Theodore paused, letting the weight of his words settle over the students. His gaze, calm but intense, swept across the sea of young faces.

"Your choice here will determine the path you walk for the rest of your life," he said, his tone steady yet commanding. "Think carefully before you choose your major. This isn't just about what interests you—it's about the future you'll shape and the person you'll beco."

He let those words sink in before taking a breath and shifting gears. "Now, let's move on to sothing equally important: the rules and regulations of this academy."

The atmosphere grew tense, the students leaning in to catch every word.

"Since Arcane Academy is committed to producing the next generation of warriors, we encourage duels." His lips curved into a knowing smile. "Testing your strength against one another is part of growth. However," his voice hardened slightly, "all duels must be supervised. Private, unsanctioned fights are strictly prohibited. If you're caught, expect severe consequences."

A murmur spread through the crowd, and Theodore continued without missing a beat.

"If you wish to challenge soone, you must apply for a formal duel through the Student Council. They will arrange the venue and assign a supervisor to ensure the duel is conducted fairly and within the academy's guidelines."

At the ntion of the Student Council, a wave of curiosity rippled through the students. Theodore noticed it and smiled.

"Since we're on the topic, allow

to introduce them."

As he spoke, five figures stepped onto the stage. Three won and two n, each radiating a distinct aura of authority and power. Their uniforms were pristine, their presence commanding imdiate respect.

"These are the leaders who stand at the pinnacle of the student body. They represent discipline, strength, and excellence—the pillars upon which this academy is built." Theodore's voice rang out with pride as he gestured toward them.

Everyone stood beside the vice principal, their gazes scanning the new students with stern, authoritative expressions. Each one seed to embody the power and discipline the Student Council was ant to represent.

Well, almost everyone.

One of them was completely ruining the serious atmosphere.

She was happily waving both hands in Arthur's direction, her bright smile contrasting sharply with the solemn deanor of the others.

Arthur sighed, quickly averting his gaze, feeling the weight of dozens of eyes turning toward him in curiosity. Of course, it had to be her…

She was Emily Ludwig—his sister.

The girl standing beside her, a striking beauty with sharp features and a no-nonsense attitude, elbowed her sharply.

"Emily, what are you doing?" she whispered, a frown forming on her face.

Emily blinked, her smile fading slightly. "What do you an, what am I doing?"

The girl shot her a look of exasperation. "You're ruining the whole atmosphere! We're supposed to look intimidating, rember? Show dominance. And here you are, acting like a child waving at her favorite toy."

Emily coughed awkwardly, straightening her posture. "Ah... well, I just saw my little brother and couldn't help it." Her voice was light, almost apologetic.

The girl sighed, clearly exasperated. "You'll have plenty of ti to talk to him later. For now, get it together."

"Right, right..." Emily muttered, adjusting her expression. Her cheerful smile vanished in an instant, replaced by a cold, stoic mask that could have intimidated even the boldest of students.

The transformation was so sudden and flawless that the surrounding students blinked in surprise. It was as if she had flipped a switch. Arthur could feel the bewildered glances from his peers, but before anyone could dwell on it, their attention was drawn to a voice.

"Thank you, Vice Principal. I'll take it from here," the figure at the front spoke, his voice calm yet commanding.

Stepping forward was a tall, poised young man with an air of quiet confidence. His presence alone silenced the murmurs that had rippled through the crowd.

"Hello, everyone," he began, his voice carrying effortlessly across the hall. "My na is Oliver Hestia. I am a final-year student and the Student Council President. It's a pleasure to welco you all to Arcane Academy."

Oliver's sharp gaze scanned the crowd as he continued, "Let

introduce the rest of your council."

His gaze swept over the audience before he gestured toward the girl beside him. "Standing next to

is Amara Harper, a third-year student and the Vice President of the council."

Oliver continued. "Next, we have Noah Blake, a third-year specializing in combat strategy." He nodded toward a broad-shouldered young man who stood with a quiet intensity.

"Beside him is Scarlett, a second-year student renowned for her expertise in summoning magic."

Scarlett, a tall girl with flowing crimson hair and a piercing gaze, offered a subtle nod to the crowd.

"And finally," Oliver concluded with a faint smile, "we have Emily Ludwig, a second-year student and one of our most promising combat mages."

Emily's face remained stoic, though Arthur could see the glimr of pride in her eyes. She gave a curt nod, perfectly in sync with the aura of the council.

Oliver's eyes returned to the crowd. "Rember their faces and nas. You'll be seeing a lot of them during your ti here. Whether you have complaints, proposals, or issues, everything will go through the Student Council. We are here to guide you, but we also maintain order. Follow the rules, and your journey here will be a smooth one. Break them..." His gaze sharpened, and the implied threat hung in the air. "Well, I don't think you want to find out."

Arthur leaned back slightly in his seat as Oliver continued to outline the academy's rules, his tone professional and thorough.

While the students listened intently, Arthur's mind wandered. He recalled information about each of the council mbers from his mory of the ga's plot.

Oliver Hestia, the second prince of the Hestia Empire. A side character. No significant role in the plot. This being his final year at the academy, he would be preoccupied with his own responsibilities and future. No need to worry about him.
