Chapter 572: Chapter 288: The Identity of Satoshi Nakamoto Revealed_2
“`
“That’s one way to put it, though Mr. Jobs has passed away, I’m here today for the three of you gentlen,” said Director David.
Hearing that it was for them, a ripple of emotion flickered in the eyes of Rowson and his colleagues, quickly covere up by them, though.
“In April 2008, Mr. Jobs called the three of you to his office, where he proposed the creation of a virtual currency. The key feature of this virtual currency was its decentralization, with supply regulated automatically by its algorithm. Am I right, gentlen?” said Director David.
As his words ended, the three montarily held their breaths, but after only three seconds, the engineer nad Jefferson retorted, “Director David, I don’t know what you’re talking about, nor do I understand why you would believe the rumors that Mr. Jobs is Satoshi Nakamoto. That is simply nonsense!”
“In fact, not only Mr. Jobs, you three are ‘Satoshi Nakamoto’ too!” Director David revealed.
Their expressions stiffened, for they realized the implication of his words: Director David seed to know that Satoshi Nakamoto was not just one person.
Ignoring what they were thinking, Director David continued, “Following Mr. Jobs’s request, Mr. Jefferson, you ca up with the idea that this virtual currency could be generated through ‘mining,’ that is, by performing complex mathematical calculations on computers to acquire new currency and validate transactions. In the network of this currency, each participant can act as a node, verifying the validity of transactions through mutual communication. Blockchain technology ensures the security and reliability of Bitcoin transactions. Am I right, Mr. Jefferson?”
After speaking, Director David turned to Rowson and said, “As for you, Mr. Rowson, you proposed the necessary algorithm for this currency, and you ultimately believed that the NSA’s ‘SHA-256’ cryptographic hash function was most appropriate for it because this algorithm converts data of any length into a fixed-length hash value. A key characteristic of this hash value is that it cannot be reverse-engineered back to the original data. Thus, to compute the hash value, one has to keep trying different input data to find one that fits the rules. Am I correct, Mr. Rowson?”
Director David then focused on the last person, Buniel, and said, “As for you, Mr. Buniel, you believed that to mine this currency, miners would need to possess sufficient computational resources within the network. By repeatedly trying to add new blocks to the Bitcoin network, they would earn Bitcoin rewards. Each new block contains the hash value of the previous block, creating an unalterable chain, which is the so-called ‘blockchain.’ So, you were responsible for the blockchain work, weren’t you, Mr. Buniel?”
When Director David finished, a storm of emotions raged within the three n’s hearts.
Indeed, when Jobs had approached them years ago with the idea to create a virtual currency, they had indeed proposed the concepts that Director David was now ntioning.
What they couldn’t understand, however, was how Director David could know such detailed information about it now.
They would have believed it if David had been eavesdropping on their conversation back then!
“Director David, I don’t know why you’re saying this, but Bitcoin, Satoshi Nakamoto, and all that really have nothing to do with us. You’ve got the wrong people!” they insisted.
No matter what, they definitely couldn’t admit to it.
Otherwise, should the identity of Satoshi Nakamoto be confird and reveal, it would cause a global sensation. It could even trigger a domino effect that would bring the now incredibly valuable Bitcoin crashing down.
Director David remained silent, placing his right index finger on his forehead and smiling, “Gentlen, do you know what this is?”
Although the three n were shocked by Director David’s accurate knowledge about Bitcoin’s construction and managed to maintain their composure, upon seeing his current gesture, they could no longer contain their expressions and showed utter astonishnt.
The reason was simple: it was the signature gesture of core mbers of the Illuminati.
The origin of this gesture could be traced back to ancient Egypt. It symbolized the Eye of Horus in Egyptian mythology, representing the protection and power of the all-seeing god.
Within Illuminati circles, the Eye of Horus took on an additional layer of aning; it signified royalty and the elite who followed the monarch. Many mbers of the Illuminati regarded themselves as divine and self-crowned as kings.
Thus, the gesture also served as a secret way for Illuminati mbers to communicate with one another, expressing their identity and belief.
Unlike the triangular hand gestures made with joined thumbs by celebrities in the entertainnt industry, which is a public gesture of the Illuminati used for their followers.
The gesture Director David made now was not public and was known only among core mbers.
Could it be…
Director David was a mber of the Illuminati?
“`
Upon thinking this, the three of them beca excited. If David were a mber of the Illuminati, then he would be one of their own, wouldn’t he? Then why worry about Satoshi Nakamoto’s identity being exposed?
However, their excitent was quenched as quickly as it had flared when they seed to think of sothing.
David probably wasn’t a part of the Illuminati, considering he had obviously co to pick a fight today. If he were with the Illuminati, why would he cause trouble for his own people?
But no matter what, since David had made that gesture, it was highly probable that he knew they were mbers of the Illuminati, and it was also highly likely that he knew Satoshi Nakamoto represented the Illuminati.
The situation had just beco worse.
The reason Bitcoin had beco a worldwide sensation was that it was established with an important core tenet from the beginning: no institution or governnt could control this currency.
That had reassured investors, as well as criminals, to comfortably use the currency for transactions.
If it were leaked that Satoshi Nakamoto, the creator of this currency, was actually the Illuminati, that would undoubtedly cause a significant loss of market confidence.
That’s why the Illuminati had created a Satoshi Nakamoto that would confound the whole world.
In simple terms, he was ant to take the fall.
“You know my purpose, and I know you don’t have the authority to decide, so, I hope you pass a ssage to the higher-ups of your Illuminati, just tell them I want to talk.”
Listening to David’s words, the three faces darkened, but they didn’t argue anymore.
Not only did he know that they were a part of creating this currency, but he also knew they were mbers of the Illuminati; further denial was pointless.
After a long silence, Jefferson replied, “Alright Director David, I’ll pass on the ssage.”
“Good, I’ll wait for your news.”
David took out a business card and placed it on the table, then he stood up, pushed the door open, and joined Nisen Bakesimmons outside. Together, they took the elevator down to the lobby on the first floor.
Upon his arrival, a middle-aged African-Arican woman who was waiting greeted them and said, “Hello Director David, I’m Bruna, the director of the Bay Area Branch. We spoke on the phone yesterday.”
“Hello, Director Bruna.”
David extended his hand and shook hers.
“Oh right, Director David, did you find anything here?”
Bruna’s personal appearance was certainly not just for a simple et-up with David; after all, Jobs was one of the suspect candidates for Satoshi Nakamoto.
If David found so evidence on her turf, she, as the director of that jurisdiction, naturally wanted to get a piece of the action.
In short, she also ca hoping to benefit in so way.
David shook his head and replied, “No significant findings.”
Although Bruna was from the IRS, now that Satoshi Nakamoto was involved with the Illuminati, David naturally wouldn’t say more until the dust had settled.
Bruna looked slightly disappointed and then responded, “Alright Director David, let know if there is anything you need.”
