The Martial Artists guarding the fortress looked at each other, that idea made all of them feel a little uneasy inside.
If ordinary fugitives ca to their Forbidden Land, they were generally quite welco, because even if a Demigod ca, they were confident in their ability to control the situation, at least enough to not disrupt the original rules of the Forbidden Land.
But if soone from the Deity Rich Civilization ca, they couldn’t guarantee that anymore. In fact, if soone like Ben Todeng ca to this Forbidden Land, it might very well be a disaster.
"That probably won’t happen, right? The universe is so vast, he wouldn’t necessarily have to hide here, would he?"
"Exactly, even if he cos here, we have 32 Demigods here. No matter if it’s a Demigod, they’ll be subdued and ultimately enhance our Forbidden Land’s strength, won’t they?"
"That’s true as well, everyone stop overthinking, just focus on doing your own tasks, and make sure not to let soone with an unknown background slip into our Forbidden Land."
...
"Hey, guys, what are you up to?" While the group of Martial Artists guarding the fortress were burning with gossip, another voice ca from afar.
"Haha, we’re talking about the Deity Rich Civilization. It’s said that a fierce individual has co out of that civilization, and the people from the Deity Rich Civilization are searching the entire universe for him!"
"Oh? You all know about it already?"
"Why, is there so connection to him?" asked one of the Martial Artists.
"Exactly, the Demigods just held an ergency eting, and our Forbidden Land also has to take certain asures against this Ben Todeng. As you know, the people from the Deity Rich Civilization are powerful but unpredictable. If they enter our Forbidden Land, that’s definitely not a good thing, and Ben Todeng is probably not a peaceful character even within the Deity Rich Civilization."
"It couldn’t be that coincidental," two Martial Artists said dismissively, "But rest assured, if we see this person, we’ll report it imdiately."
"Hey, anybody around? Did everyone die?" Just as they were conversing, a young man’s voice ca from the outskirts of the fortress.
Two humans, and two creatures that looked like cats and dogs. This combination is already quite common within cosmic civilizations. Not long ago, there was a Martial Artist who entered the Forbidden Land, and it was said he was imitating people from the Deity Rich Civilization trying to show off, only to fail and be pursued. At that ti, he was accompanied by a black dog and a black cat, which created a bit of a stir back then.
In recent years, there have even been so unlawful cosmic vendors smuggling such cat and dog creatures into the Forbidden Land through cosmic logistics, but they’ve gotten used to it.
"That person looks so familiar, I feel like I’ve seen him sowhere!"
"Idiot, that’s Lord Siria!" Another Martial Artist imdiately kicked him, "You don’t even recognize Lord Siria, do you have a death wish?"
"That is Lord Siria?" The face of that Martial Artist showed deep respect and awe.
Though Siria wasn’t stationed at this Forbidden Land, his fierce reputation preceded him. The first ti he ca to the Forbidden Land, he fought two powerful Demigods and held his own.
With his strength, he could easily claim a piece of land in the Forbidden Land and establish himself as a king, living like an emperor without having to deal with the Cosmic Federation’s hunts.
Yet, he chose not to stay here and instead risked the encirclents for the world outside.
However, the 32 Demigods issued a joint announcent, stating that whenever Siria returned, as long as he completed identity verification, he would be treated like any of the 32 and none would dare offend him—this was their way of respecting Siria.
As for the minions, who wouldn’t be terrified upon seeing Siria? After all, before being grood by Fang Jueyu, he was also a renowned figure within cosmic civilizations.
With Siria’s aura present, Fang Jueyu’s existence got temporarily overlooked.
"Lord Siria!" The two Martial Artists imdiately greeted enthusiastically.
"Hmm!" Siria nodded majestically, as if reliving his days of making waves, "How has that More Facetious fellow been recently?"
"Lord Siria, our lord has been doing well, thank you for your concern. Would you like to report your return, to let our lord be aware?"
"No need, I’m not here for him this ti, I have other matters to attend to."
"Lord Siria, you know the procedure, we an no offense." The two Martial Artists cautiously stated, realizing their own bravado still rendered them as re subordinates in his presence.
"Hmm." Siria nodded in agreent, for these were the rules of the Forbidden Land that no one, not even Demigods, could break.
The two Martial Artists imdiately brought out a set of equipnt—an identity verification device composed of breath, spiritual power, and Cosmic Source Power, elents representing a person. Of course, the entire procedure required Siria’s cooperation.
"Thank you for your cooperation, Lord Siria. Your identity has been confird, and you can enter anyti. This is your temporary identity card."
"Mm." Siria received the blue crystal-like card, "The one following is a friend I recently t, you better not slight him!"
"Yes, Lord Siria, we’ll treat him with great care!" Only then did their attention return to Fang Jueyu. For soone whom even a Demigod like Siria valued, he surely must have an extraordinary background. Perhaps he was also a wandering Demigod from the outside?
"Wait, I feel like I’ve seen this person sowhere too!"
"Xiluo, you’ve been here a few million years before —perhaps he’s soone who left here before, nothing to get excited over."
"No! I definitely saw him not long ago," the Martial Artist pondered deeply, "Yes! In a video!"
Suddenly, the pupils of the two widened dramatically—they both thought of it simultaneously.
The scruffy beard, curly hair, headscarf, and robe—this description was an exact match to the materials released by that young Ma Yun from the Deity Rich Civilization about Ben Todeng!
"Don’t get too tense, maybe it’s just a coincidental resemblance?" they consoled themselves, "Look, his realm is just at the Controller level. If a place as rich in talent as the Deity Rich Civilization could be turned upside down by a Controller, that would be too humiliating."
"Right, right, if you hadn’t ntioned it, I might have mistaken him for Ben Todeng."
"Is this your first ti in the Forbidden Land?" a Martial Artist took out the equipnt to register him.
"Yes."
"From which civilization?"
"Deity Rich Civilization!"
"What? Deity Rich Civilization?" The hand of the Martial Artist in charge of registration shook violently, "What’s your na?"
"I’m Ben Todeng!"
"We’re dood, how did Ben Todeng actually co to the Forbidden Land, and through our fortress, no less?" The guards were imdiately a bit panicked inside, each giving a look to the other, signaling to stall him first—anwhile, the news must be reported imdiately!
"You, eh, why did you co here? Did you commit so cri?" The Martial Artist continued questioning.
"Oh, one night I was bored and kicked a fat woman into a ditch as I passed a stinking canal. Who knew that woman was the mother of a Demigod Descendant! I got chased by a bunch of people afterward. During the escape, I founded an organization called ’Pole,’ but I wasn’t lucky and got raided by the Demigods of the Deity Rich Civilization, who shut in for a few years."
"Later, I found a chance to escape, wiped out the Ultraman Five Brothers from the Deity Rich Civilization, broke through the back door of Donghai Kindergarten, and passed the Shaolin Eighteen Bronze n Array..."
Fang Jueyu spoke at great length about his tale and background. Though his stories seed impossible to comprehend, they apparently all related to explosive events.
He indeed seed to be a fierce individual!
