In the passage, Monet was running quickly. Claude was right behind him. Suddenly, Monet stopped, his face full of shock. "Duerer... is dead!"

Black mist seeped out from the rock wall and ford into a ball, then rged into Monet’s palm.

"Don’t let Golden Sand City beco a graveyard." Duerer’s voice echoed in his mind.

Monet clenched his fist. His twelve wings spread wide.

Two balls of black mist ford into two blue and dark marks.

In the depths of Monet’s eyes, two Battle Stylerunes appeared.

General Sean’s "Ghost Summoning" and General Duerer’s "One Life, One Death."

Although dim, they still flashed with the lifeti achievents of the two generals.

...

On the other side.

Logan’s eyes widened in shock. "General Duerer... also..."

Elena’s ntal Power passed through the rock and soil, and she whispered: "There are two strange powers attached to General Monet."

General Darwin’s nanorobots analyzed the energy around them. General Darwin frowned and said: "So, Sean and Duerer were both test subjects. Their mind imprints were both modified by the Order Rebuilder."

Logan frowned. "So, according to you, General Sean and General Duerer were both test subjects of the Order Rebuilder Protocol?"

General Darwin sighed. "I’m afraid that’s true. And maybe they themselves didn’t even know this experint existed."

Monet’s twelve wings trembled in the ruins.

He had reached his limit. His familiar energy was completely gone, and all his star marks were dark.

Even the two ghost cores, though now rged into his Mind Sea, had caused a strong shock during the fusion. His consciousness was close to breaking.

The fusion of the two cores had made Monet’s power spike in a short ti, but at the cost of his soul’s stability.

"Can you hold on?" Claude’s voice ca from behind. His condition was even worse — he had no fighting power left.

Monet didn’t answer. His lips trembled as he said, "The information... has to get through."

Every step Monet took now was painful.

The shaking in his Mind Sea made his vision blurry. The world in front of him kept changing — clear, then unclear.

He saw Sean’s back, Duerer’s smile, and the faces of the fallen people flashing before him.

He rembered the rainy night when he first accepted the ghost contract. That was a long ti ago.

"Delusion..." Monet bit his teeth. "All of it... is a delusion!"

He forced himself to focus, trying to sense where Logan was.

That was his only goal: to deliver the information to Logan.

One hundred ters.

Monet’s left leg caught on a piece of broken stone. He fell to his knees.

His knee hit the ground with a sharp pain, but he didn’t stop. He pushed himself up with his hands.

Two hundred ters.

A Bone Clan warrior jumped out from the ruins, blocking his way.

Its eye sockets burned with green fire, and its bone blade glowed in the dim light.

Monet raised his hand. The two blue marks on his palm flickered slightly. "Get out of the way."

A blue light shot from his hand, piercing through the Bone Clan warrior’s bone armor and hitting its soul core directly.

The core was destroyed. The Ancestral Spirits could no longer control the puppet. It didn’t even have ti to react before it collapsed with a loud crash.

This attack used up a lot of Monet’s ntal Power.

His vision got even worse, and his twelve wings shook more violently.

Five hundred ters.

A cloud of dust cleared, and Monet finally saw Logan’s face.

At that mont, Logan was fighting with a group of people, trying to hold off three giant bone clan centipedes.

The mont he saw General Monet, Logan imdiately ordered Natalia: "Get ready to et General Monet!"

Natalia’s ntal Power spread out instantly. The threads of Hellweaver wove through the air, forming a protective shield around General Monet and keeping the Bone Clan warriors away.

At this mont, General Monet’s Soul Sea was at the edge of breaking.

Deep in his soul core, the two ghost cores were fighting against each other more and more strongly.

Sean and Duerer’s mind imprints were trying to take over his mind. It was causing him unbearable pain.

"I am... Monet..." General Monet whispered in his heart. "Not Sean... not Duerer... I am Monet..."

But the voices grew louder and louder:

"Don’t let Golden Sand City beco a graveyard."

"Don’t let Golden Sand City beco a graveyard."

Those two last words mixed in his mind like a spell, repeating over and over.

Monet stopped walking and closed his eyes.

He had to make a choice: either give up himself and let Sean and Duerer’s mind imprints take over completely, or stay strong and risk his Soul Sea breaking.

"Chunli.." Monet said quietly.

He rembered the na — the person he had protected all his life, the figure that had vanished into the river of ti.

"I will... protect the Human Federation for you."

This wasn’t shouted. It was just whispered in his heart.

But after that thought ford, sothing changed in Monet’s Mind Sea.

The strong rejection between the two ghost cores suddenly got weaker.

Sean and Duerer’s mind imprints no longer tried to take over his mind. Instead, they rged with his own self — not to replace, but to beco part of him.

Monet suddenly opened his eyes. His pupils had blue sparkles in them — a sign that the two ghost cores had fully rged.

His twelve wings were still dark, but they no longer trembled. His Mind threads were all broken, but a new kind of sense was beginning to wake up.

At that mont, Logan appeared beside General Monet with a Space Teleport.

Around them, a large number of black ant soldiers gathered, surrounding the two of them.

Natalia, Sophia, Lucia, and others stood on the outside, fighting and killing Bone Clan warriors.

"General Monet, are you okay?" Logan looked at Monet’s condition, which was quickly getting better. He looked happy.

But General Monet just walked up to Logan. He didn’t say anything. He raised his hand and placed his palm on Logan’s forehead.

In that mont, Monet’s Soul Sea opened completely. All the information, all the mories, all the sensory data turned into pure mind waves and passed into Logan.

In an instant, Logan felt everything Monet had sent:

The exact location of the Ancestral Spirits core.

The strange source of the nano runes.

The guess about the Order Rebuilder Protocol.

And two key discoveries: soone was using Ancestral Spirits cores in a "reverse fusion" experint.

That person wanted to turn himself into a new kind of life — half human, half Ancestral Spirits — a being with a "nano rune gene sequence"!

At that mont, Monet swayed and fell forward.

Logan’s Blood Vine clone quickly moved, turning into a red light that caught Monet’s body.

Just touching him for a mont, Logan realized General Monet’s condition: "Soul Sea is seriously damaged. The two ghost cores have fully rged and beco part of his Mind Sea."

"General Sean and General Duerer’s mind imprints haven’t disappeared either. They have rged with General Monet’s soul core!"

"What will happen to him?" At that mont, Claude pushed his way through the black ant army.

At that mont, his star marks were completely dark, but at least his body was still alive.

Logan looked at him and sighed: "General Monet might sleep for a while. And there will always be a part of General Sean and General Duerer in his mind."

At that mont, Darwin’s nanorobots had already climbed onto General Monet’s body, scanning the data in his mind sea.

"The information has been completely received," Darwin’s eyes widened in shock. "There’s actually another group hunting the Ancestral Spirits!"

Logan frowned. "Who?"

General Darwin spoke in a serious tone. "We can’t recognize them. But it should be an old one. The Order Rebuilder Protocol experint has been banned for 50 years."

Logan heard that, and turned to General Claude with a sigh. "Take General Monet away from the battlefield."

Claude nodded and picked up Monet’s body, walking toward the safe area behind.

Logan turned around and faced the deep pit. "Elena, analyze the information and find the Ancestral Spirits core’s coordinates."

Elena compared the data General Monet sent back with the 3D structure map. Soon, a red dot appeared on the map. "Coordinates confird! The Ancestral Spirits core is 720 ters underground, under the third level of the altar base."

"Also, the detection results show that the Ancestral Spirits core is protected by three layers of barriers. Each layer is made of a mix of nano runes and Ancestral Spirits energy patterns."

"General Darwin," Logan turned and asked. "This tech stuff is up to you. You know nanorunes best."

Darwin nodded and imdiately brought up a hologram, comparing the investigation records with the current situation.

At the sa ti, Logan’s 108 clones weren’t idle. They were also working to decode the Ancestral Spirits’ Rune Arrays.

The group slowly moved forward. Occasionally, Bone Clan warriors would try to interfere, but they were quickly dealt with by Natalia and the others.

As for Logan himself, he sat on a small Nabo shell, closing his eyes in deep thought.

The information Monet had sent filled his mind like a huge ocean — hard to take in.

It was a data stream made of pure mind waves. It included the coordinates of the Ancestral Spirits core, the distribution map of the nanorunes, the full record of the Order Rebuilder Protocol, and even the entire lives of General Monet, General Duerer, and General Sean.

It took Logan a lot of effort to absorb the mories of the three generals.

When he opened his eyes again, Elena’s excited voice ca through: "The Ancestral Spirits is moving again — it jumped off the platform!"

Logan frowned. "Does that big mushroom want to run away?"

At the sa ti, a large number of nanorobots poured out from General Darwin’s palm.

They turned into silver dust, surrounding him and scanning every detail of the environnt.

Suddenly, Darwin opened his eyes in shock. "Soone has carried out the Order Rebuilder Protocol on the Ancestral Spirits. It gave the Bone Clan warriors and the Ancestral Spirits the ability of nanorunes!"

That news was like a lightning bolt — shocking everyone around.

"Soone is working from the inside?" Logan said quietly.

Elena frowned. "You an... we’re fighting hard here, while soone secretly took an X-ray, drew so blood, and gave it a shot?"

Logan nodded and turned to General Darwin. "I’m sharing General Monet’s information with you. The nanorobots can analyze faster. We must find that person!"
