“If the White House really ends up signing off honestly, then David truly has no reason, and no need to take the risk of stirring up sothing as significant as impeachnt.”
Although the three, including David, were eager to see Carla’s stance, they knew everything that needed to be said had been conveyed; it wouldn’t be appropriate to press her too hard, so they left the office first.
“What do you think, Windsor?”
Right after the three left, Katherine imdiately turned to her chief of staff.
“Madam Vice President, I believe this trade is worth making!”
Arica’s Vice President was essentially a powerless mascot, and as the Vice President’s chief of staff, one had even less presence.
However, if she really accepted David’s proposal and things progressed smoothly, then once Carla took over the White House, she, Windsor, would naturally beco a powerful White House chief of staff.

“From the information I’ve gathered, The Big Three Groups did make threats, and even took action. However, earlier today, I also heard through so channels that last night the CIA and FBI took so actions.”
“According to reliable information, these senators and their families are now under the close protection of these two major agencies. I think you don’t have to worry about that at all.”
“The renown of our two major Arican agencies isn’t for nothing. The Big Three Groups, though wealthy and ruthless, won’t be able to stir up too much trouble with these two agencies watching them.”
Katherine had already been leaning towards David’s side, now that she was seeking reassurance from her chief of staff, it was rely for an added psychological comfort.
And now, after this conversation, her mind was completely made up!
“No need, if we notify them now, the IRS will have expectations and won’t experience as much of a psychological impact.”
