Chapter 472: Chapter 472: Is this old man a fool?

“Hey, old man, which place is about three kiloters in that direction?” Fang Jueyu asked, pointing north of Saint El.

“That should be in the direction of the headmaster’s office. Why do you ask?”

“My detector tells my object is there. Could your headmaster have taken it?” Fang Jueyu speculated.

“Uh…” The old mage thought carefully and realized it was quite possible!

Besides managing school affairs, their headmaster was often wandering outside, as their Saint El was highly secretive. Therefore, all enrollnt activities were personally handled by the headmaster.

The current headmaster was nad Broen, a man over 100 years old. His magic power had reached the fifth-level Magic Master, roughly equivalent to a Fifth-level Source Power User.

He often road throughout the outside world, aiming to discover children with potential to beco mages and find ways to bring them to Saint El. Most of these children were orphans and small wanderers.

Fang Jueyu ntioned that about an hour ago, his object vanished on the island where the school was located, aligning perfectly with the ti of the headmaster’s return. This was definitely not a coincidence.

“Young man, why don’t I take you to see the headmaster? Rushing in recklessly might bring you quite a bit of trouble,” the old mage offered in light of Fang Jueyu providing this batch of high-quality magic wands for the children, willing to assist him.

After all, what Fang Jueyu said made a lot of sense; there wasn’t anything at this school worth coveting. He was probably really just searching for his lost item.

“Hold on to !” the old mage said. “There’s a Magic Transmission Array in the school. We teachers can instantly teleport to most parts of the school with a magic spell.”

“I see,” Fang Jueyu nodded. The ans of teleportation was pretty similar to the transmission arrays of the Super God Academy, except one was scientific and the other magical.

Fang Jueyu held onto the old mage’s arm and felt a strong tug, his mind instantly went blank.

In the center of the school was a building resembling a tall tower, and the headmaster’s office of Saint El was established at the top of this tower.

This room was fully furnished with wooden furniture, where a quill was automatically grading a thick stack of docunts on the desk, and the flas in the fireplace flared vigorously under the automatic puffing of an ancient bellows.

Broen was sitting in a wooden chair, observing a fist-sized teorite closely. In front of him floated a piece of aged parchnt, seemingly recording a similar map pattern.

“There should be no mistake, this is sothing mailed from a cosmic civilization,” he confird. “Unexpectedly, soone on this Earth can connect with a cosmic civilization. Who could it be…?”

“No matter who it is, maybe he’s the hope of Saint El. Hopefully, he can find our school.”

Suddenly, the tower shook slightly, and fine dust from the ceiling fell onto Broen’s desk.

“Such strong magic power, unlike human magical attacks.” Broen was an exceptionally mighty magister. His strength was even above that of Blair’s now. From rely a few kiloters away, Broen could fully sense the power of those previous Magic Cannon blasts.

“Could this person have found his way here so quickly?” According to Broen’s deduction, even if this person could find the school, it should take him a day or two.

As he stood up to go out, a flustered figure slamd open the door to his office and rushed inside.

“Bruce, what’s got you in such a panic?” After living for more than a century, Broen had seen almost everything. He could easily claim to be the most knowledgeable person on Earth, so he didn’t appear panicked.

“Headmaster, a young man broke into the school, and he’s already broken through the gate!”

“What? Broke it?”

He had considered soone might intrude into the school. For soone connected to cosmic civilization, he wouldn’t be surprised if they broke through that lake. There are many ways even a non-mage could crack such magic if they put their mind to it.

But the gate wasn’t sothing easily broken!

Broen was extrely confident in his magic. The reinforced gate was not just bolstered with magic power; it included so powerful magic restrictions and tools that even a seventh or eighth-level magister might not easily overco!

“Don’t panic, speak slowly.”

“Yes, headmaster,” Bruce took a deep breath, then recounted what had just happened, though he left out his provocative behavior toward Fang Jueyu.

“Magic Cannon, and red magic ore?” Broen was slightly surprised. Possessing such items, this person’s origin was by no ans simple.

However, upon reflection, the Earth’s relics are naturally very few. How could one easily find a Magic Cannon and such abundant magic ores?

This person likely found another civilization’s ruins, or he had ans of obtaining these things from cosmic civilization.

Considering the mail delivery, the latter case was more likely. Maybe he actually had a way to solve the current problems the school faced!

“Co on, let’s go find him!”

“Headmaster, you…” Bruce noticed that Broen’s face showed no trace of anger. Rather, he seed extrely excited.

It didn’t make sense! The school gate had been blown up; this was obviously an intruder, yet the headmaster appeared pleased? Almost on the verge of bursting into laughter?

They’d barely stepped out of the headmaster’s office when, with a wave of spatial energy, Fang Jueyu and that old mage appeared in front of them instantly.

“Ugh!” Fang Jueyu retched a couple of tis. Even the Super God Academy’s teleportation device wasn’t as nauseating as this teleportation magic of Saint El’s.

“Headmaster, it’s him!” Bruce pointed at Fang Jueyu and said, “He leveled our school’s surrounding lake and destroyed the school gate with a Magic Cannon!”

“Lys, how could you bring such a dangerous person here?” Bruce questioned the old mage.

He shook his head, and the dizziness slowly faded. It was just then that his eyes fell on Bruce and Broen. In the older mage’s hand, he saw, surprisingly, his package!

“That’s the item I’m looking for!” Fang Jueyu exclaid excitedly, pointing to the teorite.

“Headmaster, this…” Lys, the old mage, was at a loss for words. It seed their headmaster had indeed taken Fang Jueyu’s item without permission.

“Headmaster, this person is formidable, he mustn’t leave the school, or our Saint El’s existence will surely be exposed!” With the headmaster present, Bruce seed much more confident.

“You, shut up!” Unexpectedly, the headmaster suddenly grew furious and pointed a wand at Bruce.

“Mmm, mmm, mmm, uh, uh…” Bruce found his voice suddenly silenced.

“Young man, I am Broen, the headmaster of Saint El school. I apologize for my teachers obstructing you earlier!”

“Huh?” Fang Jueyu was taken aback. Wasn’t this the mont when the big boss shows up for a confrontation? Wasn’t the headmaster about to fight him?

Even if it was to negotiate, this attitude seed way too humble, didn’t it?

Fang Jueyu looked Broen up and down, “Is this old guy dim-witted or what?”
