As Georgia worked at the straps, Garvin’s mind reeled with horror and disgust. His stomach churned violently, not just from the nausea but from the sheer, unthinkable truth of what he had just eaten.
Human flesh.
He gagged again, his body convulsing as bile burned his throat.
Scorpion chuckled from where he stood, arms crossed over his chest, his amusent evident in his voice. "The boss and all the staff here, human at is the only thing we eat," he said, a wide smirk plastered on his face. "But honestly, you should worry less about what you’ve already swallowed and more about what cos next."
Garvin’s breath hitched. He looked up, his face contorted with fear. "What... what do you want to do?" he stamred, his voice barely above a whisper.
Georgia’s lips curled into a slow, predatory smile. There was an eerie glint in her eyes, sothing dark and twisted. "Oh, I think you’ll find it quite... enlightening," she purred, her tone dripping with sadistic pleasure.
With one final tug, the restraints fell away. Garvin’s wrists throbbed, the skin raw from hours of friction. He rubbed them gingerly, trying to restore the circulation in his numb fingers.
Scorpion stepped forward, his excitent barely contained. "You see, Garvin, after each hard day’s work, we like to unwind," he said, his voice laced with an unsettling glee. "We all deserve a little fun, don’t you think? And now that you’re here, you’re just the perfect... entertainnt."
Garvin’s eyes widened. His pulse pounded in his ears. "No," he breathed, shaking his head, the word barely escaping his lips. "I...I don’t understand what you’re saying."
"Oh, you will." Scorpion grinned. "By the ti you wake up, it’ll all be over."
Before Garvin could react, Scorpion reached for his belt and tugged his trousers down, exposing his erect length.
A cold wave of realization crashed over Garvin. Georgia’s words echoed in his mind.
"He’s gay."
"No," Garvin choked out, shaking his head violently. "No, no, no!" His voice rose in panic, his breath coming in sharp, shallow gasps. I’m overthinking. This isn’t happening. I’m just imagining it.
But the cruel amusent in their eyes told him otherwise.
Georgia suddenly produced a small syringe from her pocket, tilting it so the liquid inside caught the dim light. The substance glowed an eerie shade of blue.
"This will help you sleep for a while," she cooed, her voice like silk laced with poison.
Garvin thrashed, but Scorpion moved fast, grabbing his arms and pinning them behind his back with brutal strength.
"No!" Garvin scread, his voice cracking as he fought against the iron grip. "Get off you motherfuckers!"
Georgia stepped closer, her expression one of pure delight. "Shhh," she whispered, pressing the needle to his neck.
A sharp sting. Then fire.
The liquid burned as it entered his bloodstream, sending an unnatural warmth flooding through his veins. The room tilted. His limbs felt sluggish, heavy.
His vision blurred, shadows creeping in at the edges. The last thing he saw was Georgia’s face, her wicked smile the final thing burned into his fading consciousness.
Then, darkness.
_______________
anwhile...
Scarlett, Kato, and Hope moved swiftly through the dense forest, their figures cloaked beneath Scarlett’s invisibility spell. The morning air was thick with the scent of damp earth and pine, the only sounds being the rustle of leaves under their careful steps.
After walking for what felt like hours, they finally arrived at their destination. Before them stood a massive mansion, its silhouette looming ominously under the sunlight. Soldiers patrolled every direction, their rifles held at the ready, scanning the surroundings with sharp, watchful eyes.
But no matter how many tis the guards looked their way, none of them reacted. The invisibility spell concealed them entirely, rendering them nothing more than shadows in the wind.
Scarlett’s eyes remained fixed on the grand structure, her brows furrowed in confusion. Where is this place? she asked telepathically, her voice laced with unease.
Kato, standing beside her, let out a soft chuckle. The Eclipse Organization, he replied imdiately before Scarlett system could reply, a smirk tugging at his lips.
Scarlett’s head snapped toward him, her brows raised. "What? She shook her head. But you said the journey would take four days! How are we already here?"
Kato shrugged, his expression mischievous. "I lied," he admitted casually. "The organization isn’t actually that far. I just needed to make sure we weren’t being followed."
Scarlett’s frown deepened. That doesn’t make sense... she thought. Then, sothing clicked in her mind.
"Wait a minute..." she whispered, her eyes darting around. "I swear we’ve passed this location before. More than once. I didn’t say anything because you were leading, but I know we’ve circled this sa area multiple tis. And yet, this building wasn’t here before!"
Kato sighed, crossing his arms. "You’re right," he admitted. "This is actually the fifth ti we’ve circled this spot."
Scarlett’s mouth parted in shock. "Then... how?"
"The Eclipse Organization is extrely skilled at keeping itself hidden from the outside world," Kato explained, his tone growing more serious. "It’s not visible to just anyone. It only reveals itself to those who know the ritual to summon it."
Scarlett’s eyes narrowed. "Ritual?"
Kato nodded. "Only mbers of the organization know the process. That’s why I kept leading us in circles, doing so activates the chanism that brings the building into view."
Scarlett crossed her arms. "So... you’re telling this entire mansion just... rose from the ground?"
"Sothing like that," Kato replied with a smirk. "Now, enough questions. It’s ti to make our entrance. Drop the invisibility spell."
With a sigh, Scarlett flicked her fingers, instantly dispelling the magic that concealed them. The air around them shimred before their figures materialized into view.
The mont they appeared, the guards stationed at the gates reacted instantly, their weapons raised, fingers tightening on the triggers.
Scarlett tensed, already preparing to cast a defensive spell, but before she could move, the soldiers hesitated. Their eyes landed on Kato.
Recognition flickered across their faces.
Without a word, they withdrew their weapons and stepped aside, unlocking the gates with a chanical hiss.
Kato grinned. "Let’s go." He led Scarlett forward, his stride relaxed, his confidence unwavering.
As they passed through the towering gates, Scarlett’s sharp gaze swept across the heavily fortified courtyard. Guards were stationed at nearly every corner, each ard to the teeth, their postures rigid with discipline.
"Quite the welcoming committee," she muttered under her breath, sarcasm dripping from her voice.
Kato chuckled, clearly amused. "That’s just for security purposes," he said, though his tone was laced with irony. "Besides, they would’ve shot both of us if they didn’t recognize . So, try not to give them a reason to change their minds."
Scarlett shot him a dry look. "Comforting."
As they neared the entrance, a tall, imposing figure stepped out from the shadows. He was dressed in a crisp black suit, his dark eyes cold and calculating. Beside him stood a woman, also clad in black, her lips curled into a warm smile.
"Welco back, Kato," the man said, his voice deep and commanding. "We’ve been expecting you."
"Yes, welco back," the woman chid in, giving a graceful nod.
Kato’s lips curled into a smirk as he locked eyes with the man. "Scorpion," he greeted smoothly, his tone dripping with familiarity. "It’s been a while."
Scorpion’s face remained unreadable, but Scarlett noticed the faintest flicker of curiosity in his gaze. "Indeed," he murmured. His piercing eyes flicked to Scarlett. "And I see you’ve brought a guest."
Kato’s arm suddenly wrapped around Scarlett’s waist. She stiffened at the unexpected touch but quickly played along, masking her discomfort.
"My wife," Kato declared smoothly, his grip firm.
Scorpion’s brow arched slightly. "I wasn’t aware you were married," he said, skepticism dripping from his tone.
Kato’s smirk never wavered. "Well, I was," he said. "That’s why I left the organization for a while to find my wife and child. Now that I’ve found them, we’re back."
Scorpion didn’t react, but Scarlett could tell he was studying them carefully, analyzing every word, every gesture.
"Interesting," Scorpion finally said. His tone was unreadable. "Well, in any case, welco. Georgia will escort you to your quarters. We’ll talk later."
He stepped aside, gesturing for them to follow.
Georgia flashed a warm smile. "Right this way."
As Scarlett and Kato followed her into the heart of the Eclipse Organization, Scarlett’s sharp eyes drank in the details.
The interior was sleek, cold, and clinical a stark contrast to the grand exterior. The hallways stretched endlessly, their walls painted in pristine white, the floors polished black marble. Dim, fluorescent lights cast an eerie glow over the space, the scent of disinfectant heavy in the air.
Ard guards were stationed at nearly every door. Most rooms had keycard scanners, their blinking red lights reinforcing the strict security asures in place.
Scarlett leaned in closer to Kato, lowering her voice. "Was that the boss?"
Kato shook his head. "No. Scorpion is just one of the higher-ups. He’ll inform the boss about our arrival soon."
Scarlett glanced sideways at Georgia. "And I thought you said there were no won in this organization," she muttered. "What about her?"
Kato let out a quiet chuckle. "Oh, Georgia?" He leaned in, his breath warm against Scarlett’s ear. "She’s transgender."
Scarlett blinked, her gaze darting toward Georgia. The woman’s soft features, feminine curves, and delicate voice made Kato’s statent almost unbelievable. But then again, with modern surgeries, anything was possible.
Before she could process further, they arrived at the end of the corridor.
A massive tallic door stood before them, equipped with both a keycard and retinal scanner. Without hesitation, Georgia stepped forward, swiped her keycard, and leaned in for the retinal scan.
A chanical beep echoed.
With a soft hiss, the doors slid open revealing a spacious, lavishly furnished room.
Georgia turned to them, her smile unwavering. "Welco ho."
