Leonel ca in the morning, but I told him he should go hunting instead. I made sure to explain to him that I had to do the enchantnts, so there wouldn't be anything to do for him anyway. He accepted that, then left to join the rest.
I used the little break to pick up the stones from Fin. After all, I had no idea how much ti it would take to finish everything, so it was a good idea to empty the automaton's storage before focusing on the task ahead of .
This started a long process of several days, which I would almost completely spend on infusions of the armor. The only breaks I took were for eating, shitting, and picking up the crystals, but eventually, things were done, and I was able to focus on the last part. The 'Rune-graving' process.
It added a few days to the pile.
I also, quite quickly, made one massive maul from the sa alloy the armor was created. I didn't enchant it, because I just wanted to get the golem going as fast as possible, and the weapon was necessary.
The only thing left was to assemble everything, then test if it worked properly. It was early morning when I was ready to start the process, so I quickly rushed to my house, where the family was busy eating breakfast. I bought them in the middle of a lively conversation.
- Hi honey - Celestine greeted .
- Hi - I said and smiled at her.
At this point I really missed her, but the work needed to be done as soon as possible.
- Sothing happened, dad? - Tihana asked, looking slightly alard.
- Well, I have almost everything done for the second golem, so I thought that maybe Leonel would like to put it all together with - I said. - But since I ca here already, I might as well grab a bite.
- You should grab a shower - Carlita said, then slightly smiled.
I sniffed my armpits. To put it short, I can confirm, I should have grabbed a shower first.
- I'll be right back - I inford them, then left to wash.
After I ca back, there was only Leonel at the table. He was clearly waiting for and had a big sandwich with a lot of stuff packed inside. It was really substantial.
- Mom made you sothing to eat - he told . - They went hunting already.
I sighed, as I wanted to spend so ti with them, but they had their own schedule. There was nothing else to do but eat the food.
- I'll eat this quickly, and then let's assemble the golem - I said to him.
He smiled at in response.
Then I sat down. As I was devouring the sandwich, Leonel brought a notebook to the dining room. He seed quite excited.
- I did so new sketches - he told . - You told us before about the monsters you found, and you were working on fire elentals at first, then water elentals, so I thought about making sothing to fight the earth elentals.
He quickly turned so pages, then showed a sketch. It was sothing quite similar to the bigger mix of a crocodile and the dragons in the tier-two hunting grounds around Petrograd. Basically a humanoidal dragon, and it even had a tail, and a proper draconic head.
- Carlita gave an idea. She said if you heat sothing up, and then you cool it down fast, it breaks easier, so thought the golem could breathe fire, and use freezing rays, like the ones you already made. He could have an impact weapon in his right hand too. The tail could help stabilize the construction during the heavy hits - he explained.
- You just wanted the tail, didn't you? The stabilization is bullshit - I said looking at the sketch.
He smiled.
- It looks cooler this way.
His words made chuckle, and I almost choke on the sandwich. After soughing up a little, I got a hold of myself, then analyzed the sketches so more while finishing the food.
- I like the idea about fire and size - I summarized. - But we might have to figure out sothing else about the impact weapon... We could do a similar construction we made for the golem designed for the water elentals, just add those elents you want so badly... Hmm... Maybe sothing causing vibrations? Like a sonic gun, and on top of it a good old school heavy hamr? What do you think?
- Yes! That sounds great! - he said.
His smile told that I already had him. He was so excited to work on the thing after waiting so long, that it made look forward to the job. We could finally properly bond.
- Ok. Let's assemble the new robot, test it, and in the anti talk this new project through. Maybe we will co up with so new ideas. When we return, we should do so designing - I pointed out.
- Yes! - he almost jumped.
Like that, we left the house, and the work began. It took us so ti because there were many parts. So needed to be dealt with carefully because the precision was needed to make them all fit together, but thanks to 'Telekinesis' and our enhanced physiques, we were able to deal with any issues.
- Ti to na it - I said when we finished.
- Icebreaker! - Leonel said imdiately.
I almost snorted. It quite well summarized what the automaton was about, but was a little bit too cheesy. He seed to be happy about the na like he thought it through for a while already.
- Ok - I agreed. - Icebreaker it is. Let's go test it.
So we left via shadow walk, and for a few hours watching how the Icebreaker dealt with the water elentals. Freezing them and crushing them for the most part. Each ti he got overwheld by the numbers, he utilized his ability to control water, and the earth magic, to make room necessary to deal with them.
The conclusions I ca to from the first project were basically spot on, which allowed to design everything well, and it worked as I intended.
We took the crystals from the golem and returned to begin designing the third one.
