I got up early, then began preparing breakfast. I guess the little noise I made, in the current situation of my family, was enough to wake everybody up.

I had no idea where, but the two kids kidnapped by the cartel were also in the house, and they ca out to eat with us, although Tihana had to actually go there and ask them too. This situation allowed to find out that she actually could speak Spanish, which I didn't know.

- Morning everybody - I threw as they all sat down, then moved glasses with the orange juice I was pouring in just a mont before.

- Morning - replied Tihana, the other kids shyly joined her on that.

Celestine didn't say anything.

- I guess we will talk now, won't we? - I asked then. - How about I start? What are two guests exactly doing here? And when did you learn to speak Spanish?

- I'll sum it up for you. Their families are dead. Both had a similar situation. Fathers were owing money to the cartel, but couldn't pay, and it ended bloody. They were taken to be sold as compensation. They've seen the murder with their own eyes, and when they saw you dealing with the cartel, they actually refused to go with the agents. For now, we agreed they will stay here - she explained.

- Is that all?- I raised my eyebrows.

- Ok, maybe I added a little fuel to his situation - she shrugged her shoulders. - It's not like I was lying. Besides, they needed a safe space. What's better than our house?

I felt like I couldn't really argue with her on that, but I was also able to see that Tihana was seeing her younger self in those kids, that's why she was so eager to help.

- What about Spanish? - I asked after a mont of thinking.

- I learned - she shrugged her shoulders.

- Can we please address the real issue? - Celestine quickly butted in our argunt. - Where have you been yesterday, and what did you do?

I imdiately detected a collision course with her, since the tone was very accusatory.

- I've been in few places - I explained. - As far as what I was doing, I was making sure there would be no revenge from the cartel on anybody in this room or family mbers of the people who are sitting by this table. As for the specific action I've taken, I'll leave it to your imagination.

I imdiately noticed confusion in her behavior. She clearly didn't know how to react. She wanted to give a rough ti for murdering people, but also understood why I did what I did. Fortunately for her, sobody ca to her rescue. We heard a knocking on the door of the rented house.

The two kids of xican descent reacted with fear, the rest of us with curiosity.

- I'll open - I offered.

I had this feeling that I was gonna have to deal with the FBI agents, so when I opened the door and saw Will, I was quite surprised.

His hair was ssed up, and the suid had marks of a long trip. It had wrinkly marks everywhere. On the street was a black car parked. Clearly the vehicle he arrived in.

- What the heck are you doing here? - I asked straight away.

- Hi - he threw at , then stepped to the side, moving his head a little to give a sign to follow him.

I frowned my eyebrows, but followed, closing the door.

- What the fuck did you do? - he hissed at imdiately. - Why do I have the Arican governnt calling throughout the whole night? Not just the governnt itself. I've been called by the pentagon, CIA, FBI, and the president himself.

- Celestine adn Tihana were...

- Kidnapped. I know. Joseph already called to inform about this. He actually requested help, but I've told him to go straight up to you - Will sighed. - Fuck. Now I feel like I've created this ss... Shit! I want to punch you so bad, but I kinda understand... I don't know what I would do in the sa case.

- If you know why I did what I did, then why the hell are you here? - my eyebrows climbed my forehead on their own.

- To tell you that they know about you, but what's more important is that they want to know more - he inford . - Pentagon demands everything I have about you.

- Just tell them to fuck off - I shrugged my shoulders.

- They will kick you out of the country, Peter.

- Yeah. They can try - A chuckle left my mouth.

- This is serious for fuck's sake! - he growled again. - What the heck is going on with you? Did you get drunk on your power, or what?

His words hit like once his fist did. I already was feeling that my violence was out of control. Celestine noticed that too.

I slowly nodded. My expression changed. The smile disappeared. I beca more serious.

- I know. I was pissed when they dared to touch those close to , so I punished them for that. Then it got unnecessarily violent, but I couldn't stop. Those people had to die. Even a one percent chance for them to take revenge was too much - I explained.

- I know - he sighed. - I just needed to know if you know. If you do, then that's good.

- So you ca all the way here just for that? - I asked.

- No. I ca to talk about what we will do now. I can't just ignore the Arican governnt, and after them, the xicans will call. I'm actually expecting my phone to ring at any mont - he said and pulled the device from the inside pocket of his jacket. - This is a serious issue, and we should figure out what to tell them.

I nodded.

- Ok, but let's talk sowhere else about this. I bet that there will be FBI agents here any minute, probably with a freaking US army... - I sighed again, then placed my hand on his shoulder to take us to Loistavadvaar.

We landed among a crowd of my shadows, bathing in the silver light. They were surrounding a few guys whom I kinda kidnapped, and forgot about. Vato was among them.

- Ups? - left my mouth
