Riven turned when he felt sothing was wrong, but it was already too late. Zack stabbed him, and at the sa ti, Jake slashed Zack’s arm.
But Zack didn’t flinch when his hand was cut. He smiled—an evil grin. But the grin faded when he noticed that Riven had not scattered into light particles.
Riven smiled and kicked Zack in the chest before pulling out the sword and throwing it aside.
"Huh? How?" Zack asked in shock.
"The island only takes away people whom it feels the attack will kill. The island has all our information, and it knows who would die from an attack.
Your stab could not kill . That was entirely pathetic," Riven said. Suddenly, the blood from Zack’s arm floated up and began fixing Jake’s wound right before Zack’s eyes.
"How did you do that? And how did you know all that?" Zack asked, confused and shocked.
"You don’t need to know all that, now do you?" Riven asked, pointing Twilight at Zack. Zack stared at him in fear and confusion. He finally understood that he stood no chance against the top student of their year. The gap was not just human at all.
"Fine, we give up. We will search for another base," Zack said.
"Hmm, should I just let you go after your class has actually killed so of our mbers? Hmmm, I don’t think so," Riven said and bent down in front of Zack. "I’m really pissed off right now," Riven said and grabbed Zack by the head and lifted him up.
"Enough!" he roared, and all the fights finally stopped. He showed Zack to all of them. "This is your best, your strongest," Riven said. He didn’t say anything more, but the ssage was already passed. Everyone slowly dropped their weapons.
Riven tossed Zack. "Let this serve as a warning to all of you. Coming against or my class will have consequences," he said.
Zack got back on his feet, and they all ran away, leaving Class A, who were now only sixteen in number.
"Losing nine classmates on the first day isn’t a good look," Riven said.
"You can’t help everyone," Mia said.
Since they were done there, they headed for the cabin. They arrived at the cabin. It was a massive wooden cabin, and the golems were already there and waiting for the students.
They were tal golems, earth golems, tree golems, stone golems—more than twenty of them. Riven watched. He didn’t make a move yet. He waited until he was sure that Robert and his group arrived.
A few minutes passed, and finally, he spotted Robert across the forest. Robert waved at Riven. They had about twenty left, which ant they only took a five-person loss.
Now that he was sure the others were here, Riven charged in first. A tal golem caught sight of him and attacked, throwing a powerful punch. Riven flipped and dodged the punch. He landed behind the golem and charged at it, stabbing for one of its joints.
The golem blocked the sword with its arm and attacked with another punch. Riven moved back again and dodged the punch. The fist slamd into the ground.
"Riven, stand back," Sofia said. She pulled out her staff. She started casting a spell. A magical circle appeared in front of the staff. It ford a fireball that shot out and slamd into the golem, knocking it back.
Riven took that opportunity and charged forward. He leaped into the air, pointed the sword at the ground, and used Fla Blast, hitting the golem. The attack knocked it back, and the explosion damaged its body.
Riven landed on the ground and pushed forward again. His sword erupted in flas, and he stabbed the tal joint of the golem, causing it to fall to the ground.
Sofia cast another spell, and a massive fireball ford above it and slamd into the golem, shattering the chest of the golem.
"Thank you," Riven said to Ophelia with a smile. She smiled back at him before her face went back to expressionless, and she started casting another spell. Her staff crackled with lightning. The bolt shot out and hit a stone golem behind Riven, knocking it back.
Mia dashed past him and leaped into the air, stabbing into the head of the golem and shattering it.
The golem fell to the ground and shattered. The class continued to fight. The golems proved to be too weak, and in less than five minutes, all the golems were already crushed.
"That was too easy," Riven thought as he pulled his sword out of the wooden head of the golem. He looked around, and all the golems were already dead.
"That felt pretty easy," Noel comnted.
"Yeah, I kind of expected a lot more," Riven said.

Above the large river that led to the island where the students were, Quin was flying up in the air with his legs crossed and arms folded like he was sitting on a chair.
He whistled a tune while bopping his head to the rhythm. Suddenly, he stopped and looked in one direction. A small black dot was coming toward him, getting bigger with every mont.
Luke finally ca into full view. He saw Quin on the path and, without even thinking, he attacked. He shot out tendrils mid-flight, but the tendrils passed through Quin.
Luke was stunned, but what he had hit was an afterimage. He looked around and couldn’t find Quin.
"You took your sweet ti to arrive here," Quin said, floating above Luke. Luke tried to attack, but before he could barely move, Quin kicked. His leg t Luke in the face so hard that he shot down like a cannonball and slamd into the water, causing a massive splash. When the water fell down, Luke was standing on the surface of the water with a frown on his face.
"Hmm, he survived that? I guess he is stronger than I expected," Quin said. He slowly descended and stepped on the water.
