"Sir, if we feel uncomfortable, let's get on the spaceship first. We'll get treatnt slowly later. I have a hospital specifically for treating your kind of illness; you'll receive free treatnt and a free ward. Don't talk nonsense!"
200 epochs? If anyone survived the last epoch, it's probably just Eno; Fang Jueyu instantly categorized this old monk as a ntal patient.
As for how he knows my na, what's so hard about that? He's seeing my true face now, and given my fa and influence on Earth, there shouldn't be anyone unfamiliar with , right?
"Host, this old man is quite unusual!" Little Eno reminded, "Although he doesn't have a trace of Cosmic Source Power, judging by his life energy, his age probably far exceeds yours!"
"How is that possible?" Fang Jueyu exclaid. Although Earth has developed to this extent, an average human's lifespan is just about 250 years, an ordinary person might live up to 300 at most!
Fang Jueyu is now over eight thousand years old, unless this old man took so dicine! Yet, if he did consu life-extending drugs, there would be a unique energy within him, and this old man clearly doesn't possess such energy.
"Hehehe, you truly have always had a cavalier attitude, I wonder why it must be you!" The old monk showed not a hint of surprise at Fang Jueyu's manner of speaking, instead his expression revealed so admiration.
"It's ? What do you an by 'it's '?" Fang Jueyu frowned, it sounded like this old man knew him well.
"Master, do you know ?"
"More than just know you? I know you even better than yourself and your parents!"
"Impossible!" Fang Jueyu was completely skeptical.
"Before coming here, you went to the cosmic grave, under the alias 'Lin Zhengying', and took care of a group of Transcenders, correct?" The old man looked at Fang Jueyu and smiled.
"Well... If it's people from the Ming Sect or Super God Academy, they should know this was my doing; knowing this isn't unusual."
"Alright then!" The old man smiled confidently, "In the center of your brows once resided the soul will of a formidable being from the Root Universe. I bet no one else knows about that!"
"Whoosh!" A cold chill crept into his heart. Besides Little Eno, Ergou, and Eno, very few non-human entities knew about this!
"I even know that the soul there completely disappeared!"
"If you don't believe , let say a few more things," the old monk began to speak eloquently.
"When you were three, you pooped your pants and got spanked by your father Fang Huai."
"When you were six, you secretly kissed the little girl nad Ding Xinwen next to you in kindergarten."
"Damn! You know that too!" If not for this reminder, Fang Jueyu would've forgotten such distant mories himself.
"You first watched adult films in your third year of middle school, your favorite teachers were Madam Taonoki and Madam Amami, and when you were single, your DIY frequency was three tis a week, you..."
"Stop, stop, enough, enough!" Fang Jueyu's face turned red; if this old man kept going, he'd expose all his secrets, leaving no privacy at all.
Now Fang Jueyu believed this old monk truly understood him, as if he were a tracker throughout his life, even knowing things Fang Jueyu forgot or never paid attention to.
"Not just these, I even know that your return to Earth this ti is to find the last shard of the divine nucleus."
"Who exactly are you?" Fang Jueyu's gaze turned dangerous; if this old man bore ill intentions, he would undoubtedly be extrely dangerous.
"As I said, I've been waiting for you for 200 epochs!" the old man ntioned, "If you insist on knowing my na, you may call 'Nirvana,' in my ti, people liked to call the Prophet!"
"Prophet?" Fang Jueyu chuckled, "If you weren't a monk and beca a sham spiritual leader, you'd make a fortune!"
The old man wasn't angered by Fang Jueyu's blatant sarcasm; he continued in his usual tone, "Don't you feel as though there's an invisible hand behind everything you've gone through?"
Fang Jueyu felt his heart skip a beat; this statent resonated deeply with him. He'd had this feeling for a long ti, could it all be arranged by this old man? But how could that be? It doesn't seem reasonable!
"Interested in hearing now?" the old monk smiled warmly at Fang Jueyu.
"Please go ahead." Fang Jueyu's tone beca much more respectful, even using honorifics.
"Of course, who can live through 200 epochs? Except for the little guy on your shoulder, no one escapes the grinding wheel of reincarnation, and such luck cannot be replicated."
"Then you..."
"I'm not the owner of this body speaking with you now; I'm borrowing his form to converse with you from 200 epochs ago!"
The old man suddenly closed his eyes, but when he opened them again, an indescribable force seed to pull him into another world; Fang Jueyu even sensed his consciousness traversing countless ages, returning to the past.
Suddenly, the space froze. Before Fang Jueyu appeared a magnificent palace, filled with countless formidable beings, and at the center of an altar-like structure, sat an elder dressed seemingly out of place with that era.
His previously shut eyes then opened without warning, and at that mont, two gazes intertwined, the elder looking into Fang Jueyu's eyes, with a subtly aningful smile.
"Whoosh!" Fang Jueyu's consciousness returned to the present place; he realized his legs slightly trembled, struggling to stand firm.
"How could such a thing happen?" Fang Jueyu was still sowhat in disbelief; it was too incredible.
"Of course, achieving such a feat is extrely difficult; I waited 200 epochs to finally find soone with the sa constitution as mine."
"You're referring to this old monk?"
"Correct!" the old man continued, "I was born with abilities to see the past and future. In my era, I led my civilization to the summit of the cosmos, yet when peering into our future, all I saw was destruction!"
"Amazing! If I had that ability, I'd know all the lottery codes each ti!" Fang Jueyu muttered to himself.
"This isn't a happy ability," the old man said, "If you saw your own future, your civilization's future, and the outcos were all grim, would you still consider it a happy ability?"
"Then forget it; I'd rather choose to be an ignorant fool."
"Exactly," the elder continued, "That's why I began exploring the future and past, ultimately uncovering the secret of cosmic cycles, contemplating ways to halt destruction. Yet, we couldn't stop the increase of entropy, which would an everything needs to pause, even life itself!"
"Unless there's a force that can continually inject new energy into the universe, but that's beyond human capability; those entities, we define as gods!"
"Gods..." Fang Jueyu murmured, astonished that such a widely revered but awed term could have existed over 200 epochs ago!
