Yin Hu rubbed his burning face. He could already feel the heat rise as he imagined the couple staring at his wild movents. It took a mont before he was ready, eventually he took a seat on his comfortable, lounging chair and grabbed his spacial bag, placing it on his lap. He leaned back and got into a comfortable position. This would probably take more ti than he expected, just like all the other searches that he had previously attempted. Mostly because he was worried that he would eventually give them the wrong item, so he took his ti to make sure it was the perfect option available.
Even if he wasted a ton of ti on nothingness and staring at different nas. Searching for nin-physical signs and feelings he got from the items in hopes he could get a sense of how Demonic they were. That ant overthinking all of the manuals and techniques he had access to.
Yin Hu let his senses enter the rice bag and imdiately began his search. There was no ti to waste.
He wanted to finish this process before the girls were done with their cultivation session.
Unlike before, he started from the very beginning of his inventory and made his way up from the smallest, most insignificant pieces of bronze coins all the way up to the very end of his bag where the most dangerous items including his DragonsWrath and the latest black brick rested. The first step in his process was a quick overview of everything he saw and whatever he found that was of interest to him and applicable to Shui and Jun. Picking and choosing even manuals that were distantly related to what he was looking for.
That ended up with over two-hundred and fifty different manuals that fit the description. Yin Hu kept true to the information he got from the compendium as he selected adjacent elents including the two main ones of Wood and Spirit. Of course, there are few among the items in his bag that were simply too far off to be considered adjacent items. He would not have looked twice at them in most circumstances, but he wanted to make sure he covered all his bases.
All in the hopes to trigger his system into prompting more information. Yin Hu pulled out the first manual, praying it would work. He had high hopes for it to react simply because it did not directly involve him. Rather, it had much to do with his disciples instead. All functions that dealt with his strength and abilities were all sealed and broken by the system, faulty one way or another. Yet, anything that was prompted for Jun and Shui seed to work quite fine.

Yin Hu was quick to select the ‘no’ button. He did not need the manual in his hands to suddenly disappear and go to waste. The mory of what had happened to the Fire Snake Cultivation Manual when he tested this function out was still strong. It had only been a couple months since his arrival and the earlier days of his arrival in this cultivation world were so of the strongest.
He rembered being terrified of Dong ZhenKang at first. A real life cultivator.
Not anymore. Yin Hu was confident he could beat the Bandit Boss if it was required of him to fight the man. He couldn’t believe he had thought himself so weak when he had clear evidence that he was physically superior to anyone he had t so far. They may have an advantage with Qi, but what good was that when brute force would cave their skulls in anyway.
The Fire Snake Cultivation Manual had turned into motes of light before it vanished and prompted a ssage from the system. Only for it to be locked behind the broken areas that he had no access to. Forever sealed and unable to be used. It was a waste of even the smallest, most useless cultivation manuals.
He could sell those pathetic things and earn him so coins. Even if he probably never needed it during his stay on this entire cultivation planet, his rice bag was full of mountains of silver, gold, and bronze coins. If he couldn't use his currency, he could just sell one of the world's shaking weapons and earn an equal number of mountains within monts.
Or maybe he could start a massive library of his weakest manuals and earn himself so prestige. Grow the Hu Clan and Sect na far beyond its greatest heights.
Maybe we should make our way to the original Hu Clan mountain. That’ll probably an I need an army of disciples to free it from whatever Demonic Cultivators conquered it. But it would be cool. Wonder what Shui and Jun would feel like to get a chance to go back ho?
Yin Hu couldn’t help the smile on his face as he imagined the girls laughing and sobbing from joy as he began his search in earnest, taking out one by one and putting them back into the inventory once he was positive that they weren't the best option. His mory helped him categorize every single manual into one of three different blocks. Separated within his inventory so he didn’t flood the area with easily damaged scrolls and parchnts. It seed like they had a propensity to use the most fragile items to write on.
The three blocks were: Great, Good, and Terrible. All based upon how close they were to what Shui’s and Jun's elents were, the purity, righteousness of the na., and finally his innate sense and feel of the manual itself. Anything that sounded too demonic or evil was quickly thrown out. Again, his process was far more strict as he continued to filter through the manuals.
He eventually settled on three manuals for each girl. One at SSS, one at A, and one at C rank.
Yin Hu prompted the system once more. This ti he ntally focused on Jun and her cultivation needs in the hopes that it would prompt said system to work for her instead of attempting to show its compatibility with him. It was important for this to work or he would be attempting a very dangerous process without enough knowledge. Ever since he learned about the forced ascension process, he had started to worry he would end up triggering it with the weakest stuff in his bag.
C rank should have been very bad considering he had so many SSS manuals and items just sitting there. He needed to figure out if the manuals before him would start another ascension or if that process was even applicable to the cultivation realm.
Yin Hu took a deep breath as he picked up the first of the three in Jun’s pile.

Not only was this the highest purity he had found that applied to Jun, it also had the highest compatibility with her as well. The next best thing he found was an S manual that he had considered burning then and there. Grand Serial Murdering Berserker of the Black Forests Manual was not sothing he wanted any of the girls to even see, much less practice with. That had been at a whopping eighty- four percent.
Yin Hu clicked ‘yes’. He waited with bated breath as the system started going haywire similar to when he had been working with the mutations. A long series of error ssages and static energy filled his screen and kept scrolling for a good 15 to 20 seconds faster than he could keep up with. Yin Hu, who held his breath the entire ti, prayed he had not caused the thing to explode.
Eventually it settled down and provided him with a final answer.

He let out a deep, long breath as relief flooded his entire body. The system finally regained control of whatever happened. Yin Hu should’ve already been Used to the system’s shenanigans, and he was for himself at least. It didn’t feel like he would ever get used to it for the girls though.
Yin Hu continued to test the other manuals as well. He took his ti and let the prompts go haywire for a few minutes. Never pushing it to speed up or to hasten its process. He stayed as patient as possible instead.
Except he learned of a brutal truth one more ti.
Not only did this world have the worst culinary scene he had ever witnessed, but also seems so lowly ranked and ill regarded by the system that none of the three ranks were allowed to be used in this world without so form of advancent to their bodies, souls and minds. The C ranked items were compatible with their Spiritual Roots, but not anything else. Everything needed to reach the proper threshold or the system would force their ascension.
Yin Hu had to figure out how the hell he was going to push the other categories to the C rank.
He could only hope the Compendium would shed so light on the matter.
