Bylur laid Evelyn still body down on a raised bed that had a magically imbued cushion placed within it.

They were currently in the starting area on the first floor of the Verdant Warlord’s Domain. This was going to be the staging ground where they attempted to restore at least enough of the damage Evelyn had done to herself so that she regained consciousness.

It had actually been three days since they entered the separate dinsional space.

While Bylur was left to attend to Evelyn, the others had set off to gather what supplies that they could from within the domain.

Fortunately, the place was filled with abundant resources if one knew where to look.

At this point, Evelyn’s companions had spent enough ti inside that they were already quite adept at navigating the first two floors and finding the hidden chests within where they could exchange tokes obtained from defeating monsters for items.

This had allowed them to gather hundreds of red magic crystals, dozens of purple ones, and two of the very rare silver ones. Though, there were known of the rarest gold magic crystals to be found. Not on the first two levels at least.

They had also managed to pick up so powerful restorative potions and salves that they were planning on using.

It was unclear if these magic items would be of much help, but Evelyn’s companions were essentially just throwing things at the wall and seeing what would stick.

Evelyn may have sohow communicated with Bylur to infuse her with more magical energy, but it was still unclear if this would really be able to help. Evelyn’s injuries were not just of the body but extended to her beast core and soul as well.

"Okay, let’s begin." Lucia said, taking the lead as the strongest among them.

Each of them began laying magical crystals around Evelyn on magic tools ant to extract the energy within.

After that, Bylur administered a few potions that he helped guide into Evelyn body using his life magic, while at the sa ti Aralee applied multiple healing salves.

"Now, Rehni, give us an enclosure so that none of the magical energy can leak out."

Nodding her head, Rehni created a do of tal around them. Sealing them off from the outside.

What they were about to attempt would certainly be dangerous.

Magical energy in too great of a quantity for one to handle was like a poison that could easily beco deadly.

They all knew that Evelyn was tough and had an unusually high capacity for absorbing magical energy, but there was no telling how much she could actually take. Especially in her current state.

There was so risk for Lucia, Aralee, Rehni, and Bylur as well.

Being trapped in the makeshift room as well, if the density of magical energy beca too great, they could end up suffering negative effects as well.

Still, they had to try sothing, and this was the best that they could do right now.

"Let’s begin. We’ll start out slowly and adjust as we go." Lucia said, glancing between the rest of Evelyn’s companions who were wearing resolute expressions.

...

’It’s starting.’

Evelyn could feel a soothing energy flowing through her despite her consciousness being within her inner world.

On the outside, Bylur had just giving her several potions while Aralee was applying healing salves.

She looked towards the glowing manifestation of the Aethersphere, but it made no move to head out yet.

This clearly was not enough for them to begin yet.

A few minutes later and another wave of energy began flowing into Evelyn. This ti though, it was pure magical energy.

For what felt like an eternity and an instant all at once, Evelyn focused on the power and gathered it around her.

The Aethersphere’s communication may not have been particularly great, but it had been able to convey to her what she needed to do.

Going inside of it was apparently going to be dangerous, and it would be necessary for Evelyn to create a shell of magic around herself to protect her very vulnerable consciousness.

Once she had accumulated as much magical energy as she could handle, the Aethersphere began absorbing the rest.

As far As Evelyn knew, the divine item had practically no upper limit on the amount of power that it could contain. It was possible that it could hold all of the magical energy in the entire world and not beco full.

That was simply how far beyond this realm a divine magic device was. Though, it being heavily damaged had severely weakened its power.

"I suppose that it’s ti to go."

Eventually, the glowing purple light flashed three tis. The signal that it was ready of Evelyn to send her consciousness inside of it.

This would be her second ti to do so, but the first had been during a dream and had been more contained as the Aethersphere had dictated where Evelyn would be within in, and what she would be doing.

That would not be the case this ti. There would be no safeguards to protect her from what was inside the divine item that had many of its systems malfunctioning. The possibility that her consciousness would be torn apart was very real.

"No, it’s too late to pull out now. I’m already used to danger at this point. If this is where I et my end, then that’s that. But I won’t stop moving forward."

Before she began, the Aethersphere attempted to convince Evelyn to stop one last ti. In its current condition, if it lost its host, there was a very real chance of it breaking down for good. It needed magical energy to fix itself, but it was unable to gather the substance on its own.

With all of the preparations complete, Evelyn turned towards the representation of the Aethersphere.

Right now, it looked like a wobbling moon about to break apart.

Despite feeling a little anxious despite what she had said, Evelyn put on the bravest face that she could and floated towards the representation of the Aethersphere within her inner world.

She thought that there might be so resistance when she reached it, but with the mbrane of magical energy around her, she slipped inside with ease.
