Even as Evelyn's arm broke apart, she was unable to feel any of the excruciating pain that should have been assaulting her. At this point, she was unsure if this was a bad or good sign, but it did not change what she needed to do.

"He's tougher than I expected. Holding on like so sort of cockroach. But let's see how he handles this." Evelyn said, her tone frigid cold and her eyes devoid of any emotion other than fury.

Above her a swirling mass of dirt, rocks, and foliage had ford as the intense gravitational pull around her sucked everything in the vicinity in.

It looked like a mountain had ford over her head. Displaying a degree of power that was beyond any but the strongest experts in the world. Sothing that Evelyn was not yet capable of producing normally.

However, forcing the Aethersphere to grant her more of its capabilities had brought her unimaginable strength. Yet the cost was her rapidly deteriorating body.

She raised her remaining arm to manipulate the debris above her head and bring it all crashing down on the Deamhain Sect Executive. Even as powerful as the man was, in his current condition there would be no way for him to survive.

"This will be the end." Evelyn said with cold determination as blood splattered over her face as her raised arm tore apart.

Except before she could launch the final attack, she felt sothing wrap around her waist.

When she looked down, she saw Aralee grabbing a hold of her and crying.

She seed to be saying sothing, but the words did not reach Evelyn's ears.

'I can't hear.'

Evelyn then realized that her eardrums had burst. The damage to her body had extended far beyond just her arms, her entire body was seconds away from completely breaking apart.

For just a mont, the imnse power she was wielding wavered, and the waves of magical energy dispersed for just long enough for Aralee to create a magical connection so that the two of them could communicate without words.

"Sister, please stop! You've already done enough! At this rate you're going to kill yourself!"

Evelyn hesitated when she heard her sister's desperate plea.

She then looked up towards the giant mass swirling above her and ready to be unleashed. With one more move she could finish this battle.

"I suppose I can't ignore a request from my cute little sister." Evelyn said, a faint smile forming on her face as she lowered her shattered arm and let it hang limply.

All at once the imasurable power she had been wielding vanished, and the giant sphere of debris above her burst apart and fell down around them harmlessly.

Without the imnse magical power coursing through her, Evelyn finally felt the full brunt of the damage she had inflicted on herself. Her body was a complete wreck. Worse than even after the Tyrannis Union's attack on the Roost.

"Aralee…I leave… the rest… to you." Evelyn said weakly as her consciousness faded.

She then went completely still and fell into her sister's arms. Entrusting her life and the outco of this battle to her.

"Evelyn?! Evelyn!"

Feeling her sister's body go limp and drenched in her blood, Aralee feared the worst.

Fortunately, when she checked Evelyn's breathing and pulse, she was still alive. But her condition was far from great.

Most of her bones were broken, and the ones in her arms had completely shatters and shards had pieced through her skin.

Her eyes, ears, and mouth were bleeding profusely, and her complexion was becoming worse by the second.

Hastily, Aralee pulled out a healing potion Evelyn had created and splashed it on her sister. The effects were imdiate, and she saw so of the wounds close, but it was still far from enough to stabilize Evelyn's condition.

"She is bleeding too much. But there's too many wounds. What do I…"

Having a sudden flash of inspiration, Aralee pulled out what little magical energy she had left and used her montum magic to slow the blood flowing out of Evelyn. It did not stop the problem, but it certainly gave her more ti to work with.

"Co on, swallow it." Aralee said in frustration.

She had applied potions and salves to Evelyn's external injuries, but it was necessary for her to consu a potion to fully repair the internal damage to her body.

Unfortunately, as her sister was unconscious, Aralee was unable to get her to swallow.

"I hope this works."

As a last-ditch effort, she forced Evelyn's mouth open and guided the liquid down using her wind magic. It certainly would not be comfortable and might leave so air in Evelyn's stomach, but it was the only way Aralee could help her at this mont.

"Good, looks like its working. I'm glad she made all of us these high-grade potions. Otherwise, I don't know what I would have done." Aralee said, relieved now that she had at least brought Evelyn to the point where her life was no longer in imdiate danger.

She would need more extensive treatnt, but fortunately, Bylur's life magic was quite powerful after his recent evolution and Aralee believed he would be able to help her once they found sowhere safe to rest.

Now that Evelyn was not at risk of dying, Aralee turned her gaze towards a massive crater in the distance. That was where her sister had monts ago been crushing the man that had pushed them to their limits and nearly killed them all.

Aralee had been entrusted with ending things, so that was what she planned to do.

Yet, before she could fly over and deliver the final blow, the Deamhain Sect Executive pulled himself out of the hole.

There was a wild look in his eyes, and his clothes had been nearly completely shredded.

Nevertheless, he was still alive. He had burned through dozens of talismans and other rare protective items to keep himself alive, but he had managed to withstand Evelyn's crushing gravity.

As Aralee stood frozen in fear, she saw the man say a single sentence. One that sent a chill down her spine.

"I'll be back to finish this."

After that, he dashed away. Using what little remained of his magical energy to accelerate himself.

In that mont, Aralee felt completely helpless. Due to her fear of the man and her nearly exhausted body, she had been unable to chase after him.

A major threat that knew about them had just gotten away. Evelyn's existence would once again beco known to the Tyrannis Union, and they would stop at nothing to hunt her down and retrieve the divine item that lay within her.
