"But still..." Mari trailed off wishing so part of it was true that Vincent and Aurora were alone in the room making progress in their relationship. "We won’t know if there is any romance between the two of them till they co out of the room but I can hardly wait," Mari jumped up and down. Everyone should be excited be as excited as she was. Didn’t they want to see Vincent happy with soone? It was ti for him to settle down and get married.

She believed there was sothing going on between Aurora and Vincent because why else would he be all alone in Aurora’s room right now? There was nothing wrong with his large one. If they needed to speak with each other, why didn’t Aurora leave her room to talk to Vincent?"This is all happening much faster than I anticipated. Should everyone leave to give them so privacy?"

The last statent made Jane look at Mari. What Mari said could be interpreted in many ways. "I didn’t expect you to have your mind in the gutter Mari. I’m absolutely sure nothing you think is happening is actually happening but I’m not going to ruin your dreams. I guarantee Aurora won’t like the rumors that will spread after this. Vincent won’t be able to keep the workers from talking about this."

Jane didn’t believe there was anything romantic going on but she still wondered what could be keeping Vincent in Aurora’s room for so long. She had the perfect person to ask when she heard the door of Aurora’s room open and she stepped out. "Good afternoon Aurora. Can I help with anything? Are you hungry or in need of sothing else?"

Aurora jumped not expecting anyone to be on the stairs at this mont. She just wanted to get a fresh jug of water for her bedroom and so snacks to nibble on as she watched Vincent continue to sleep. "H-Hi," she stuttered, feeling as though she had just been caught with her hand in the cookie jar. "I just ca for water and so fruits."

"I can get that for you. Enough for one person?" Mari asked, making Jane shake her head. She wanted to hear Aurora say that Vincent was in her room. If only Aurora had not been her boss in a way so that Mari could have so girl talk about this.

"Yes, please. Why would I need it for more than one person? Oh dear, she’s already gone," Aurora muttered when Mari hurried away leaving her with just Jane. She cleared her throat before asking Jane, "Did you visit Derek and the girls this morning?"

"Yes, I went to take them so breakfast this morning and so fresh clothes. Fortunately, they have been placed together and Derek will take care of them. No need to worry," Jane knew the little girls must have been on Aurora’s mind all night like they had been on her own along with her husband. The more Jane interacted with the little ones, the more attached she beca to them. She knew that was a bad thing but she couldn’t help herself. Her mother wasn’t going to like her taking interest in humans.

What Derek did by allowing the children to follow him will just cause Jane’s mother to detest him even more.

"That’s good to hear. I asked Vincent if he could take but he can’t since he’ll be involved in the trial. I can’t wait to have the three of them out of there." Aurora planned to invite all three of them to dinner when they beco free.

Jane remained silent for a mont not sure how to tell Aurora not to get hopes up too high for the little girls. Derek might walk away with a little punishnt but the little ones could be killed. She had been brainstorming ways to help them but she had not reached a successful plan yet.

"You’re going to tell don’t get my hopes up. Don’t worry, I have an idea and I am going to try my best to make it work. I’m going to make sure those two little girls are safe," Aurora promised. She at least had to give her all even if she might end up failing. Still, if she did fail, she wasn’t going to let them just kill the little girls.

Aurora noticed yet again so of the workers passing by on the main floor and when they saw her by the stairs talking to Jane, they began to speak in hushed tones. She was stuck with their behavior getting to her but at the sa ti, she was slowly ignoring it. She wasn’t completely on either side. Her mind made her mindful of the things people might be saying about her but then she started to eventually not care about their words the more she thought about it.

Life will be short and stressful if she continues to pay those people any mind. From Mari’s reaction to the water she wanted and her question, she must know that Vincent was in her room and most likely getting the wrong idea of why he was there. A little while ago she would’ve been jumping imdiately to correct what Mari was thinking but after watching Vincent sleep so peacefully, she didn’t feel the need to clarify what was happening in her room.

Aurora knew the truth of what is happening inside her bedroom and she wasn’t going to defend her character every ti sothing like this happens.

’Regina would be proud to know I’m changing,’ she thought to herself.

"Why hasn’t Vincent co out of your room?" Jane bluntly asked instead of playing around it as Mari did. They were all grown people here and could be honest with each other. It wouldn’t affect her life if Vincent and Aurora did do sothing in the room. She just wanted to speak with Vincent right about now.

"He fell asleep in my room. I don’t think you’ll be able to wake him up if it’s important. He’s in a deep sleep." Aurora dropped sothing in the room creating a loud noise and thought Vincent would’ve woken up because of it but he didn’t move an inch. He continued to sleep peacefully as nothing happened. "He didn’t wake up from the loud noises I made in the room. He said he only wanted to sleep for an hour."

Jane laughed because what Aurora said wasn’t true. "What on earth are you talking about? Vincent is a light sleeper and will wake up from the smallest sound. I think you’re being tricked, Aurora."

Aurora’s mouth hung open learning this fact. Of course, he must’ve woken up this entire ti but continued to lay on her bed pretending. And here she was concerned that he might have been working too hard and needed the rest since he was sleeping so peacefully. "That trickster," she clenched her fists.

"The two of you seem to be having a good ti playing around like this. I would hate to be Vincent when you’re back in there. Please go easy on him. I can’t afford for anything to happen to him when he pays and Derek’s."

"We’ll see how that turns out."

"Water and fruits all sliced up for you courtesy of Abel. Would you like to take it to your room for you? It might be too heavy for you," Mari said once she returned from the kitchen with what Aurora had requested. She was too anxious and wanted to see with her own eyes what Vincent was doing.

"No thank you, I can take it myself," Aurora replied, trying to take the items from Mari but she wouldn’t let go of them. "I’m seriously fine Mari. Can you please let go?"

"I just want to be of service to you. You’ve been alone for a while now. I can just drop it off," Mari tried to reason with her.

"No."

"Mari, let go," Jane said, taking the items from Mari to give to Aurora. She didn’t know the girl’s obsession with Aurora and Vincent being a couple had reached this level. "There is sothing wrong with you," she told Mari. "Call for or Mari when you need sothing Aurora."

"I will," Aurora said, taking the jug and fruits from Jane while she watched Mari with suspicion. She had never seen her act this weird before. "Goodbye for now," she started going back to her room leaving the two won together.

She had soone else to deal with. The door of her room was still open and when she entered, she kicked it shut with her right foot. She placed the jug and fruits on her desk beside her bed standing to the side to keep an eye on Vincent. She was almost tempted to pour so water on him for tricking her but she wasn’t that evil. "I know you’re awake Vincent. Jane told you are a light sleeper."

"No, I’m not," he replied.
