Sam has already advanced to level 42. Fortunately, he has the Mantus fruit. He did not have to wait for his spiritual energy to be replenished after eating these fruits.
Aside from that, constantly fighting the Monsters boosts his overall power. So it did not take him long to reach levels 40 and 41.
Throughout these three days, he was constantly looking for other resources. Unfortunately, he was not so fortunate.
He found no other resources besides the Mantus fruits. He also did not co across any of the monsters that are commonly found near those resources.
But finally, he has the opportunity to gather another type of resource. Sam finally discovered the existence of a river. If he is not mistaken, he should be able to identify one type of grass near a body of water.
However, finding them would be difficult because they required an ideal environnt. So he had no idea if he would be able to find those glasses near that river or not. He was still determined to try.

I am heading toward the river. I expected to be able to find Monsters around that location. If I am not mistaken, those Monsters are water buffaloes. Sigh, I did not expect them to be here. However, this is also a good sign for .
Using the shadow movent technique, I get close to those water buffalo. The body colour of those water buffaloes makes them easily identifiable.
Normally, buffaloes are brownish in colour, but the buffalo in front of is blue with red dots on their body.
I need to be very careful because they are extrely powerful. Also, if I am not mistaken, those monsters are around level 40 to 41. In this situation, I cannot afford to be careless for even a second.
Using the shadow movent technique, I was already getting close to that herd of buffalo. As expected, keeping a safe distance would not make those Monsters alert.
It is now ti to attack them. I bring out my Night Slayer and employ the shadow movent technique.
Fortunately, that part of the area was surrounded by large trees, which cast shadows across the entire area. This is the ideal location for to hunt the Monsters.
I used the shadow movent technique to appear behind those groups of monsters and slash them. Not only that, but I have already used the new technique I learned after reaching level 40.
As you might expect, this is the shadow bind thod. I can use my shadow to blind my enemies' shadows, preventing them from doing anything.
Naturally, monsters stronger than would be able to break through that bind. However, monsters weaker than are unable to break the bind as easily.
This is an advantage for . As soon as I appeared behind them, I used the shadow bind technique.
My shadow grew quickly and beca directly connected to the monster's shadow in front of . After that, I attack the Monster with the shadow slash technique.
*****3rd Person POV*****
Sam's sword collided with the monster before him. But he did not stop there. He swung his sword again. He continues to attack the monster one after another.
Everything happened so quickly that the monster in front of him had no ti to react.
He suddenly turns around to attack another monster. The monster is about to strike him. This ti, a sword slash was created and directly struck the monster.
"Grunt!!!!"
Do not forget that was not your typical sword attack. This attack contains shadow energy, and Sam can cause it to travel through the shadow.
Only if you have a strong observation skill will you be able to feel the attack approaching your direction.
Unfortunately, the Monster lacked that powerful observation technique. He was hit by that attack, and a deep cut has already appeared around the buffalo's stomach.
Sam imdiately disappears from that location using the shadow movent technique. Fortunately, he applies the technique in ti, or the Monster next to him would have already struck him.
Sam appeared far away from that location and attacked the Monsters with shadow slash in the next second. He had no trouble using the shadow slash technique because the surrounding area was obscured by the trees' shadows.
Those Monsters have already beco enraged at him. When they noticed him, they tried to attack him with a water jet.
Three of those buffalo Monsters have gathered a massive amount of water energy inside their mouths and are about to shoot a water jet at him.
Fortunately, they feel pain in their body within the next second. However, it did not stop there; they were attacked one after the other.
Even with their defenses, they are unable to protect themselves. To protect themselves, they attempt to build a water wall in front of them.
Unfortunately, the attack passed through the shadow, which the water wall was unable to block.

Sigh, at least I have Night Slayer with . I am not sure what would happen if I did not have Night Slayer.
I can finally relax after seeing those dead bodies. To think about it, if I did not have the Night Slayer, I would be in serious danger.
First of all, aside from the Fast Slash and my movent technique, I lacked any other potent techniques. Even if I had the advantage in this situation, I would eventually exhaust myself.
Actually, the bodies of those buffaloes are quite useful to . I can sell them inside the Warriors Association. At the very least, they would be able to give so money, which I could use to buy resources or, if possible, a new technique.
Now it is ti to see if I can find any of those honey grasses. Those grasses would be extrely helpful to . But I needed to find them before the protagonist did.
