Chapter 338: Chapter 205: No Need to Talk About Agreents with You

“Ah… this…”

Upon hearing that an operation was to begin against Rodrigozki, and that it would involve such a large deploynt of three inspector squads, Hakim beca troubled.

“Go on, what are you waiting for!”

“Alright…”

Hakim had no choice but to turn around and leave to make the necessary arrangents.

Just like yesterday, a large number of dia journalists arrived at the entrance of the Western Suburb Branch early in the morning to see when Director David would finally take action.

While they were still observing and reporting, suddenly, a large number of inspectors burst out, startling them.

But before most people could regain their senses, soone in the crowd exclaid in surprise, “Director David has co out, is he going to start his first operation after taking office!?”

Indeed, after dozens of inspectors erged, Director David walked out, surrounded by Hakim, Buckynison Simmons, and several others.

In fact, David could have simply summoned Rodrigozki’s gang to him; there was no need to visit them personally, but that would have been too low-profile.

The reason he decided to personally lead the operation was to make a high-profile statent and send a warning to the criminal organizations in the Western Suburbs through the power of dia coverage.

“I’m David. If you’re wise, you’ll pay your taxes obediently; if not, I’ll co after you myself!”

Amid the dia’s speculations and exclamations, the mbers of the three inspector squads were already boarding their vehicles.

David, along with Nisen Bakesimmons, Hakim, and two others, also got into a CUV and headed towards lrose Avenue.

“Quick, let’s follow them!”

The dia, unwilling to miss out on such a significant story, also got into their vehicles and chased after the large convoy from the Western Suburb Branch.

However, they soon realized sothing was amiss.

Because the direction the Western Suburb Branch convoy took wasn’t towards Hollywood; instead, they entered lrose Avenue and stopped in front of a building.

“Simmons, you take your team and keep an eye on the dia here; don’t let them inside. Everyone else, follow up,” said David, giving his orders before heading into the building with the others, and then taking the elevator all the way to the top floor.

As the elevator doors opened and so many people poured out, the two suited n guarding the place imdiately stepped forward and asked, “This is a private club, who are you?”

Nisen was the first to step forward and respond with an imposing air, “National Revenue Service on a case, call your person in charge here.”

Upon hearing that it was the National Revenue Service, and upon seeing David among them, the two n turned pale and one of them imdiately turned away to notify soone.

anwhile, David walked up to the entrance of the private club and said to the remaining suited man, “Open the door.”

“Director David, this is a private club, I can’t let you in without the owner’s permission.”

David looked at him and said, “Do you think I ca here to chat with your boss?”

“This… then, do you have a search warrant?”

“Hahaha.”

The man’s question elicited laughter from Nisen, Bucky, and the other inspectors.

A search warrant? That’s sothing for the police and FBI and other law enforcent agencies. Did the National Revenue Service need such a thing?

What a joke!

“I won’t say it a second ti, right?”

After David spoke, Nisen and Bucky imdiately surrounded the man with their respective teams of inspectors, with the clear intent that if the man didn’t open the door, they were ready to break in.

Seeing this, beads of sweat ford on the suited man’s forehead. Ultimately, he didn’t have the courage to keep resisting and moved to the side, lifted a cover, and revealed a nine-key keypad. After typing a sequence of numbers, the two large doors automatically slid open.

As the doors fully opened, the first things to catch the eye were a variety of firearms and rare animal trophies hanging on the wall.

In the center of the lobby, an expensive chandelier hung from the ceiling. On closer inspection, it appeared to be made of pure gold with countless sparkling gems embedded in it. Expensive Zeigler Mahler carpets covered the floor of the lobby.

On the other side, there was a pool table and a small golf area.

David briefly surveyed the situation, determining there was no danger before walking to the center of the lobby and taking a seat on the genuine leather sofa, crossing his legs in a relaxed manner.

About twenty minutes later, footsteps could be heard from outside the private club. Then, a group of tall, hairy, beard-covered n from Bear Country filed in.

Upon their entry, Nisen, Bucky, and the others imdiately beca alert, knowing that these n were not the kind to blink at murder; they were mbers of the notorious drug cartel from Bear Country.

“Stop right there!”

As they approached, Nisen extended his hand to halt them and then gave a subtle nod to one of his team mbers.

The inspectors understood and moved forward to frisk the Bear Countryn, who appeared irked but ultimately gave in and raised their hands cooperatively, seeing they were dealing with the National Revenue Service.

While these n were being searched, Director David was also surreptitiously scrutinizing them with his “golden eye”.
