"Brother, is your dog for sale? I'll pay any price!" Fang Jueyu was just about to leave when a young man's voice suddenly called out to him.

"Sorry, my dog here only recognizes as its owner. I'm not selling," Fang Jueyu refused.

"Wait, you... you're the dean?" The young man, who hadn't seen clearly from afar, now realized that the dog's owner was Fang Jueyu, who happened to live in the sa neighborhood.

"Hahaha, it's ."

"Dean, what breed is this dog? Where did you get it? I want one too!" Earlier, he had watched the spectacle of the dog playing with that Caucasian Shepherd Dog from start to finish.

"Well..." Fang Jueyu didn't quite know how to answer. "Ah, it's just a regular black dog, nothing special. Maybe it's just a bit more agile than other dogs."

"Tsk tsk tsk, the dean's dog is quite extraordinary too." The young man actually believed Fang Jueyu's nonsense.

At this mont, the dog on Fang Jueyu's shoulder lazily opened its eyes and lifted its paw, showing a disdainful expression. If it could separate its fingers, Fang Jueyu would suspect that it was about to flip the middle one.

"Hahaha, sorry, my dog can be a bit haughty and doesn't like it when people keep talking about money," Fang Jueyu laughed.

The young man imdiately rolled his eyes; wasn't he the one always talking about money? Shouldn't his dog have despised him already?

"Alright, if that's the case, never mind," the young man showed a disappointed expression, exchanged so pleasantries with Fang Jueyu, and left on his own.

"Wow, I didn't expect to run into sothing like this just taking a walk with my dog," Fang Jueyu thought with a mix of amusent and annoyance. However, that woman deserved it; if his dog were an ordinary one, it might have been bitten to death.

"Well done, I'll reward you with a sausage later when we get back!"

At the ntion of sausage, the dog imdiately perked up.

"Stupid dog, all you think about is food!"

...

Fang Jueyu retraced his steps, and by then, Bai Ruhai had finished his morning exercise, with a young girl around twenty by his side, likely his granddaughter.

"Xiao Fang, did you find your dog?"

"Yeah, ran into a bit of trouble, but it's all sorted now," Fang Jueyu replied.

"Oh, right, let introduce you. This is my granddaughter, Bai You," Bai Ruhai pointed at the girl beside him. "And this is..."

"I know, Dean Fang. Who hasn't heard of his na in all of Huaxia?" Bai You said with a hint of sarcasm.

Fang Jueyu's fa in Huaxia was soaring, even beginning to overshadow Wang Cong. Among the youth, almost everyone knew of him, but Bai You apparently didn't think much of him.

In Bai You's mind, Fang Jueyu was almost a bratty rich kid who, despite not doing anything outrageous, spent money like a wastrel. Such a person was unlikely to win her favor.

Before getting to know Fang Jueyu, Bai Ruhai had also heard of his reputation and initially thought he was a flamboyant young man. However, after getting acquainted, he found Fang Jueyu to be polite and without the typical faults of wealthy people, unlike the online rumors suggesting he just threw money around.

Hearing Bai You's tone, Bai Ruhai felt sowhat awkward; it seed his granddaughter had a dislike for Fang Jueyu.

"Grandpa, I still have my internship today. I'll take off now." Since the others weren't interested in him, Fang Jueyu naturally didn't see a need to linger and endure her cold shoulder.

"Alright, see you tomorrow!" Bai Ruhai gave an apologetic glance.

Fang Jueyu smiled and shook his head. He didn't hope for everyone to like him.

"Grandpa! Grandpa!" Just as Fang Jueyu had taken a couple of steps, an urgent call ca from behind him.

Turning around, Fang Jueyu saw Bai Ruhai in pain, curled up on the ground, trembling, as if covered with a layer of ice-cold frost.

"What's going on?" Fang Jueyu rushed up.

"My grandpa's old ailnt flared up," Bai You hurriedly searched her belongings but couldn't find what she was looking for. "Oh no, I was in such a rush I forgot the dicine!"

Fang Jueyu grabbed Bai Ruhai's wrist, and a biological current flowed through him into Bai Ruhai's body.

"This... is it a superpower?" Fang Jueyu's expression changed. In fact, superpower was another form of biological current, only affected by cosmic source power, resulting in variations with different characteristics.

Powers of the sa level were slightly stronger than biological currents, but once transford into cosmic source power, their might beca unfathomable, which was why Hidden Elenters were stronger than superpower users.

Inside Bai Ruhai's body lay a dormant cold superpower, perhaps suppressed by his biological current, hence it hadn't erupted. But once it built up for a while, it would result in a severe eruption, devastating to the body.

To completely eliminate this superpower, at least an Innate Martial Artist was needed. But such masters were rare in all of Huaxia, and while their ancient martial family was large, they didn't have the ans to enlist an Innate Martial Artist.

"Why does your grandpa have a cold superpower in his body?" Fang Jueyu asked.

"You actually know about superpowers?" Bai You had always thought Fang Jueyu was just an ordinary rich guy. Their family, too, had unrivaled wealth in the mundane world, so she didn't think highly of him even if he was richer than the Bai Family. Ordinary people were just ordinary people.

But now she finally realized Fang Jueyu wasn't as simple as she'd imagined.

"Answer my question first!" Fang Jueyu demanded.

"My grandpa fought a superpower user from North Arica over ten years ago. The opponent was an ice superpower user. My grandpa injured him, but his superpower seeped into my grandpa's body. Over the years, he's relied on an alchemist's dicine to maintain."

"But I forgot the dicine today, it's all my fault!" Bai You said, blaming herself.

"Calm down. Since you know the cause, there must be a way to help, right?"

"There's a way, but my grandpa is at the Force Transform level. He's been using his cultivation to forcibly suppress the injury, but the recoil requires at least a Force Transform expert to barely contain." Bai You said, "But where can we find a Force Transform expert now!"

The number of Innate experts in Huaxia could be counted on the fingers of one hand. Force Transform and Dan Transform experts were already the strongest in most ancient martial families.

"Xiao Yi, in terms of ancient martial levels, what rank would my biological current be?"

"In terms of strength, it's about Dark Transform level. But the purity of your biological current is high; it should barely compare to Force Transform."

"That's good!" Fang Jueyu quickly lifted Bai Ruhai.

"What are you doing?" Bai You asked, her face full of caution.

"What do you think I'm doing? Didn't you say a Force Transform expert is needed to suppress his condition? I am one!"
