Chapter 20: Shen Tian's Fiance.
"So, after a while, I found out so ancient notes, which gave a quite good idea of what I wanted to do in the future, unfortunately I couldn't understand what they ant, but I could get the gist of it through pictures in it."
"After that, I managed to create several projects which gave Glory City, a Scout Division, a better life for the Slums of our city, a new education system for the Holy Orchid Institute, and even beca an alchemist."
The crowd was in awe. No one expected soone so young, soone who was still expected to be playing in the street with other kids, to have done so much for the city, and they indeed felt they were in debt to him.
"And now, after I tried my best to help the city for the last few years, I am proud to say I've done sothing positive for the city, sothing which helped many people in need, and will continue to do so."
"I am proud to also say, I am happy to be a Glory Citizen, and will continue to support our city for the years to co, until we can face the demon beasts at the sa page." Shen Tian finished with a slight smile.
"Shen Tian, Shen Tian!" The crowd started to cheer for Shen Tian, after hearing his inspiring speech, who knew such small boys could create sothing which gave Glory City so many benefits.
After a while, everything cald down, and Shen Tian moved to the Young Generation's section. Most of the people he knew from the last banquet, were here, there was also the boy he felt a weird aura coming from him, only now it was far deeper, if he rembered correctly, his na was Nie Li.
He then had a slight smile, which quickly vanished from his face when he saw his fiance, Xiao Ning'er, she was a rather cute girl, with orange hair, and was rather shy, standing close to Ye Ziyun.
It could be said he and Ye Ziyun were friends, or at least acquaintances, since they had et together several tis before, when he made short visits to the City Lord's Mansion to talk to Ye Zong.
"Hello, my na is Shen Tian, are you Miss Xiao Ning'er?" He said with a calm face, not really willing to reveal his cold personality at the mont, he didn't want to risk pissing off this woman, not like he really cared at the end.
Xiao Ning'er looking at him with a rather nervous glare,"Uhh...Hello?" She said, not noticing the weird look Ye Ziyun sent her.
Shen Tian decided to talk again, since it didn't seem like she was going to say anything, she probably was just too shy, and since she was not sure what kind of a person he was, it was even more weird.
"Miss Ning'er, I am your future fiance." Shen Tian revealed, earning a weird yelp from the girl, and he slightly chuckled. Ye Ziyun had an awkward mont, who was she supposed to support at this mont?
"I don't think you are ready to have a discussion with , Miss Ning'er so I'll have to leave you alone for now, please do not think I'm being a bad person." Shen Tian said with a calm voice, and with a slight bow left.
Xiao Ning'er had a curious expression on her face, she was curious about this boy called Shen Tian…He did not seem like a very bad person, maybe she was in the wrong in the beginning? Perhaps.

Shen Tian returned to his ho after a while, he was feeling a lot of fatigue, it had been a while since he had to deal with such massive crowds, and is body was still not fully grown, which added more fatigue to his ntal state.
He just had to wait for 3 more years to be finally capable of cultivating again, it was really getting hard to hide his inability to cultivate from the rest, who were getting more and more suspicious of it.
His physical strength was at the peak of what most people were capable of reaching in their entire lives, however he needed to show his soul force, and not the other, but he couldn't for now at least.

A year and a half quickly passed, Shen Tian was now eleven years old, autumn had just started to take effect in Glory City, and the wind was incredibly fast and cold, Shen Tian hated this season.
Shen Tian had stopped improving his physical strength, at the peak of the Gold Rank, and was slowly exploring the Undying Cycles Realm, which had a lot to offer besides the slowing of ti, far more.
He had not offered many more projects for Glory City, as they needed ti to solidify what they already had, the Scout Division had grown a lot, and Shen Tian was happy he was one of the owners of the division, owning more than 30% of all the shares of it.
He also had a few more etings with Xiao Ning'er, but none of those showed positive growth, hopefully it would improve when the Holy Orchid Institute year started for him and the rest, like Ye Ziyun and Li Piao, who would rather stare at girls all day.
Shen Tian would not rush anything, if she loved him it was alright, if she did not, then they'd just declare the arranged marriage null, the only reason he was even doing this was because it was his father's legacy.

At age eleven, Shen Tian had also given the Alchemy Association several more pill formulas, which weren't that useful to him anymore, of course it was also only if he got a very decent sum for them, which he did.
His total balance was over one billion Demon Spirit Coins at the mont, and it was still increasing slowly. He was also losing money daily, since he was buying the properties the Sacred Family was selling.
At the mont, Shen Tian was really a very rich person, no one in Glory City personally owned more money than him, he was comparable to the three major families, one on one just by himself, a single person.
The Scout Division was a place a lot of his money was spent on, and he sure did not regret it at all. He was going to join it a year or so after he finished a year or two at the Holy Orchid Institute for sure.
