If any of them turned to be a true genius, then he could claim he was their friend, and thus could go to them when he needed protection or help about sothing. If they turned to be weak and low talented, he'd just ignore them then.

Shen Tian decided to take a rude approach to this since obviously, the only reason Bai Zhi was here was to seek profit for himself and not for others. Shen Tian detested people who did not try to get strong themselves, but just hide under the protection of others, not to ntion this person had a vile personality.
"Hey, why are you being so rude to for no apparent reason?! I just wanted to know your nas, that's all." Bai Zhi looked to be extrely shaless, and despite realizing that they had seen through his plans, he still tried to insist he was a good guy and that he only wanted to know their nas.
He walked in front of Shen Tian, wanting to prevent him from walking forward. His plan totally failed as Shen Tian made him fly away with the slightest contact of their skin. Bai Zhi coughed blood and his face turned pale and white. He was a cultivator at the peak of the Legend Rank and could be considered a Demigod, he did not expect this kind of ending.
Han Bei was purposely trying to ignore what her disciple was trying to do, she similarly to Bai Zhi wanted to know the limits of Shen Tian's strength since among the three he was the only one to have a mysterious cultivation even to her. She could see through the other two's cultivations to a certain degree

Han Bei frowned, "Brat he's my disciple, how dare you treat him like he was sothing akin to a toy?" She questioned Shen Tian, but was stopped by Li Kong, "He only used a strength equivalent to his own strength."
