Chapter 363: Chapter 213: Alpha Force Arrests People_3
If everyone was honest, David wouldn’t specifically ddle with Bear Country spies; after all, that’s the responsibility of the FBI and the CIA.
Tugenev certainly understood and imdiately responded, “Rest assured, both Arica and Bear Country are great nations in this world, and since you and I have now reached this agreent as representatives of both sides, naturally, we will adhere to the terms of the agreent.”
“That’s more like it, Consulate sir.”
…
One hour later.
In Bear Country, Saint Petersburg, at the estate where Rodrigozki was, nurous bodyguards were stationed at the entrance, surrounding areas, and the higher vantage points on the second floor.
At that mont, silently, a group of people erged in a nearby thicket.
The group was dressed in black combat gear, with night vision goggles on their heads, and a multi-functional tactical belt around their waists carrying a variety of practical equipnt such as grenades, flashbangs, tactical knives, and more. Additionally, each person held a Kalashnikov submachine gun fitted with a silencer.
“05, 06, go around the left and take care of the guards there; 07, 08, take the right side; 11, 12, secure the high ground…”
Under the command of their leader, the group began to move quietly according to their assignnts.
anwhile, inside the estate, although the hunt had not been successful, Rodrigozki was in a great mood seeing the overwhelming public opinion and censure David was facing. He was enjoying red wine and playing chess with his subordinates in the hall.
“Mr. Rodrigozki, based on the news that has co in, David has been hiding in the Western Suburb Branch for three days now. Many people are attacking him, calling him a coward. How about we increase the bounty and stoke the fire even more?”
Hearing his subordinate’s suggestion, Rodrigozki’s expression changed. He waved his finger and said with a smile, “Your proposal isn’t bad. Let’s release the news that I’m adding 5 million to the bounty!”
The subordinate took out his phone, about to send a ssage to Los Angeles, but a sudden sound of breaking glass startled him and also Rodrigozki.
When they turned to look, several spots on the wall where the glass had been shattered were visible, and four fully ard n in black, dangling on ropes, broke in.
“Hands up, don’t move!”
Before the two could even react, the door was also breached. Rodrigozki and his two subordinates were wrapped up in an instant.
“Who are you, do you know where you are!”
Rodrigozki had seen a lot in his ti and, even though he had beco a lamb to the slaughter, he was not afraid.
However, the n in black did not pay him any heed. Four of them, guns in hand, slowly approached and quickly subdued Rodrigozki and his subordinates, handcuffing them.
“Damn it, who are you? I want to call Deputy Mayor Anastasia!”
Still, the fully ard individuals ignored him. However, one of Rodrigozki’s subordinates seed to recognize sothing and said, trembling, “You… You’re Alpha Special Forces?!”
“Alpha!”
Rodrigozki, who had been arrogant and defiant, suddenly showed a look of terror at the ntion of that na.
You see, Alpha Special Forces were as renowned as the Arica Navy SEALs, and were among the most elite forces in Bear Country.
This force normally operated only in anti-terrorism and warfare scenarios. He was just a drug trafficker; how had he rited a visit from this elite unit?
“What… what do you want to do?”
Rodrigozki stamred as he spoke, but he was also bewildered, wondering what or who he had provoked to warrant capture by this force.
In an instant, Rodrigozki ran through everyone he had recently offended or had offended in the past. No matter how hard he thought, he couldn’t figure it out.
The only one he could think of as a sworn enemy was David.
But then again, David, as a branch chief of the Arica Tax Bureau, was able to command Alpha Special Forces to capture him?
What kind of international joke was that!
These were forces under the Bear Country Federal Security Service. Not to ntion David, few high-ranking officials within Bear Country could command them.
Before he could continue his train of thought, two mbers of Alpha grasped his arms, one on each side. He quickly spoke up, “What exactly does Alpha want with ? You have to give an explanation.”
Unfortunately for him, the mbers of Alpha were not interested in explaining, and they continued the process of escorting him into a pre-arranged vehicle.
About forty minutes later, the vehicle arrived at Pulkovo International Airport in Saint Petersburg.
Rodrigozki, already frantic, nearly wet himself upon realizing they had brought him to the airport.
Logically, if the mbers of Alpha wanted to transfer him to another location, by car would have sufficed. Even for traveling to Moscow or other cities, other airports would do; there was no need for a large international airport.
And yet, here they were, at this very airport. Could it be that he would be sent out of the country?
Could it really be that Alpha was acting on David’s instructions to capture him?
But that was impossible…
He was a bona fide citizen of Bear Country, and the relationship between Bear Country and Arica was well known to the world. If they handed him to Arica, would Bear Country’s governnt still have any face?
