People like those from Bogwana and Bennett had their expressions turn sour almost imdiately upon hearing these statents.
The situation had beco clear, the ‘Aid W Act’ was evidently the White House’s, and Congress’s, main policy.
And for this bill to pass, the funding source had to be addressed first.
Every penny in Arica’s budget is accounted for, and taking from any category would upset those with existing benefits—the only funds available for the ‘Aid W Act’ were those that David had recently co into, which hadn’t been budgeted yet.
So, to return to the point.
If they decided to take action against David now, the White House would likely be the first to express dissatisfaction, followed by Congress. But that’s not even the worst of it.
The worst issue is that the funds for the ‘Aid W Act’ aren’t going directly to the W party, but are instead going to be used to purchase arms that would then be sent to them.
Where would these weapons be bought?
From Arica’s military-industrial complexes, of course.
And whose realm of influence are the military-industrial complexes under?
The answer is the Ansa Group!
In other words, if they dare touch David now, they would essentially be cutting off the Ansa Group’s revenue stream.
We’re talking about a budget of hundreds of billions here.

This was also the conclusion he and people like Jace in the group had co to after discussions the day before: before today’s eting, they had to probe more about David’s detailed transaction information, besides the custor’s information revealed yesterday.
They were concerned that David might have been bluffing to trick them.
David’s face remained impassive as he pulled open a drawer, took out a stack of thick docunts and dropped them on the desk.
Seeing this, Yamarin and the others grew serious. They didn’t dare waste ti and imdiately picked up a file to start reviewing it.
Seven or eight minutes later, their expressions turned grim.
David then spoke up, “Well, do you need to see more of my leverage? I can have soone bring over a few more stacks of docunts like these.”
At the ntion of several more stacks, Yamarin and the others broke out in a cold sweat. Just the dozen or so docunts on hand, if taken to court, would be more than enough trouble for them.
It seed David wasn’t just bluffing; he actually had gathered God-knows-how details about the CUUI, CUUO products, which was why he was so confident.
Realizing this, Yamarin could only say, “No need, we can talk about the Sackler family’s assets, but there are so conditional terms.”
