Lance’s frown deepened when he heard those words. He imdiately grabbed Riven by the collar.

"What the hell did you say to ?" he asked in a threatening tone.

"You would rather turn a blind eye to the fact that their classmate was the one that caused this because you want to look righteous," Riven said and pushed him away.

Riven turned and looked at the others.

"Are we going to do this? Allow so so-called seniors to make us beat up our classmates when they are at fault? If you feel that’s the way you want to go, then stand with Lance.

I, for one, know that I’ll not be taking that crap from anyone," Riven said.

"What the hell did you say?" Rion asked. He got up and rushed Riven, but Treshan caught him and pushed him back.

"Oh, please give a reason, and I’ll cut you down, you asshole," Riven said, his killing intent already seeping out.

"I stand with our rank one. Your classmates not only harassed and threatened our mate, but also caused a fight which I am sure resulted in a lot of injuries," Robert said as he stepped forward.

"This is the best we can do. We will warn Class C to stay clear of you, our seniors, and we beseech you, our seniors, to stay clear from them as well.

Like our rank one had said, we will not punish anyone or threaten them. The damage you, our seniors, have caused is already great, and all sides are now even," Robert said.

"Even? Even my ass! I’ll make sure I break everyone in the class!" Rion yelled.

"Prince Robert," Louis said, adjusting his glasses.

"I’m only Robert here. There is no nobility. We are only bound by rules here," he said.

"Alright then, Robert. Right now, you are standing in Class A of the second years—the strongest class in the second year. Do you really think that such negotiations are good?" Louis asked.

"Do what you will, but you forget—even if I’m not nobility here, I still know quite a few people, people above you—Class Three and Four—and I’m sure they will want to help if I call for it.

I know we can’t avoid a conflict with Class Two because of this issue, but I urge you to pick your battles carefully," Robert said.

Louis frowned when he heard that.

"Fine then. I may not be able to touch you, but I find it hard to believe that those contacts of yours will stretch out their necks for the rest of the first years.

What you have done now is declare war against your seniors, and I’m very sure you already know this will not end well for you," Louis said.

"Bring it on, and I swear I’ll make you cry twice for every one person you touch in Class One," Riven said and turned to walk out. He initially didn’t want things to go this bad, but when he heard the reason for why they were here, he knew all this was bullshit.

They all left the class and didn’t say anything, heading back for the first-year section. Back inside the class, Louis sat down on a table.

"Rion, co here," he said. Rion ran up in front of him, and imdiately Louis kicked him in the groin.

"Aghhhhh!" Rion collapsed to the ground.

"Can you see what your stupidity has caused? The first years now see us as unreasonable idiots, fighting over your rejection by a girl.

If not for the fact that Wilson owes you a favor, I would have beaten the shit out of you," Louis said as he ca down from the table.

"Class A, it seems our juniors need to be trained. You already know what to do, so do it," he said and walked toward the door.

Treshan followed him. They both walked out and headed down the hallway.

"That Lance—the hero candidate. We should use him. He’ll be the fall of his classmates," Louis said as they walked.

Riven and the others made it back to the first-year section, and imdiately Lance placed his hand on Riven and pulled him back.

"What the hell was that for? Putting all of us in a war?" he yelled. Riven imdiately got pissed and gut-punched him before grabbing his neck and slamming him against the wall.

"I have had it up to here with your antics, and I swear to Lumis who gave you that blessing, that I’ll snap your neck the next ti you cross ," Riven roared while everyone watched.

"You were willing to throw a group of students under the bus to save yourself and others, especially when they didn’t do anything wrong.

When I first t you, I thought you knew justice. I accommodated your hate for because I felt that you saw what I did as selfish and that it didn’t sit well with you—but you are simply a hypocrite with a blessing.

You disgust with what you said in that class, and I hope when all this goes to shit, you’ll be the one to suffer the most for it, because you deserve every bad thing that the second years bring.

I and the others will fight for the first years and defend the entire first years, and if you aren’t happy with that, duel and take rank one," Riven said and let go of his neck. He walked away without looking back.

Everyone also walked away, leaving a fuming Lance. He didn’t understand why everything was turning out like this and why he was becoming more and more hated. But there was one thing he knew—and that was that at the center of it all was Riven.

"I thought forcing my lead would finally get back, but Riven, you had to co and shatter that. I’ll show you. I’ll show all of you," he said to himself. He turned to look in the direction of the second-year section, a smile forming on his face.
