Ancient Being Predecessor of the Primordial Era Book 1: Chapter 28: Head Slamming and Water Grabbing
Both Jun and Shui played their back and forth. Jun acted as the sad, defeated older sister that lost all of their racing ability and Shui was fully convinced she had hurt her feelings. It wasn’t until Jun forgave her did the little girl stop. Insistently bothering her to say the words of forgiveness.
Yin Hu watched the entire scene with a slight smile. He knew his beard and mustache covered it completely and kept his air of mystery about him. A stoic ancestor. Beyond the re gas of the mortals and lower realms of cultivation.
Wasn’t that what was expected of him.
Or was it to beco a golden goose that fed entire clans with his wealth with nothing in return. Just fake head scraping along the floors and a few nice words. Nothing else. Maybe for so it was worth it, but not Yin Hu. His priorities and desires laid in a different direction.
The two girls finally turned to him. Attention locked.
He’d already shown them what he was capable of. Their doubts were eliminated. Any questions or concerns they could have had were either turned into dust or thrown so deep into their dungeons they would never escape. They had full belief in his thods and systems.
Yin Hu pulled out the Compendium. A clear sign it was ti to get down to business.
Shui and Jun bead. Unawares of what was about to happen to them. He felt bad, just a little bit. They preened at how smooth and gorgeous their skin had started to look. How silky their hair had beco. Lashes growing longer. And a hundred other girly things he couldn’t wrap his head around. Whispering to each other. Giggling.
Imma need to start exploring the little bandit town once the process starts. Escape the stench and filth. Give them space.
He made sure to read every single part of the chapter and necessary parts this ti around. Making sure to pause at all tiny fine print. Rereading anything that confused him even slightly. All the while he started pulling out the necessary items.
It wasn’t as much as before, nor were there such a large variation of items. The exact opposite of what he was expecting. It was mostly multiple doses of the sa dicines, pills, and very specific lotions and baths. Two or three tis each separated by days.
All except the body cleansing pills themselves. Those were a single pill each.
Yin Hu frowned as he kept reading. He planned to one day go through a similar process as the girls, hidden away after learning everything by experinting on them. His own two little guinea pigs. But reading more only left him with a bad taste in his mouth.
The girls would take the pills. Circulating the energies and cleansing forces into their core. Which would then direct itself throughout their bloodstream and body. Forcefully cleaning any contaminations. Everything they had been working on loosening and making easier to remove with the countless lotions and baths.
But that was the issue. It required access to an energy source he did not have. There was not an ounce of Qi in his core. Nor could he figure out how to move, absorb, or use it in any way shape or form.
It made him frustrated for only a mont. Eventually ignoring it all together. Disappointnts and foiled plans seed very common to him. Nothing special if another one went into the gutter. Just part of the process.
“Alright!” Yin Hu said. Finally done pulling out items. “The next stage of the process. Body cleansing.”
Jun paled.
Shui started hooting and celebrating. Doing a little jig. Oblivious to what was about to happen.
Yin Hu was surprised Jun had recognized it imdiately. Then again, maybe she had gone through sothing similar already. She was a cultivator after all. Wouldn’t make sense for them to start the process in the negative if they even took the cultivation thing half seriously.
“Ancestor,” Jun shivered. “W-We aren’t ready. I would need to prepare the pools for the blood leaking. Figure out how to mute our screams—”
Shui perked up. “Screams?”
Screams?! Blood?!
“—and then how to protect our spirits from any attacks. Foreign cultivators can take this opportunity to get rid of us…”
Jun continued to ramble about things that were missing completely in the Compendium. Not once had screams been ntioned. Or torturing them in any way, shape, or form. All that was ntioned was the black sludge and the stench.
Nothing else. Had he missed sothing?
Yin Hu let himself analyze the body cleansing pills. A system notification imdiately popped up.
Dragon Lord’s Sky Cleaving Body Contamination Purifying Pills - One of the highest tiers of Body Cleansing Pills. A miraculous drug with no painful side effects, no exposed spirits to foreign evil entities, no torturous screaming, no Qi deviations, and no blood draining necessary.
He let out a silent sigh. Making sure the girls could not figure it out. Instead, he let his chin rise. Arrogantly looking at Jun.
“Do not compare your ancestor with such buffoons. I am not them. They are not .” Yin Hu said and imdiately raised the Compendium to hide his face.
Never noticing Shui’s and Jun’s reaction.
Yin Hu jumped slightly as sothing slamd onto the floor in front of him. He peeked over the Compendium. Jun had smacked her forehead onto the solid porch. Cracking it slightly. Her head was perfectly fine however.
Holy shit! How strong is her cranium?!
Jun slamd her head on the ground again. “Forgive , Ancestor! I will endeavor to never do it again!” And again.
Both him and Shui jumped slightly with each one. The cracks on the ground grew. Jun stayed there for a bit longer. Before finally rising with a small red spot on her forehead. Nothing else. Not even a drop of blood or a welp. Just slight redness.
“As long as you know.” He cleared his throat, deciding to move the subject forward and not focus on her red forehead. “Jump into the bath tubs. You will take the pill and begin to circulate it through your body—”
Yin Hu looked back to the Compendium. Double checking to make sure he had the process right. He nodded after a quick survey.
“—Until it reaches your core. Do you know what to do afterwards?”
Jun nodded. “It should do everything on its own afterwards. Correct?”
He nodded and handed Jun the two pills. Then began to explain the process of everything that ca afterwards. All the dicinal bathes and sequences of pills, lotions, and salves in between each bath. How to apply them. And how consistent the steps were from one bath to the next. Literally repeating steps. Making the process much easier than what they’ve already worked on.
She nodded the entire ti. Eyes wide and serious. Shui was listening intently as well, morizing his every word and movent. Her eyes seed to glow every few minutes for a few seconds but Yin Hu attributed it to the clouds covering and then exposing the sun oddly. It was getting closer to dark and the sun acted weird around this ti of day.
Jun put everything in orderly groups of sequences. Making sure everything was perfectly in line so she made no mistakes.
Yin Hu did not plan to be around. If the Compendium was truthful, which it hasn’t proven otherwise, the sll would be so bad it could kill. A leisurely walk around bandit town wouldn’t harm anyone. At worst, he could act like he was guarding the front gate. Keep clear of them.
At least until they were done cleaning up.
Or it was bearable.
He intended to spray so perfu into stylish and ornate scarves. Cover his face with them and prevent the horrible stench remnants from hitting him. But that would be after a few baths. A quick circuit around the bandit town should buy him enough ti with it turning dark anyways.
He stood up.
“Master?” Jun said. Shui matched her stare.
“I plan to explore the bandit town a little. I won’t be out for long.”
Yin Hu turned without giving them a chance to say anything. Quickly stepping around the greedy demonic tree, giving it a wide berth, and out of the courtyard into the alleyway proper. He locked the gate behind him and took a few steps to get out of view.
He could hear them shuffle about. Getting ready. The two girls stepped out behind him blinking at him. He stared back. Shui closed the gate way in the sa exact steps he had done it. Copying him. She even did his little pause and then moved.
What are they doing? Are they about to follow ?
“A-Are you going that way?” Jun pointed at the direction he had stepped towards.
He nodded. Mind blank.
“We need to get water again. Sa direction.”
Yin Hu blinked at them blankly.
“C-can we co along?” Shui asked. Giving him puppy dog eyes.
Shit! Even this plan failed?! When am I going to catch a break?!
