Under the shining stars and bright moon, two won sat atop a great tree. A carved wooden table set with all kinds of tasty-looking als spread before the pair.
Gentle tendrils of smoke rose from the freshly cooked ats, soup, stead vegetables, and other als. However, the course that caught Bea's eye was the fruit-covered cake at the table's center.
"What's the occasion?" She asked with a cunning smile while glancing between the cake and Sera.
The Angel just shrugged and began gathering food onto her plate...
"It's such a beautiful night. There aren't even clouds covering the stars and moon. Also, it's our second date, isn't that cake worthy?"
Bea chuckled and shook her head. She began piling food onto her plate as well...
"Hey, I'm not complaining. I can't even rember the last ti I ate cake. We should do it more often, for example, on birthdays!"
Sera snorted and stabbed her fork into a piece of at. She lifted it to her mouth when she noticed the pull of Bea's mouth, a clear sign of annoyance.
"What? You were serious?" asked Sera with a lighthearted chuckle, which made Bea glance away in sha. "Bea, I don't even rember my own birthday! I can barely recall fragnts of my childhood!"
"After everything we've been through, my mory couldn't keep up with the hundreds of life-changing experiences, and I forgot many things along the way. But let ask you... When were you born? What's the exact date? Or better question... do you know how many years have passed since we t?"
A thoughtful expression appeared on Bea's face. She tried finding answers to all of Sera's questions, but she was right. Their eventful lives devoured all their seemingly useless mories.
"I was born in Autumn, but I can't recall either the month or the day... Also, we t about seven years ago? Maybe eight?"
Sera chuckled again as she leaned back in her chair...
"Sorry, but you're wrong. It hasn't been a full five years since Havel. It feels much longer, but that's just our perception of ti's passing... For , it feels like decades had passed..."
Her expression beca bitter, a sad smile stretching along her lips. She turned towards the bright moon, and spoke, her voice barely louder than a whisper.
"Do you rember them?" She asked while turning back towards Bea. "Your family? Your friends? Can you recall their faces? Their voices? Their nas? What you joked about daily? What mories you shared?"
Before Bea could've answered, Sera glanced away once more. This ti she stared towards the endless dark, star-filled horizon.
"I can't rember them. Other than linda, I forgot all my past friends. They appear as soundless blobs in my mory... I sotis recall flashes of mories about my parents, but they're always silent, and their faces are less apparent each ti... I'll probably forget them soon too..."
A deep, exhausted sigh reverberated across the table as Sera's eyes glanced around the starry sky. The tiniest breeze passed through the great tree's top, causing the candles to dance and flicker.
"Do you think I'm the sa person? The core personality is nothing but the culmination of experiences. If I forgot my childhood and everything that built into this being, would I still be the sa person? Am I still Seraphine?"
Upon hearing the existential confusion in Sera's words, Bea couldn't sit in silence anymore. She reached across the table and grabbed her partner's trembling hand.
"You're stupid, at least in your way of thinking. Humans and personalities are a lot more complicated... I think of every newborn as a blank canvas, waiting to be filled with colors. So colors are harsher, while others are bright, and many are bleak and boring...
"After the canvas is filled with color, it'll never be blank again! You never remove the paint, the colors. You simply paint over them, creating new images, combining the beauty of the old and fresh colors!"
Bea stood up and walked to Sera's side, while her hand grasped the Angel's pale one gently yet firmly. The small shakes spreading across her limbs stopped as Bea kneeled beside her chair.
"Your canvas isn't blank, but the experiences and traumas you've suffered painted over the previous innocent picture. It created soone else. A battle-hardened leader who fights armies to save her people! Soone who would sacrifice herself to save her friends without a second thought!"
Sera's golden-green eyes stared intently into Bea's greenish-gold ones. Both pools of divine coloring reflected each other, and, strangely, in their vision the entire world dissolved into darkness.
"How does my current canvas look in your mind? What colors make up its surface?" asked Sera after a mont of silence.
"It's covered in gold and white. The paint is still fresh, hiding layers of black and blood-red beneath. There are probably plenty of blue and silver too, each a mark of your long journey."
The Angel smiled gently and leaned a bit closer to Bea. She then asked in a whisper, "What about green and brown?"
She glanced pointedly at Bea's hair and skin, while her smile turned into a grin. Bea's face caught a hint of red as she blushed from the implication behind Sera's words.
"There's so green and brown too. You're closely connected to nature after all!"
"What about a brighter shade of red and pink? Like the colors of love and care! Do I have those?" She asked while leaning even closer to Bea.
The magnificent woman's own lips stretched into a smile as well. She moved into a squatting position, placing her head a few centiters closer to Sera's.
"Most likely. You love quite a lot of people after all!"
"Yeah, like Vicky and Nick, my beautiful children!" said Sera, her head continuously closing the distance between herself and Bea.
"Anyone else?" asked Bea while leaning ever closer to the Angel's heavenly face.
"Let think... I guess I love Jo as well; she's such a cute girl! I love Henry too; he's such a great catch for Vicky!"
Bea furrowed her eyebrows, feigning annoyance...
"Just the four of them? Aren't you forgetting soone?"
Only centiters separated them when Sera glanced away with a thoughtful expression. A mont later she turned back, a cunning smile stretching across her lips.
"I also love all my friends." She answered, which prompted Bea to continue, "Don't you love any of those friends a bit more intimately?"
Their noses brushed against each other. Through their open mouths, they breathed the sa warm air, while they struggled to keep eye contact, as their vision kept jumping to each other's full, succulent lips.
"Maybe," Sera's voice trembled as she barely held herself back. "You'll receive an answer, depending on how well you kiss!"
With that, both won moved their heads forward. Their closed lips pressed onto each other, while heavy, warm breaths escaped their noses. They shut their eyes, enjoying the sweet taste and relief flooding through their bodies.
Sera held the back of Bea's head with one hand, while Bea held Sera's. Their other hands locked fingers, further enhancing the long-awaited experience.
The kiss lasted a few long seconds until Bea pulled an inch away, leaving Sera breathless. She pouted in annoyance, her thirst for Bea's lips unsatiated.
"What's your answer?" Bea asked seductively.
The Angel's hand moved down to Bea's back, pulling her body closer. Her gleaming eyes stared into her partner as she whispered onto Bea's lips.
"I'll need another sampling before I can make a well-inford decision!"
Bea didn't wait a single mont. She stood up and, while bending down, pressed her lips back onto Sera's. Her long brown hair fell into the Angel's face, each strand sending ecstatic shivers down her spine.
This ti, the kiss lasted a lot longer, but eventually, Sera pulled away this ti. Bea tried following her lips, but Sera pressed a single finger on Bea's mouth.
"I've made my decision. I think there's another person I love... Soone who stayed by my side, even when I abandoned her. A magnificent lady, whom I would sacrifice anything for. A beautiful duelist, who makes my heart flutter... I love you, Bea..."
The magnificent woman pounced onto her prey. She kneeled on Sera's chair. Her legs pressed close to Sera's, while her waist brushed against her partner's stomach. Their breasts squeezed against each other as both of Bea's arms wrapped around Sera's back.
Their lips opened as they t. Hungry tongues battled and explored each other's mouths, tasting every bit once, then twice, then a few dozen tis.
One of Sera's hands held her lover's cheek, pressing her head and mouth as close as physically possible. The other made lazy circles along Bea's back, reaching further down with each movent.
She stopped at Bea's lower back, unsure if she should continue. Her lover, however, couldn't wait a single mont longer. Her body burned hot, and she needed every bit of relief.
Bea grabbed Sera's hand, then lifted her skirt and placed the pale palm onto her bare butt. Reflexively, Sera squeezed the firm, round surface, which made Bea moan straight into her mouth.
Sera also grabbed one of Bea's hands, and pushed it under her dress, right atop her full breast. Bea gave a few squeezes, each making Sera moan more powerfully.
They continued teasing each other until their kisses beca even hungrier. Their tongues pressed close and made circles around each other, while continuing to explore their partner's mouth.
Their moans beca louder as Sera's other hand grasped Bea's other butt, while both of Bea's hands held each of Sera's breasts.
Eventually, loud screams escaped both won's lips, as the teasing beca overwhelming and they both ca. However, the night didn't stop there.
After dinner, they continued kissing and teasing, yet neither even tried touching the other's most private parts. They silently decided to go a step further another ti. For now, the kisses were enough to calm each other's burning desire.
