"It truly feels like I haven’t left the town I grew up in," Aurora comnted watching the carriages pass by and people rushing to go to a stand or enter the large numbers of shops.
"Did you think we lived hunting food like wild animals, sat around a fire, and slept under the night sky because we’re wolves?"
"Yes," she honestly replied instead of lying about what she expected. No one she knew would ever believe a place like this was inhabited by werewolves. Truly, how did anyone not know about this place? How did regular people truly believe such interesting people did not exist?
"At least you are honest. We’ve co a long way since those days and built up this place sort of mimicking what we saw the humans doing but made it better. Co, let’s take you into a shop owned by a friend." The reason why he brought Aurora on this tour was for him to buy anything she looked around and wanted but didn’t have the courage to ask him for. "The woman here is popular for making dresses for young won like yourself."
"I don’t need any more dresses," Aurora said just like she told him earlier. She couldn’t afford to buy new dresses and she didn’t want to use his money.
Vincent stopped walking before opening the shop door and said, "If this is about money I have more than enough to spend now and many more years. You buying anything you like will not hurt my pockets. And it doesn’t hurt to just look around right? This is a tour after all."
Aurora wasn’t sure she should trust the smile Vincent was showing her as him being innocent. It might an he was planning to do sothing devious behind her back. Surely, he was planning on buying sothing for her whether she liked it or not. "Okay," she replied.
"Good," Vincent said, opening the door and allowing Aurora to step inside first.
Entering the dress shop, Aurora was reminded of her visit to Mada Eloise. There were countless dresses everywhere with many shapes, sizes, designs, and colors. How could anyone walk in and only pick one dress? It would be so hard to make a decision.
"Vincent? You have finally taken the ti to co visit . What a terrible friend you are to wait so long." Aurora heard the voice of a woman.
A redhead woman ca from behind a pile of clothes after sensing Vincent was here. Aurora imdiately noticed the woman’s dress was revealing a bit more of her busty chest than what Aurora was accustod to seeing. The woman approached Vincent and gave him a big hug which looked like she was squeezing the life out of him.
"Cherry, can you please not break any of my bones with your hug?" Vincent asked, pushing the woman off of him. She might not look it but she was extrely strong.
’Cherry? What a unique na,’ Aurora thought to herself.
"Oh please. We both know you are not so easy to break Vincent. You finally brought a woman with you. I feel like I have seen her face sowhere," Cherry comnted and tried her best to rember where she had seen Aurora before but it wasn’t ringing a bell. "Forget about where I have seen you, honey. The two of you must be here for a dress. Take a look around and I will personally help you."
"You should look around at the styles of the dresses so you know what we normally wear here," Vincent told Aurora so that he could be left to speak with Cherry about his plan.
"Okay. It’s nice to et you," Aurora greeted the woman and then left Vincent’s side to look around at the dresses.
Cherry was about to follow Aurora to help her pick out dresses but Vincent stopped her. "What?" she whined since she wasn’t getting the chance to know more about the woman he brought to her. "You brought such a cute little lamb into my shop. How on earth is such a little cutie like that going to handle the big ole wolf?"
"I can’t tell if you ant that sexually or if that was taking a jab at my personality."
"Both," Cherry replied, watching Aurora’s every movent. She continued trying to rember where she knew the woman Vincent brought today.
"I need you to pick out dresses and send them to my ho for her. Add in so shoes and jewelry from your friends you buy from. With the dresses, nothing too revealing because she is not like you with flaunting everything. Pick out what will suit her." Vincent knew Cherry loved to experint with her dresses and how they fit her body but she and Aurora were day and night. If Aurora wanted to wear dresses like Cherry, she’d buy those on her own because he won’t.
The next thing he knew, she’d be questioning him about trying to change her and what she liked if he bought her clothes that were too revealing according to the rules she had when she lived with the Hamiltons.
"Why wear a beautiful dress if you are not going to flaunt what you have? You don’t have to reveal too much like the won who sell their bodies but it doesn’t hurt to make a man like you be on your knees for a woman like her. I can’t stand those big puffy dresses that hide the woman underneath them. Trust , the dresses I pick out for her will be doing her a favor."
"Cherry," Vincent warned his friend because his intention wasn’t to have Aurora step too far out of her comfort space. Cherry made beautiful dresses he knew would suit Aurora and that was why he ca here.
"Fine, fine. A little more conservative with the dresses for her. I understand you wouldn’t want other n looking her way. But sothing tells from the dresses I see her looking at, she wants to experint with what she wears. She just isn’t going to tell you but I have a special way with won," Cherry smiled leaving Vincent alone to get to know her new friend who was actually an old friend she forgot.
