Ghost, a monster that often appears in horror stories, is not unfamiliar to citizens of the Federation.
But throughout the entire history of the Federation, no familiar tar has ever successfully bonded with a pure soul-type ghost.
So, all the people in the Federation were curious about this ghost princess called [Heserion].
As soon as the video was opened, netizens were imdiately attracted by Heserion’s beautiful, blue-transparent, ghostly skin.
"Oh, my mom used to tell that ghosts are scary monsters. Now I know she was lying to ."
"Wow, Heserion is so beautiful! And her face is almost invisible, like it’s both real and imaginary, giving people endless imagination."
"Guys, shouldn’t you be paying attention to this ghost princess’s strength instead of just staring? Look, even Master 5 stars monsters are killed in an instant by her!"
"No! It’s not just a quick kill. It’s an ambush! Anyone caught off guard by her gets mind-controlled and then enters a countdown to death. That’s what makes the ghost princess so scary!"
...
Soon, the netizens’ ratings of Heserion’s combat power started to co in.
To everyone’s surprise, the suggested rating for Heserion was pushed all the way into the top 64.
When the Snow Dragon reviewers saw this, they were all shocked.
They hadn’t expected the public to be even more unreasonable than them, giving Heserion such a high score.
That ant, as long as Heserion joined the ranking match and won ten one-on-one battles, she would automatically qualify for the elimination round.
Even more ridiculous was the fact that even if Heserion lost all ten matches, she would still be in the top 512—this was the advantage of a high rating.
What’s more, to the surprise of the competition organizers, netizens even started setting up their own fan sites for Heserion on their own.
It seed that before the competition even started, Heserion had already beco the most popular familiar in the human federation.
At that very mont, Holt returned to Snow Dragon with his attendants.
He was walking down the street when he saw a lot of posters of Heserion posted along the way. His face instantly turned dark.
One of his attendants quickly pulled down a poster and handed it to Holt.
When Holt saw the words [Strongest Ghost Assassin] and [Ghost Control Until Death] on the poster, his forehead veins popped out, and even his fingers holding the poster turned pale from how hard he was gripping it.
He threw the poster away and imdiately grabbed his phone, searching for Heserion’s rating video.
After watching the video and seeing how Heserion used the sa trick to kill ten monsters, Holt felt like his heart was bleeding.
He had not only handed this A-grade familiar to Logan, but he had also given him a precious [Purple Space Crystal].
In anger, he thought about how Alex must be feeling right now, and he imdiately started shaking with fear: "Damn it, co on, I need to go apologize to Lord Alex!"
At the sa ti, Fischl, Yura, and Tracy arrived at Star Lake.
Along the way, they were all watching the videos of Heserion. As won, they were all drawn in by her beauty.
"Fischl, this Heserion might even make it into the top ten." Tracy said while watching the video, muttering to herself.
Yura followed closely, typing away on her phone. She had already beco the owner of several Heserion fan groups.
Fischl had already watched Heserion’s rating video before.
Unlike others who focused on her looks, Fischl cared more about her strength. "This Heserion is really powerful. She has the potential to beco one of my Black Church Sacred Beasts."
As she spoke, her phone suddenly lit up with a ssage from Vincent: "Your fake identity has been prepared, and it won’t be discovered."
Fischl smiled and opened the official Federation familiar ranking competition registration link. She quickly signed up.
Yura happened to catch what Fischl was doing and blinked: "Fischl, are you signing up too?"
"Sure, this looks like a lot of fun. I want to give it a try." Fischl said, then turned and walked away.
Tracy noticed Fischl was going the wrong way and said: "That’s not the way to Star Lake."
Fischl shrugged and said, "I know, but I need to go get ten videos first to apply for a familiar rating."
Tracy and Yura looked at each other, sighed, and followed Fischl and the Blood Blade mbers away.
anwhile, in teor City, at the Corleone family’s ancestral ho.
Evelynna carefully placed her hand on the forehead of an angel statue.
Soon, the statue reacted. A stream of holy light ca down from the sky, focusing on the wings behind the statue.
With each holy chant, a beautiful lody filled everyone’s Soul Sea, like music from the heavens.
Evelynna prayed with deep respect, and her ntal Power grew stronger.
"Co down, Great Archangel!"
With a soft cry, the angel statue she was touching began to crack. Cracks quickly spread all over the statue.
As it cracked, pieces of stone and dust fell off, revealing a pure white body and feathers underneath.
Soon, a beautiful and powerful six-winged angel stood before Evelynna.
She looked at Evelynna and frowned. "You, a Corleone descendant, are not pure. Calling here is a disgrace."
Then, the Archangel raised her hand to push Evelynna away, trying to stop her from making a familiar contract.
But before she could act, an old voice said, "Kafka, for the sake of your mother, help this girl."
Hearing the familiar voice, Kafka looked up and locked eyes with the old Corleone. She paused for a mont. "It’s you. Let see my mother!"
The old Corleone coughed lightly.
Then, a powerful twelve-winged angel appeared behind him, like a god.
"Mom!" Angel Kafka instantly turned into a flash of light and rushed into the twelve-winged angel’s arms. "I missed you so much, Mom."
The twelve-winged angel gently patted Kafka on the head and said, "Go help Evelynna. There’s a hint of your sister in her."
"What! That dirty woman actually made a contract with Diana?" Kafka looked at Evelynna with disgust, her eyes full of contempt.
Evelynna saw that familiar look and gently rubbed her temples, muttering: "You should be lucky I brought you to the human world. The last one who acted like that ended up with PTSD."
Hearing that, Kafka’s eyes turned cold imdiately. "Where’s my sister Diana?"
Evelynna sighed and smiled. "She’s gone."
"Gone?" Kafka’s face darkened. She imdiately summoned her angel sword and pointed it at Evelynna. "Give a good reason."
"There’s nothing I can do. Your sister can’t stand it if she’s not beaten up every day," Evelynna shrugged and said honestly.
Kafka heard that and swung her sword, aiming to cut off Evelynna’s head.
But Evelynna’s body just lted like a reflection on water. After being cut, she instantly returned to normal.
At that mont, Sielelf appeared in front of Kafka and smiled. "Don’t waste your energy. I know all the moves of angels."
Suddenly, a soft hand from the twelve-winged angel rested on Kafka’s shoulder. "Diana was punished for her pride. I hope you can learn from her mistake."
Hearing her mother’s words, Kafka turned to look at the old Corleone. "I’ll help this dirty holy girl, but I only accept a temporary servitude contract."
Hearing that, the old Corleone laughed and nodded. "No problem. You two get to know each other quickly. I’ll sign you both up for the Federation Familiar Ranking Competition."
After saying that, the old Corleone收回 his familiar and left the scene.
Now, only Evelynna and Kafka were left. Kafka broke the silence first. "Tell about Diana."
Evelynna patiently explained the bond she had with Diana, and also told the story of the conflict between Logan and Diana.
When she learned that Evelynna had given Diana to Logan on purpose, Kafka looked angry. "You really deserve to die."
Evelynna rolled her eyes. "To be honest, it was Diana who chose Logan. Isn’t that right?"
Kafka heard that and let out a cold snort.
The angel race did have a way to break a contract. Since Diana was still with Logan, it ant she liked it that way.
Thinking about this, Kafka stomped her foot hard and secretly cursed Diana for embarrassing their family.
Evelynna looked at Kafka’s proud attitude and laughed. "You two really are a lot alike."
Kafka sensed the sarcasm in Evelynna’s words and snorted. "I’m not as weak as Diana."
Evelynna saw that Kafka was being stubborn and didn’t explain further.
In the past few days, the old Corleone had seen Logan’s potential and forced Evelynna to build a relationship with him.
To create a chance for them to et, the old Corleone even got her a angel as a familiar and signed her up for the Federation Familiar Ranking Competition.
Thinking about all of this, Evelynna gave a self-deprecating smile and started ditating.
At the sa ti, on the small island in the center of Star Lake.
Jessica stared at Logan in surprise. "I also have to sign up?"
Logan nodded. "Of course. Old Tattalia told the rewards in this competition are huge. They’re things you only find deep in the lost world. The top eight get sothing you definitely can’t miss."
Jessica looked embarrassed. "But I haven’t even trained Diana much, and I’m still at the Elite level. I’m worried..."
Before she could finish, Logan snapped his fingers and hit her on the forehead. "Stop talking. You need to break through to Master level as soon as possible. Spend more ti at the rituals. I’ll pile resources on you until you beco a Master."
