Chapter 460: Chapter 460: Cosmic Slave Fair

“Man, there’s an expo like this? It’s outright human trafficking!”

“What’s there to be surprised about? In cosmic civilizations, slave trading is all legalized,” Fang Huai said, “This Cosmic Slave Fair only happens once every thousand years, and I’ve never encountered one in my lifeti, so consider yourself lucky!”

“So… where is this Molal star system?” Fang Jueyu asked. Humans hadn’t even contacted any extraterrestrial civilizations, and the thought of him suddenly visiting another one was quite overwhelming.

“Hmm… let see, it’s about 470 million light-years from Earth!”

“Whoa, that’s so far!” Fang Jueyu exclaid. Such a vast distance, even light would take 470 million years to travel.

“What’s there to be afraid of? You can just buy a spaceship and fly over when the ti cos, no big deal!” Fang Huai added, “Oh, and don’t randomly wander around until you’ve advanced to be a Source Energy User. Hidden Elenters can’t adapt to most planetary environnts. Only when you’ve achieved the power of a Source Energy User can you barely survive in those civilizations’ environnts.”

“Got it.” Fang Jueyu nodded. He estimated that within a year, his power would reach the peak of Hidden Elenters. By then, the new class at Super God Academy would be recruited, and with 100,000 students, he’d be able to unlock the second-level permissions and naturally break through to Source Energy User.

“Whoa, honey, we’ve caught a big one!”

The premonition device in Fang Huai’s hand suddenly tightened, and he imdiately gripped the rod and began pulling with all his might.

“What the heck is in this sea?” Fang Jueyu, though unsure of Fang Huai’s exact strength, knew it was above a Divine Ability User. For him to exert this much effort, the fish must be colossal, right?

“Splash!” A massive wave erupted from the sea as Fang Huai pulled up a black monstrosity.

“Holy crap, what is this?” Fang Jueyu was montarily out of control, but honestly, this creature looked beyond bizarre.

Its body stretched over a thousand ters long, resembling a whale magnified a hundred tis, with sharp fangs sprouting from its mouth and its head lined with nurous tendrils, appearing extrely nacing.

Despite not sensing the creature’s aura, its massive size alone made it intimidating.

“Hahaha, a Velsk Deep Sea Giant Fish,” Fang Huai laughed, tossing the fishing rod aside, and then flew up, delivering a powerful kick to the creature’s abdon.

“Aargh!” The creature let out a piercing scream. In its presence, Fang Huai’s body was smaller than an ant, yet this ant-like figure unleashed an incredibly fierce power, nearly shattering all the muscles and bones within.

“Bang!” The enormous creature was kicked ashore by Fang Jueyu. It was only then that he noticed dozens of gigantic creature corpses sprawled on the shore, the smallest of which was over fifty ters long.

“Wow, these Velsk Deep Sea Giant Fish are such prized commodities. Their at is imnsely nutritious and energetic, the best ingredients in the universe for feeding pets!”

Fang Huai suddenly whistled, “Tibier!”

“Hmm? Dad, who are you calling?” Fang Jueyu looked around, thinking it sounded like a pet na. Could it be that Fang Huai, aside from getting him a Soul-devouring Beast, also kept a pet himself?

Just then, a creature resembling a pig running on its hind legs hopped over.

“Wow, mom and dad, did you guys raise a Peppa Pig?” Fang Jueyu suddenly felt a bit embarrassed, even sensing so odd looks from those around him.

“What Peppa Pig, this is a high-level Cosmic Beast, no worse than your Soul-devouring Beast, just with a cuter appearance.” Fang Huai pointed to the pile of corpses, “Tibier, dinner ti!”

“Can it eat all that?”

While Fang Jueyu doubted, the “Peppa” suddenly opened its mouth wide, and it seed like a bottomless black hole appeared inside. The giant creature corpses twisted under imnse gravitational force, torn into shredding fragnts, vanishing into the abyssal maw.

“Burp~” The creature let out a satisfied burp, then hopped over to lie at Cao Lan’s feet, snoring peacefully.

“Forget it, I’m not gonna question your weird lifestyle anymore. Let’s get back to business!” Fang Jueyu turned his gaze away from the chubby pig, “How do I get to this Molal star system?”

“Oh, I’ll mail you a ticket and include a smartphone. The universe is so vast, and Earthly navigation just can’t handle such massive data. Little Yi will help you find your way then.”

“Okay,” Fang Jueyu understood his almost god-like ancestors wouldn’t bother with such trivial matters. Perhaps in their eyes, with the family reaching such a level, protecting Earth was just a walk in the park and didn’t necessitate their personal intervention.

“But son, just a heads-up, the universe is not like Earth. Here, any Source Energy User in our family can keep you safe!”

“But in cosmic civilization, powerful species are everywhere, and Source Energy Users are just the civilian class. You have no one to protect you, so try to keep a low profile until you can ensure your own safety or have absolute protection around you. Only then should you flaunt your wealth, got it?”

“Dad, hasn’t our family developed any connections after all these years?”

“Of course we have, but we know rulers of advanced civilizations. Do you think an emperor would bother with the matters of a backwater village?”

“Makes sense,” Fang Jueyu nodded, “Got it. You guys go have fun, I’ll go buy a spaceship.”

“Safe travels, no need to see you off!” Fang Huai waved his hand, shutting off the communication without a hint of reluctance.

“Geez, I’m starting to wonder if I’m even their real son,” Fang Jueyu grumbled.

“Master, this Cosmic Slave Fair is a rare millennial event! Looks like you’ll gain quite a bit from this.”

“Oh? You know about it?”

“Of course, naturally. At a regular Cosmic Slave Exchange, getting a Controller-level slave is already impressive; but at the Cosmic Slave Fair, you might even find Transcender-level slaves.”

“Wow, that’s crazy! If I buy a few Transcender-level slaves, I could rule the universe!”

“Pfft, what are you thinking? You think there’s no darkness in cosmic civilizations?” Little Yi scoffed, “If a Hidden Elenter like you could afford Transcender slaves, do you think you’d walk out of the fair in one piece?”

“That…” Chill ran down Fang Jueyu’s spine. Right, if that were the case, he’d be robbing the fair blind before getting his hands on those slaves. As a re Hidden Elenter, any cosmic civilization expert could rob him blind.

“So master, when buying cosmic slaves, know your limits and don’t flaunt your wealth too much.”

“Got it, I’ll keep that in mind!”

“But that’s for later. For now, train hard because even with wormhole technology, reaching such a distant civilization could take months or even a year. You need to quickly elevate your power to beco a Source Energy User.”
