Arthur, the presiding judge, who had been listening quietly, nodded in agreent. He rested his chin on one hand, his eyes lowered, but his voice was firm and full of authority: "You should at least respect the opinion of the party involved. Besides, it’s already certain that Logan will beco the head of the Inspection Bureau."
At this, the representatives from the Temple and the Parliant, who had been arguing loudly, suddenly stopped.
Eugenia glanced at Logan with a knowing smile: "Judge Arthur, I understand your point, but Logan isn’t officially the head of the Inspection Bureau yet, and he hasn’t passed the Supernova trial. So, the Temple Knights will only allow him to have voting rights, not decision-making power."
Hearing this, Philip General, known for his hot temper, slamd his hand on the table and glared at Eugenia: "Eugenia, watch your words. The Military Committee supports Logan in expressing his own opinion. He can speak freely. You all just shut up and listen!"
Philip’s outburst made everyone in the tent pause, and they all frowned.
At this mont, they turned their attention to Darwin General, who imdiately said: "Philip’s opinion is the sa as the Military Committee’s."
anwhile, Judge Arthur spoke quietly: "I’ve already made the stance of the judgnt court clear. Logan definitely has the right to speak and vote. If you have any objections, feel free to co to my court and discuss it."
Facing the invitation from Judge Arthur, all the representatives present frowned.
Eugenia glared at Logan, then turned to look at the priests behind her—Shaya and Nancy—giving them a questioning look.
Shaya stepped forward silently and said: "We’ll listen, but the Temple will keep its own position and won’t easily follow others’ decisions."
anwhile, the Parliant, led by Holt, had reached a decision.
Holt stepped forward and gave Logan a friendly smile: "We support Logan. Whatever he decides, we’ll go along with it."
This decision imdiately caused murmurs throughout the room.
Everyone was surprised by the Parliant’s decision. They had tied their political stance to the future leader of a new departnt, which was basically like the Parliant officially joining forces with Logan.
Logan understood Holt’s thoughts. After giving him a nod, he stood up and said, "You’ve all been talking a lot, but what you really want is to grab power. Since this whole thing started with and I’m the one who fixed it, I’m taking the central Blood Cultivation Realm from the thirteen Holy Cities of The Black Church. Who’s for it, and who’s against it?"
Logan’s words were direct and bold. He imdiately took the biggest asset of The Black Church.
Shaya Priest stood up right away. "I’m against it! The Blood Cultivation Realm of The Black Church should be used to compensate for the sacrifice of our high priest."
Eugenia also stepped forward, glaring at Logan. "You’re being too greedy! The biggest treasure of The Black Church is those thirteen Blood Cultivation Realms. You actually want to take them all for yourself?"
Logan looked around at everyone and coldly said, "I’m not asking for your opinion. You’d better not talk to with that arrogant attitude. You don’t have the right."
As soon as he finished speaking, Logan’s blood tree armor suddenly stretched out dozens of tendrils, forming fifteen familiar clones. Each one radiated the power of a Legend Stage 5 Star.
Philip’s tent was already small, and now it was filled with fifteen familiar clones. Even though Logan controlled their size, the tent still collapsed completely.
Everyone stood in the ruins, staring at the fifteen familiar clones. They all fell silent.
Especially the Parliant leaders. Their eyes on Logan had changed. Holt even slapped his thigh in shock. "Damn it, I thought we could be equals in the future, but now his power is way stronger than Alex’s whole family. Wait... that thing on him... isn’t it the sa tree that was on Dale Morgan?"
At this, the surrounding council mbers looked at each other in horror and started stepping back.
They had been terrified by Dale Morgan in the battle underground. That experience had left them with a deep fear of vine-like plants.
Holt tried to control his shock and whispered: "Logan, this is...?"
Logan heard that and grinned, "You guessed right. I’ve inherited the Morgan family’s secret. Now, Priest of the Temple, are you still going to oppose ?"
Being publicly humiliated by Logan, Shaya Priest’s face turned dark. She sneered at him and said coldly, "Don’t think just because you had a lucky break and so chance, you can act like you’re the top. The Temple has a depth you, a high school student, can’t even imagine!"
Eugenia also gave Logan a sharp look. "Even if you’re strong, you’re still just one person. My Temple has a million knights and a million battle priests. You’re like a mantis trying to block a wheel."
Logan let out a light laugh. "You want to talk numbers, huh?"
Before he finished speaking, the space behind Logan opened up, and ten thousand Ashen Dragons flew out all at once.
In an instant, the sky roared with dragon cries.
The military base of the entire human federation imdiately sounded air-raid alarms.
Nurous anti-air guns turned on, trying to lock onto the monsters in the sky.
Suddenly, the Dragon Emperor and Dragon Commander flew out from the Blood Cultivation Realm. Two dragon kings at the peak of Legend stage let out a furious roar. Then, nearly a thousand Legend-stage Ashen Dragons unleashed a rain of thorns, destroying the entire base’s air defenses in an instant.
Seeing this, Philip General and Darwin General stood up in a flash and took a deep breath.
They quickly scanned the area, checking for casualties.
After seeing that the base had only lost its anti-air guns and radar systems on the walls, the two n finally relaxed.
Philip General sat back on the sofa and scolded Logan, "You little brat, next ti you want to show off, at least tell us in advance. Those anti-air guns aren’t free."
Logan blinked at Philip General, and he could clearly see a hint of amusent in his eyes.
Garen City Lord looked up at the sky full of Legend-stage Ashen Dragons. His heart was pounding.
He kept looking between the dragons and Logan, still struggling to believe that Logan could control so many huge creatures. "That kid... his familiar space must be as big as a military fortress."
On the other side, Shaya Priest and Eugenia, the commander of the Temple Knights, both looked shocked.
This massive force was almost as strong as the entire Temple Knight Corps. Eugenia was deeply shocked, thinking to herself: "Even if all the Temple Knights from hundreds of major cities in the human federation joined together, they might not be able to match this."
She looked at Shaya Priest and frowned. "We might need to change our plan."
Shaya sighed helplessly and looked at Logan. "Our Temple can agree to your proposal, but we want to take over all the people of The Black Church. That’s our bottom line."
For the Temple, although they cared about resources and money, they cared even more about faith.
To have a heretic bow to them was a big temptation for the Temple’s leaders.
Logan narrowed his eyes and looked at Shaya Priest. "Then it’s up to you. I won’t get in your way."
Seeing that Logan didn’t refuse, Shaya finally let out a breath and said, "I hope you an what you say."
Holt saw that the Temple had backed down, and quickly stepped in front of Logan, looking him over with a smile. "Logan, we don’t want resources or people. But you have to give us the intelligence and research data from The Black Church. Their studies on the Lost World are the most valuable treasure."
Logan raised an eyebrow and looked at Holt with a smile. "You sure know how to pick. What are you going to do with all that information?"
Holt didn’t refuse, so he smiled again. "You know, after the Morgan Castle incident, the Parliant was badly hurt. We need to train the next generation of the noble families quickly, and exploring the Lost World is the fastest and most effective way."
Logan nodded silently.
Holt was right. With The Black Church’s research and information, the council mbers would feel much safer about their children.
So Logan patted Holt on the shoulder and smiled. "I agree, but I don’t want the Parliant to get in the way of what I’m going to do next."
Holt understood what Logan was thinking. He quickly put his hand on his chest and promised, "You can rest assured. We’ll fully support you in clearing Bell Major’s na!"
Logan didn’t expect Holt to agree so quickly. He leaned in and said in a low voice, "Tell honestly, did you have anything to do with framing Natalia, Sophia, Lucia, and Bell?"
Logan’s question made Holt break out in a cold sweat imdiately.
He and his family had definitely played a big role in framing those talented people.
Holt quickly promised: "Logan, you, you listen to . I’m willing to make it up to you..."
Logan saw that Holt wasn’t lying and nodded. Then he gave an order. "Everyone who was involved in this, as long as they’re still alive, seven days from now, they have to co with to the cetery and kneel before General Bell to apologize."
At this, Logan’s voice turned cold. "Rember, I an everyone! If anyone is missing that day, don’t bla for hunting them down."
After saying that, Logan left the trembling Holt behind and walked to the center of the square, calling back the Ashen Dragons in the air.
