Madeleine Smith, a young lady of 25 years belonging to the great clan of Smiths had a fallout with her father, the Patriarch of the Smiths, a very strong vampire at that. It must be known that the Smiths are the actual overlords of Anbord. From the Smiths, cos the four great families, branch families of the Smiths, then the branch families of the four families also co.
Madeleine being the only heir and only child of the patriarch at that ti, had a lot of responsibilities which she took very seriously. But everything changed when she went through her evolution and her younger brother was born. She evolved into a Dwarf Noble. The Smiths are a family of Dwarfs and Vampires, but there has never been a hybrid before. It is either the vampire genes dominate the dwarf genes, bringing forth a vampire or vice versa.
Her father being a vampire and she becoming a dwarf caused tension between them. He was disappointed and that caused Madeleine pain. A lot of pain.
Then her younger brother was born. Unlike her, he was the so-called genius as he evolved into a vampire just at the age of 7. Her father blinded by whatever he was blinded by, proclaid her brother as the next leader but that wasn't all. He also stopped talking to her. He will et her and pass by without looking at her, like she was air. All this among others caused Madeleine to run away from ho. At that ti too, her mother was going through a new evolution which would take about 30 years or so, so she was unaware of what had happened.
Madeleine ran away from ho and found a place to settle in the capital city of Anbord, Anrita. As the daughter of the overlord of Anbord, she was very rich, and she used her wealth along with her mind to start a small business. She also beca a hunter, gaining more and more from her hunts, from money to strength and power. Just at the age of 18, she was one of the richest people in Anbord. With her wealth, she built a school and through that, she got a lot of subordinates and friends. She also got disciples and one of them was a young feline girl nad Carn Steil, from the Steil family. Madeleine took a liking to her and made her, her direct disciple. Through her, Madeleine beca the Steil family's benefactor causing them to rise up in ranks and beco the representatives of the Smiths and the strongest family in Anbord. The school Madeleine created was what was known as Anbord Mage Academy. But even with all this, the Smiths nor her father, knew what was going on. In fact, they didn't even bother to look for the runaway princess and she stopped caring.
At the age of 20, during one of her training sessions, she t him. White hair, handso, red eyes, fair skin... he was the most handso she had ever seen. In no ti, they hit it off and got into a relationship. Very soon, at the age of 22, she beca pregnant. There young Carn vowed to marry her child if it was a boy and be a big sister if it was a girl. Madeleine found all this amusing and in no ti, she gave birth to the cutest thing ever and strangely, Carn would never let go of her vow. It must be known that Carn was 10 at the ti.
Then it all ca crushing down. She fell seriously sick. But the most heart-breaking part of it all was that the man she fell in love with, run away with all her wealth or so he thought. With that, he who belonged to the Barnes family and hid his identity well, beca its leader developed the Barnes family to higher levels. Out of heart break and pain, she placed a mark of destruction on the man, so that he would never birth an heir of his own. But it backfired as he in less than 3 months, she heard that he married and even got pregnant with his new wife which wasn't the actual truth. The real truth was, he had been having an affair with his fiancée when they were together and so, she gave birth to a child, just two months after Ethan was also born. This child was Trevor.
And then what broke her finally was that she couldn't look after her own child because she was bedridden. All she could do was breastfeed him with help from Petra, one of her disciples and cuddle him, that was all. The best part though was that all her disciples and subordinates had made it in life and living well and they never forgot her, especially the Steil family. They supported her in every way, but she wanted to live a normal life, more especially her child as she didn't want him to be arrogant just because he was rich. And it worked out fine as he grew to beco a good and intelligent child.
Her school was also given to the Steils to manage and Carn, Ethan's serious betrothed was made the principal. Even till date, Carn was still infatuated with Ethan.
When Ethan finally awakened, she felt sothing break inside her and almost instantly, she recovered. All her physical strength recovered. The only problem was her levels. They were there but locked and she had to unlock them, gradually. But when she recovered, she saw it, the path of life of Carn and Ethan and saw the strong rope that bonded them together and knew why Carn was that infatuated with Ethan till date. She was shocked at first, but she got over it. She all this with her path and she saw a lot of ropes attached to her beloved son and Harley who was also infatuated with Ethan was part.
This didn't surprise her much as she knew the myth of Soulmates. Her son had a lot of them for that matter. What shocked her the most was when Trevor visited them after Ethan's awakening and accident and she saw the intertwined strings that connected Ethan, Trevor and her, with her in the middle. aning, Trevor was actually her son in a way. She then traced her destruction mark and saw that it had sohow fused with Trevor after birth when his father touched him. This caused all of Trevor's failures in awakening with awakening stones as the energy was being broken down and converted to sustain his life. When she saw this, she made to cancel it, but her level was now too low, but by so miracle, the mark of destruction beca a source of energy and power for Trevor, helping him use his affinity well and also helping him beco stronger.
Ethan and Trevor's awakening had little to do with her.
Just after Ethan's Tyrant ceremony, her father contacted her for the first ti since she left ho and she did the best thing in the world; she blocked him and changed her contact info. But he found ways to still contact, courtesy of the overlord of Anbord, but she still evaded all contact as she knew what was up.
