"Greetings to the young alpha. I am honored to have you in my ho. It is a pleasure to et you too, my lady. My na is Claude or as many of my old friends must call , the deserter."

"It is nice to et you, Claude," Aurora greeted the werewolf they would be staying with for the ti being. He was quite small with a head full of white hair like her own. However, she knew it wasn’t a good idea to underestimate him because of how he looked. "Thank you for taking us in."

"It was no big deal. How could I not accept soone like Vincent’s request to stay in my ho? I was thrilled and awaited every second of your arrival so much that it annoyed my grandson," Claude closed the door behind Vincent.

"How is your grandson? I rember the last ti you sent a letter to , you spoke of how he wanted to join other werewolves. Where is he now?" Vincent asked.

"Probably causing trouble or sowhere in the forest hunting for food. I told him to be careful because if he is seen my identity will also be exposed. He goes away for a long ti since he is upset. I didn’t let him leave to live with werewolves. His mother was a werewolf but his father was human," Claude inford Aurora.

"It is my fault for taking my daughter away from other wolves and raising her amongst humans. It is not surprising that she fell in love with one of them. The boy is much weaker than an average werewolf and I would rather him live with humans as his mother wanted. Children never listen and I am too old to keep warning him."

"One day he will see you were only trying to protect him. It would take him eting another werewolf for him to realize how strong you must be to live in our world. However, I will welco and protect him if you wish to send him. All werewolves belonging to our pack are welcod back at any ti," Vincent extended the offer.

Claude left his pack not because he had done anything wrong but because he was tired of his life in the community and wanted to try living amongst humans. He was welco to co back whenever he wanted.

"Thank you. I have done as you asked and kept an eye on the Hamiltons. It ca as a huge surprise to learn they were witches all along. The once active socialites seem to be keeping to themselves these days. It is only a few tis I caught the old woman leaving the ho with her son. There seed to be so trouble last night as a lot of n left the ho searching for the young lady, Regina Hamilton."

Claude had been following after the n who left the ho in the dark shadows and overheard them talking about the young girl.

"Regina ran away from ho," Aurora didn’t find it surprising considering Regina wasn’t in the best place with her family these days. The hard part would be to figure out where Regina had run off to in order to find her before Minnie and the others would. "We have to find her first."

"Did you see her leave, Claude?"

"No," Claude shook his head. "I didn’t sll anything either, which is odd because I am an excellent tracker. After following those n, I returned and sniffed out the house but I didn’t sll a young woman’s scent. There was a faint sll of blood nearing morning but I saw no one taking out a body. There might be a secret exit leading sowhere."

"Claude’s nose is better than anyone I know when it cos to picking up scents from far away. If he did not sll her scent when he surrounded the ho and there is a dead body that no one took outside to get rid of, there definitely has to be another way into there. Do you think you might have seen this way out?" Vincent asked Aurora as she was the only one who had once been inside the ho.

"There are many rooms which are off limits. It would take forever to know which one holds a secret door. If Regina used it to get out, we must find her to learn where it is so that we might sneak in. We have to find her first," said Aurora.

She wanted to know that Regina was safe and also, to get any piece of information from Regina about what she had seen her family doing while Aurora was away.

"Where on earth would Regina go to hide from her family? She wouldn’t go to a friend’s house nor would she go sowhere to rent a room. She would need to go sowhere where she could be protected. Sowhere-No," Aurora shook her head as the place she thought of wasn’t a place Regina would go so soon. "Could it be possible she would run to the man she was planning to marry?"

Aurora knew Timothy was powerful enough to protect Regina if she ran to him thanks to his family ties but what would Regina say to make him what to hide her from her family? It wasn’t like they were married yet and Regina couldn’t expose her family to being witches unless she trusted Timothy. Timothy was family to the sa people who went around burning witches.

"If it is your only clue we have to try there. Do you know where this man lives?" Vincent questioned as he was ready to head out and search for Aurora’s sister.

"Yes, but it won’t be easy to get into his ho. We’d have to take a risk by telling a guard that I am here to see Regina. There is also the possibility that if I am thinking Regina is with him, her family might think the sa and have their people watch Timothy’s ho. Claude, can you find us so servant clothes?" Aurora ca up with an idea.
