"Everyone but has a cool power," Derek sobbed a little jealous of what Aurora and Vincent could do. "Watch her back," he ordered the two n who followed him.

If they let even a single strand of Aurora’s hair get ssed up there was no stopping Vincent from turning around and choking the hell out of them.

Derek went to fight alongside Vincent while Aurora sent her knives to attack the vampires coming after her. Vampires were hard to kill and the majority of the ti you would have to tear up their bodies and burn them to stop the creatures from healing.

Vincent didn’t have an issue with the tearing up part. Whoever was in his reach got pulled closer and then lost a piece of their body. Aurora aided Vincent by using her blades to stab the person he tore apart and set them on fire with her black flas.

The goal wasn’t to kill all the vampires here but to hold them off until the werewolves could show up and send the vampires back deep into the dark forest. Seeing that none of the royal vampires had co to join the fight ant that they didn’t care if Vincent died now or not.

If Charles truly wanted Vincent dead he would have joined the fight or at least sent more vampires after the alpha.

"It’s an insult he thinks this amount of you can harm ," Vincent growled as he grabbed a vampire’s head in his palm. The creature wiggled around clawing at Vincent but he wasn’t one to care about pain. Although he was angry he saw how young the vampire was.

"P-Please, I’m just doing what the-"

"Shut up," he pushed the boy’s head back enough for him to fall against the rocky ground. Vincent didn’t care to listen to his enemy beg for his life. They wouldn’t give him the sa opportunity to beg for his life. Young or old, he was going to kill all vampires in front of him.

"Give a drop of your blood," a vampire hissed, falling right behind Aurora.

Lucky, she was quick on her feet to use her surroundings to her advantage. Aurora controlled a vine and wrapped it around the creature’s feet before launching it in the air. "I have not had so much fun in a while," she chuckled, enjoying the bloodshed.

"Are you alright?" One of the n left to protect her asked.

"Better than ever-Wolves?" Aurora switched the topic when howls were heard in the distance.

"About ti," Derek cheered while he fought. It was about ti he could take a break to go ho and sleep. "That’s it. Run back ho with your tails between your legs!" He yelled when the vampires started to retreat.

"Derek, you’re the ones with legit tails. You must find better insults for them," Aurora made her knives disappear as there was no need for them with the other werewolves here. "He’s really beating the crap out of them," she folded her arms watching Vincent still in his other form attacking vampires within his reach.

"We should give him ti to calm down unless you want to be the one to stop him?" Derek was not going anywhere near Vincent when he was like this. What if he were to suffer the sa fate as the vampires? He almost felt sorry for them as Vincent pounded their heads with his fists until they cracked open. "On second thought, you shouldn’t do anything.".

"The alpha is alive."

"Vincent is not dead."

"The person who slled his scent was right."

The werewolves who ca thanks to the ssage sent back were in shock to see Vincent alive and beating the crap out of vampires.

"Vincent, I believe the ones on the ground had enough. Do you need to smoke to calm down?" Aurora asked now that the remaining vampires had fled. There was no need for him to keep punching them anymore. He had to work on controlling his anger and what he was doing right now wasn’t helping.

Vincent squashed the head of one last vampire with his feet before taking three deep breaths. Soon enough a sizzling sound was heard as his skin burned as his body was returning back to normal. "I’m fine."

"Doesn’t seem fine to ," Derek whispered to Aurora. "We should keep our distance from him a little while longer."

"If you don’t want his attention on you, stop whispering since he can hear us. I take it everything went well at the palace or did you lose anyone from your group? I hope Percy got there in ti," said Aurora.

Percy was one of the few vampires she knew of and owed her a favor from a long ti ago. He wasn’t happy her favor required him to visit the place he ran away from but he agreed to it in the end.

"We don’t know how things went with Graham and the vampires since we did not go too deep into their palace. It was only five of us and had we done that we would have been captured for sure," Derek replied. They would have to wait a while for any signs of Graham.

"If Graham found out you were alive he wouldn’t return to the community right away. I’ve used up my one favor with Percy and he won’t stay in the palace long enough to know what will happen to Graham." Aurora knew how much Percy disliked being in the dark forest for him to leave as soon as the job was done.

"I’m sure they didn’t allow my uncle to leave but as you said, we won’t know for sure. They might’ve killed him or imprisoned him to be later tortured. Whatever option it is, he deserves it." Vincent felt relieved his uncle’s luck had run out.

Graham was now in a place where his connections couldn’t help save him. Everyone back at ho who was once on his side would now start to distance themselves from Graham and Cecilia.

It was the perfect karma for him to die in the sa place he turned his back on his brother.

"Vincent," Aurora placed her hand on his back to comfort him. "Are you alright? Do you regret the way you did this?"

She wondered if he regretted not killing Graham with his own hands.

"No, not for the slightest mont. I don’t care how he ets his end as long as he is not alive. He should die at the hands of the very creatures he let kill his own people. Co, it’s too cold out for you," Vincent held out his hand for her.

The cold air was nipping at his skin but he was used to it. However, Aurora was not wearing a coat to shield her from the cold.

"It has not been that long but I missed you," he pulled her against his chest to warm her up. He kissed her forehead thankful that she had left and returned safely in one piece.

"Not too close Vincent. You are covered in too much blood," she tried maneuvering her head away from all the fresh blood that covered the rest of her body thanks to him warming her up. "I have missed you too but now I am in need of a shower."

"I can-"

"Hey! There’s an audience here. No one wants to see the two of you flirting with each other," Derek broke up the mont. Aurora and Vincent were acting like there wasn’t a loud crowd of warriors waiting for Vincent’s command. "We have to go back to the community. You have a lot of explaining to do Vincent."

"? You’re the one who announced to be dead when I am not. I think you will be the one to do a lot of explaining Derek. Have fun," Vincent grinned.

"After everything I did for you, this is how you repay ? Get out of the way Aurora. I’m going to knock out just this once. Hey! Get off of !" Derek yelled to the n holding him back from attacking Vincent. "Just one punch. Why do I have to do all of this work when this was your plan?"

"Vincent, you cannot give Derek the task of explaining this to your people. Give him a break after all that he has done in the past hours," said Aurora.

"Thank you!" Derek exclaid from under the group of n holding him down. "This is why I like Aurora more than you."

"Hmm. I want a group of you to cover the land and make sure all vampires have returned to the dark forest. Another group should get rid of the bodies here. Quickly return to your places. I will explain everything in a eting soon. Go!" Vincent yelled to the n.

Before telling them what was going on, he wanted to visit an unsuspecting Cecilia. To save herself, she would be the one exposing the cris Graham had committed. Cecilia was a smart woman and to save herself one day in the future, she must have kept so evidence of the things Graham did in order to protect herself should he ever be caught.
