As Fang Ming clicked, the playback fra of the CG popped up.
Fang Ming glanced at the ti, with only a 20-second preview of the CG, but since there were only 3 days left until it went online, he wasn’t in a hurry to see the finished product.
Moreover, there were 320 trailers in it.
Just watching them would take a day or two, so... exactly the third day online.
Hiss—
Polestar is really playing with the timing here.
Just thinking about it.
[Rise of the Demon] CG trailer had already gradually lit up.
What ca into view was a rundown house, the perspective zood in through the window glass, and upon entering the room, a drunken man was slumped on a chair in front of the table, with a ss on the ground.
Plates, bowls, and scattered shards all over the place.
The sound of a woman sobbing ca from the nearby room.
A small boy crouched in the corner, swallowing his saliva as he looked at the food on the table, with a hint of his future self faintly discernible, but for now, mostly confusion and bewildernt.
Yet he dared not take it.
For so reason.
The man slumped in the chair suddenly cursed and got up, casually grabbing the whip from the table, wielding it wantonly, and in the boy’s terrified gaze, the whip struck his body and the nearby mirror.
Crack—
The shattering echoed.
As if telling the story of this broken ho.
The scene shifted.
Under the Vienna bridge, a figure curled up inside a dilapidated wooden box, a scene familiar to many Blue Star Players.
Because this was the earliest point where Blue Star Players could access the story.
The myriad lights outside the bridge were dreamy and illusory, yet beneath the bridge was the cold reality, and his eyes remained filled with confusion.
....
....
The scene changed again.
[Western Front]
From a high-altitude view overlooking the battlefield, yellow mustard gas spread across the ground like a death mist, with cries of agony everywhere it passed.
The perspective slowly descended.
Countless soldiers lay on the ground.
In this yellow-green poisonous mist, a young soldier blinded by the gas, clutched his head in pain, struggling desperately, stumbling and crawling away.
As if guided by sothing, he crawled towards the breach in the yellow-green mist.
The scene suddenly shifted to a first-person perspective.
The hazy yellowish-white filled the entire screen, and the Blue Star Players watching the CG took a second to realize that this was his first-person perspective.
And in this perspective.
Blind due to the ’gas’, transforming his view into one where it seed as if a light was guiding him to escape.
From the first-person view, it was this guidance that brought him back from the brink of death, solidifying a certain belief in him.
Yet from a third-party perspective, it seed purely like good luck.
But precisely under such circumstances, an exceedingly obsessive and world-shaking figure was created.
The scene flashed again.
What ca into view was the familiar beer hall speech.
And this ti.
The youth in the preview CG no longer had confusion in his eyes, and viewers in the live broadcast room knew well that this was where it all began.
In that passionate, hoarse speech.
The scene shattered abruptly, followed by endless armies, roaring air fleets covering the sky, rolling over the illusory map of Europe.
Then appeared the bold characters [Polestar Cinema].
Signifying the end of the preview CG.
The Blue Star Players in the live broadcast room had so anticipation, after all, everyone knew what the empire did afterwards, but never expected such a rocky beginning.
A broken ho, a bewildered soul.
Suddenly, they looked forward to the complete version.
Then.
Fang Ming chatted with the Blue Star viewers in the live stream and continued browsing through other previews:
"Let’s take another look... Hmm?"
"[Giant in a Wheelchair]"
"This title is quite interesting, let see the introduction."
"Looking at this synopsis, it’s about that President Roosevelt from the United States."
"Almost ended World War II."
"Just fell before the end of the war, though."
"This one could be interesting."
"Learned relatively little before, right."
With that, Fang Ming clicked on the preview CG.
And in the live broadcast room, the Blue Star Players nodded, indeed, there was relatively little known about this president of the United States, because when the United States joined, the United States region had just opened up.
Plus, most players were fighting in Europe, leaving fewer in the United States.
By the ti they learned enough about [World War II], it was almost over, and the president of the United States had already passed.
So.
With a sense of curiosity, Fang Ming clicked on the preview CG.
The screen lights up.
What cos into view is a room illuminated by sunlight.
A young boy is lying on the Persian carpet, flipping through a sailing magazine. The crisp chirping of birds cos from outside the window, where there’s a ticulously tended rose garden. A young mother is watering the plants, simultaneously saying to the room:
"It’s almost ti for your French class, tidy up."
The boy in the room, while looking at the magazine, replies:
"Got it, Mom."
This scene.
Made the Blue Star audience in the livestream feel a bit off balance. This childhood compared to the previous one is just too happy, practically like a mont of peace.
As the scene flashes by.
Adolescence... begins to show wisdom and grace beyond his years.
Young adulthood... adds a bit of resolve to his inherent composure.
Until an unexpected misfortune occurs.
Stricken with poliomyelitis.
Only then did the Blue Star viewers in the livestream feel a bit of reality.
The smooth first half of this United States President’s life feels like it’s not even in the sa world as the Imperial Leader from the previous CGI.
And this illness brought a sense of reality to a life that seed so flawlessly smooth as to be almost illusory.
What followed were spells of high fever, pain, numbness, and the harbinger of lifelong disability.
But it did not defeat him.
He continued to persistently exercise, trying to regain the ability to walk and stand, until seven years later, this man who had stepped away from politics for a while due to illness ran for governor and won.
As scenes flashed by.
The Blue Star viewers who had just felt a touch of reality were baffled again.
Because after running for governor, he then ran for governor of New York, and after becoming the governor of New York, he went on to beco a presidential candidate, and then won the presidential election?!
What the...?
This life story left the Blue Star viewers in the livestream thoroughly bewildered.
Could he be so kind of child of destiny?
With such a life trajectory, even if they started a hundred tis, building upon each other’s beginnings, they might not necessarily achieve this.
Of course.
It also had a lot to do with his persistence and willpower, after all, not everyone can stand up again after being paralyzed, consistently training for seven years.
But this life experience really made the Blue Star viewers feel incredulous.
Until the playback ended.
The Blue Star viewers in the livestream continued discussing.
The preview CGI cuts off before the second World War, but this card indeed made the Blue Star viewers even more curious.
So viewers have already started looking up information.
Fang Ming flipped through other previews and then said:
"Honestly speaking."
"This president of the United States should have the highest status and the smoothest life out of all these previews, right?"
"There shouldn’t be many stronger than him."
"But there are quite a few worse off than him, any recomndations? I’ll check them out."
This life, even if it’s written into a script, feels like cheating.
The Blue Star viewers in the livestream heard Fang Ming’s words and started discussing, then recomnded a bunch:
[Check out ’Wei Qing,’ he started as a slave]
[Nonsense above, he married a princess in the end, doesn’t that make him a winner in life?]
[Zhang Fei, a butcher]
[I have Liu Bei, Liu Bei selling straw sandals is worse off than Zhang Fei]
[Stop arguing, the strear should check out Zhu Yuanzhang’s CGI, I rember Zhu Yuanzhang started as a beggar]
[Wasn’t Zhu Yuanzhang the founding emperor of the Ming Dynasty?]
[First a beggar, then beca an emperor]
[Stop ssing around? Are you kidding? What did he use to start a rebellion?]
[Started with a bowl]
The discussion in the livestream suddenly shifted to Zhu Yuanzhang, after all, starting as a beggar and later becoming an emperor is quite a stark contrast.
Fang Ming was also intrigued, reading the bullet screen discussion:
"Seems like it."
"I have also played the [Huaxia] series, never noticed it back then, but there have always been rumors about Zhu Yuanzhang starting as a beggar and sothing about pearl jade soup."
"Don’t know if it’s true or not."
"When I played back then, really got sick of Zhu Yuanzhang killing everyone."
"During the Hongwu era, I rember starting four tis, and all four tis Zhu Yuanzhang cut down."
"Got so mad I stopped playing thereafter."
"So let’s watch his, I’ll look for it."
At this mont.
The Blue Star viewers in the livestream, hearing Fang Ming’s words, got interested as well.
After all, while they seed to know the highlights of those historical figures from the [Huaxia] series, they truly didn’t know much about what these figures did before rising to prominence.
Moreover... how does a beggar fight his way to becoming an emperor?
This is what made Blue Star Players most curious.
