Yin sat before a small table in the room with the girls. He took a deep breath. Ti had passed quicker than he expected. It flew by. One mont he had chosen the mutations and the next he was here. Preparing himself.

Worse yet was that he hadn’t even tried to do any cultivating or ditation.

He considered the option, but the tiscales were not right. He wasn’t sure he could break out of a ditative trance any ti soon if he mistakenly fell into one. Yin Hu had gotten close during his session of clearing his mind during the rainfall back at the Silver Mountain Gang’s little town, but otherwise it had been forever.

So he ended up blanking and zoning out. Not intentionally.

Yin Hu, in his imasurable boredom, had thought it was a good idea to relax and focus on his heartbeat. Nothing more. That had been his biggest mistake because he woke up with only a few hours left to the girls system induced unconsciousness

He took a sniff of the room and instantly scrunched his nose. Both girls stank. It was nearly a horrific sll, but teetered at the edge instead. Not sothing he would have allowed them to get to had he not gone comatose for so long. All his responsibilities forgotten and left unfulfilled. Zhong Da and his wife could have literally robbed him blind of the little he did have and been half way across the planet.

Or however far you’d get in twenty so days.

Luckily, the two were righteous, kind, and great individuals overall. Though prejudice…

Yin Hu had walked out of the tent he was in with a rush he hadn’t felt in a long ti. Worried sothing or another had happened while he was preoccupied, but only found the two sitting in front of their own pavilion whispering to one another.

Both snapped their heads to him when he walked out.

He’d let a deep sigh out and returned to getting whatever of his little job done without any hitches. First he made himself a bowl of steaming hot rice and tea. Zhong Da offered so food, ats, and sugary treats, but Yin Hu had to reject him. He’d gone through too much to try anything like that ever again.

No trust remained in his chest for the culinary abilities of anyone that called this cultivation world ho.

Instead, he told them he only ate rice and drank tea. The two’s faces grew and morphed into looks of horror. Yin Hu blanched at their expression. They hated vegetarians? He had not expected it from cultivators, especially one that looked like he probably tried to find the soul and all the other bullshit monks and others like them did.

Yin Hu could have explained the situation, but he didn’t.

He grabbed the entire pot of food and kettle with him as he went back into the tent with the girls.

The consideration of giving so of the rice had crossed his mind, but that turned negative quickly. The married couple had looked at him like he was so kind of monster just because he only ate rice. It wasn’t a choice, if anything he’d be overindulging in cookies and cake this very mont if it was an option he could have chosen.

Alas, he was forced to be a vegetarian that only ate rice. No other vegetables.

Now, there was no way in hell he would invite them over for a al. Judging him for his weaknesses? He knew that no one was perfect, but this almost crossed the line. His food was sacred to him. The most important thing other than the girls currently.

Yin Hu recognized it was petty and almost like personal revenge.

He didn’t really care right now.

There were far more important things to worry about than their judgental glares and lacking bowls that could have had much rice in them. Mostly stuffing his own face.

Yin Hu sighed as he stood up from his seat. He washed his bowl and sent it back to the rice bag then filled Shui’s and Jun’s. Enough that the rice made a small mountain. He expected them to be starving when they woke up. Finally he poured all three of them cups of tea and waited as he watched the system countdown happen.

Please take so ti to recover before any serious battles.

Both girls stirred at the sa exact ti. His broken system refused to wake either one separately. They were on the sa clock. Another disappointnt, but it wasn’t anything noteworthy anymore. He was just feeling extra picky lately doing nothing and not having either of the girls around.

Maybe he had over reacted with the couple outside, but he wasn’t in the best mood.

It felt like he had taken a nap in the evening and now everything felt disgusting and nasty. Like he was bloated or sothing but not quite. It just didn’t settle in the pits of his stomach. Yin Hu would never try to do that again.

Yin Hu felt sothing in his chest as the girls moved more, slowly waking up. He hadn’t realized how much he actually missed their little chaos. Even if he hadn’t experienced much ti without them being awake except the few days before the mutation and the days to pick. But that didn’t an he couldn’t really pick on the feeling in his chest.

That chaotic energy that seed to always be around them as they went about their lives gave his own color, it felt like. The screaming and shouting at every bug Shui seed to make a habit. Jun’s pseudo act of complete and utter control even though her body shivered at the sight of the sa bugs Shui scread like a maniac about.

And …

Both of their stomachs grumbled before they got up. Shui jolted into a seated position. Her hair was an absolute ss and it made her look outright demonic. The bleary eyes didn’t help her case. She slled herself and reeled back. Then turned around to find Jun next to her own bed. She took a whiff of Jun and nearly gagged.

“Don’t do that.” Jun whispered to her. She had woken up too, but was staring at the ceiling instead. Raised her arm and stared at her hands. Spread out her fingers like they had grown or were shorter. “I feel different? I feel strange. Why?”

“ too.” Shui agreed.

Neither one of them seed to notice him sitting there with two smoking bowls of rice. Yin Hu made a ntal note to work on that soon enough. What if he was so monster or worse, another Demonic Cultivator after their heads? Would they die without knowing what happened? Their senses need to be worked.

How? Yin hu wasn’t sure.

“We can figure everything—” Yin Hu said, but he was cut off by both girls screaming and jumping in their beds. Shui nearly toppled over.

They snapped their heads towards him, wide eyes and prepared for a fight. Jun was trying to secretly find her sword before she noticed it was him. They let out relieved breaths, a nervous laugh. Then gave each other a knowing look he couldn’t understand. So form of silent communication seed to pass through them that he failed to pick up on.

“—after a al and most definitely a shower. Now. Get!”

Both jumped out of their beds and rushed to the table. Yin Hu got a good whiff of them without the bedding to cover the real stank. Even he gagged as the girls stopped in their tracks and copied him. It was absolutely rancid.

“Maybe we should take a really long shower and scrub hard before we co back and take a bite?” Jun said, she scratched at her head only to finally notice the state of her hair. “H-How long have we been unconscious, Acnestor? Why is my hair so…?”

“We can talk after your shower and the al. There is much we will need to discuss and deal with soon enough. Which includes a new training regint to make up for lost ti. Can’t have you slacking off after all.”

Shui groaned audibly.

“It is our greatest pleasure to be trained so rigorously.” Jun said as she bowed and headed towards the back.

The little girl’s shoulders sagged as she gave a longing look to the bowl of rice before finally running off to follow Jun to the shower. The pavilion had its own setup. Perfect for this situation with the oddly modern anities it had.

Only thing missing would have been a modern day bar of soap.

The one they had in the pavilion had rocks in them. Yin Hu wanted to give them one of the ones he had in the rice bag, but that would not have been wise. Not when they had strange evil and demonic feelings to them. Everything seed to be too dangerous in his bag. For what reason exactly, he couldn’t figure it out. Other than that it was that way.

Yin Hu just needed to work around it.
