Shen Tian indeed had a good reason to continue a job which was basically useless to him. Even if he himself did not want to do it, it was a good hobby. The Abyssal Void Sect was extrely rich with such lakes, especially in the Ancestral Sect Land.
It was even rumored to have a High-Grade Deity's Lake deep inside the Ancestral Sect Land, in the island where the Abyssal Void Lord personally cultivated occasionally, but it had never been confird so those were rely baseless rumors. Shen Tian did not feel jealous after all the Undying Cycles Realm was extraordinarily rich with Spirit Stones, but he wanted those Deity's Lakes to attract attention away from his mystical 'background'.
Shen Tian was not exactly going to just go around and take out thousands of the quadrillions of Spirit Stones he had in his possession right now, that would be an extrely dumb and rash decision from him. He'd get a few Near Death to Low-Grade Deity's Lakes and dry them only leaving the Deity Root behind.
Unlike outside where the pri state of a Deity's Lake was three thousand years at maximum, inside the Undying Cycles Realm Shen Tian was able to experint with Deity's Lakes to the point a single Deity's Lake with a Near to Death Grade, could produce just as much as a High-Grade one should technically be able to produce.
Feng Hao sighed as he responded. " It was indeed rash of to talk to you like that without knowing the full story. It's just that you haven't really spent ti with us for a very long ti, even Xian Long spends more ti with us than you… That speaks volu for the situation since he is literally thousands of years old!"
Shen Tian had a deadpan expression on his face which was rather noticeable. " Since when did you start to worry about the ntal condition of soone? We spent more ti together in the Tiny World since it was well. A tiny world to say the least? Widen your expectations to this world, Feng Hao." He responded with a chuckle.
Xiao Qing'er looked at Feng Hao with a similar look to what Shen Tian had given him, rely a bit less harsh. She did feel that Shen Tian should interact with his friends a bit more, but as an older being, she could see why he was also making himself busy with various jobs and tasks inside the sect.
"Besides, I feel like we should create a branch of the Five Elental Dragon Sect or the Void Dragon Tower inside the Abyssal Void Sect, similar to a faction I guess. The top inner disciples all have their own factions, besides the two at the top I guess, those two like to be free from responsibilities from what I've heard."
" I see… But why do you want to create a faction?" Shen Tian stared at Feng Hao, although he had a plan to do a similar thing before, after doing his own research he found out that it was just pointless and would eat out a lot of his ti. To fund the faction inside the sect would be tasking to him and just annoying."
Feng Hao froze, unable to think of a response. This whole ti, he was using Shen Tian's perspective to think. Shen Tian sighed as he put his hands over Feng Hao's shoulders. " Listen, Feng Hao, stop thinking about what I would do in situations, just think about what YOU and only YOU would do okay?"
Shen Tian patted him once more before smiling, "Well like I said I have a case to solve, you have a lot of ti to think about what you believe is right and what you should do. Just rember, do not act on what I would do in that situation, be yourself. That's the best advice I can give you as a cultivator who is not used to giving advice."

Old Hao walked into a corner of a narrow road of one of the sect's small city-like constructions. No one noticed the presence of a Martial Ancestor. In fact, no one even knew he was a Martial Ancestor, everyone believed that he was rely at the peak of the Dao of Dragon Realm, he had fooled even the Sect Master.
He disappeared inside the corner of the narrow road, the only thing left behind were white and purple sparks. No one but a single person had noticed the actions of the old-looking man. The silhouette of the person revealed a grin before disappearing into the darkness as if it had never been there before.

Definitely not Old Hao, who had not even noticed that soone was following him behind, he was probably not even expecting this.
anwhile, just a mont after all of this had happened Shen Tian just happened to walk in this area. He knitted his eyebrows as if sothing had happened here that he just could not get his hands around. He shook his head with a sigh and muttered, "Forget it, I have to go and find Xian Yu. A case to solve…"
