It took a whole night, plus a few hours before I finally was able to clear my mind. I still wasn't anywhere near ready, but I also kinda doubted that I would be able to get better prepared, so I just decided to go.

Sotis that's the best decision you can do. Stop overthinking and just do.

I started by finally activating all the skills I could possibly think of giving an advantage in the upcoming fight. The first one was actually quite an intricate and efficient barrier. A single layer on my skin, to protect from the incoming damage. It was also able to morph itself, so I didn't have to worry about my movents being slowed down. It took another couple of hours to make.

Then I followed with the rest. Just like always my veins got filled with the void essence, transforming physically. My skin, eyes, nails, lips, and chair changed as the essence also started to slip through the world around .

I held up with the 'Void domain' because the battlefield was supposed to be sowhere else, but I turned on everything else. The last thing I did was pull the pudao out.

Instead of just running I flew, which was significantly slower, but also fast enough to probably get to where I needed to be.

This decision proved to be right. Just like my previous thoughts about Ixa luring so ghosts out of Aaraam'soturi.

It started when I noticed one, far away from , but because of my speed, and all the magic around , I guess I sohow was a shining beacon of light to that creature, because it probably noticed even sooner.

I switched from flying to running, accelerated in the blink of an eye to a hypersonic spread, creating this sonic boom, as I breached the barrier of sound, getting faster and faster until we clashed. I just swung my weapon with so much strength, that the ghost couldn't even protect himself from that attack.

I briefly paused, to pick up the crystals, but that was enough for more targets to appear on the horizon around . Several, all clearly going straight at . They all had big shapes following them. Those were the weapons that were following their owners, dragged by telekinetic powers.

I could wait for them to co to , bet I was actually quite afraid of getting overwheld, so I decided to be the one in charge of how the fight transpired. To do that I picked the smallest group, then blasted at them, again quickly increasing my speed while making a lot of noise.

I was terrifyingly strong thanks to the consumption of the fruit, and the recent further expansion of my physical capabilities, through the 'Legendary Dreadnought' class. Those weak ghosts didn't have any chances against .

It's also worth ntioning that my weapon was a lot stronger than it used to be. There was as much magic into that item as I was capable of shoving inside. This made that very pudao cut easily through anything they did possess, as clearly the enchantnt wasn't even comparable.

From the perspective of ti, I can say that even in the society of Bahumdabars the prices of items had to be ridiculous, so only the strongest could afford sothing comparable to what I made for myself.

Bu the ti I picked the crystals up, the rest whom I noticed before, was already on my ass, and even more, were showing on the horizon. I'll spare you the details, but the fight took over two hours, which is quite impressive taking into account the tempo we fought with, and the power behind each blow. So of them were just that good.

Then the inflow of enemies stopped. I had so ti to rest, gather the score, and even jump back to Loistavadvaar to replenish lost strength.

If you think it was too easy, well... You are wrong. It was this easy because I didn't actually get anywhere close to the flying capital. What I actually fought was the remains of the forces that chased Ixa after her initial attacks, and couldn't follow her during her escape.

They were left in the field, roaming mindlessly since the target of their fury vanished.

So technically, I haven't fought shit yet. I was a little bit confused about that situation, but at that point, I actually thought I was closer to Aaraam'soturi than I actually was, which gave this fake encouragent.

I started flying around, hoping to encounter the barrier protecting the city, but I haven't found anything. Which to was weird as hell. After wasting so more ti, I decided to go further, because, at my current spot, I couldn't find a damn thing.

I kept flying, looking carefully around for more ghosts or anything weird in the sky, but nothing like that was showing on my radar. Well, at least not until the night ca.

The sky was full of fake stars, which I was able to see because of the lack of clouds. This gave a lancholic feeling since my senses were kinda dulled because nothing was happening for a while. It got abruptly stopped, though.

I didn't see it, but all my instincts were insisting I had to dodge. Then I spotted a black dod while doing an evasive maneuver. A fraction of a second later, a freaking hamr in the size of a truck fell from the sky in the place I was occupying a mont ago.

Then the hamr picked itself up, to try and smash , but I blocked it with my weapon. My eyes weren't actually focused on that lump of tal. I was too busy trying to find the source of this attack. I did find it up in the sky. There was this small, barely visible small dot in front of a single star.

Yes, my eyes were that good. Although I wasn't hundred percent sure if I was actually seeing what I saw because it was this small, and so far away. Far enough that my instinct wasn't picking up on anything but the flying hamr.
