Gael finally snapped out of his daze and imdiately ordered his confidant, "Quick, get the tax authority's phone!"

Now, he didn't care about his nephew or the chieftain's face, he needed to get those fighters and armored vehicles from the tax authority to stop firing first!

Otherwise, a few more missiles and their reservation would be ruined!

Hearing this, Dieter, already panicked, simply plopped down on the ground, his face ashen as death.

At this juncture, he was well aware that not even the king of heaven could save him now, he was as good as dead!

West District Entrance.

Feeling the shockwaves from the missiles dropped by the fighter jets, everyone on site was greatly shaken.

In the past, although they had known about the destructive power of fighter jets, they had never experienced it first-hand.

But now, having witnessed it up close, they finally understood why so many billions, even trillions of dollars had been invested by countries around the world in developing fighter jets.

This thing was a genuine airborne weapon of mass destruction!

"Chief Tax Officer, Chieftain Gael has called, saying he wants to have a talk with you!"

Nisen ca over to relay this ssage.

David stopped gazing at the swarm of fighter jets in the sky, feeling that the intimidation had been sufficient, and figured the elders of the Indian tribe probably understood the power of the tax authority by now!

He then ordered, "Reply to the bureau, tell them to send over the civilian staff, bring along the bill counters, filing forms, and... all the necessary materials and equipnt. Oh, and we might be short-staffed, so have them request so extra people from the municipal bureau!"

This ti, he wasn't just going in to demand Dieter from those Indian elders, but also to take advantage of their residual fear to secure their tax paynts!

The Indian tribe was too large and there were those illegal businessn conducting trade within the comrcial area.

The work that needed to be done was simply too much for a single Lake District Sub-Bureau Branch to handle!

"Chief Tax Officer, the workload really is huge, so why don't we have them process it at our bureau instead?"

In Nisen's view,

Moving personnel over was troubleso, and they had to bring over equipnt and materials, which would make processing procedures much slower than at the bureau.

David looked at him, sowhat speechlessly, and explained, "What do you think is easier: collecting taxes in front of our planes and cannons, or back at the bureau?"

Upon hearing this, Nisen imdiately slapped his forehead, realizing his question had been quite foolish.

With their planes and cannons still situated here, it acted as a trendous psychological deterrent; whether it was the Native Aricans or the criminals inside, they dared not act rashly and had no choice but to obediently pay taxes!

"Alright, I'll go inform them!"

...

Main Street Sub-Bureau Branch, Chief's Office.

Apart from Katharine, the bureau's deputy chiefs, Keanu, and another Tax Investigator, along with two Deputy Tax Inspectors, all senior officials had gathered here.

They were currently watching the live broadcast from the Indian tribe playing on the big screen hanging on the wall.

"Damn that Lake District Sub-Bureau Branch, they really made a na for themselves this ti!"

Pullman Quinel from the Main Street Sub-Bureau Branch cursed with dissatisfaction.

Although the others didn't voice it, they too displayed jealousy, envy, and frustration.

Since the era of Al Capone, this was another instance of the tax authority's ard forces making a reappearance!

Moreover, critically, the tax authority had this ti deployed M1 series tank squadrons, armored vehicle combat squads, Apache, Black Hawk helicopter combat squads, as well as various top-tier fighter jet squadrons, stunning the entire United States and the world.

As the masterminds behind all this, whether it was David or the Lake District Sub-Bureau Branch, they were destined to beco famous and go down in history!

If only such an honor had been bestowed upon the Main Street Sub-Bureau Branch, oh, how wonderful that would have been...

"Damn that Dieter, and the Indian tribe too, giving the Lake District Sub-Bureau Branch such a great opportunity. Why can't our Main Street Sub-Bureau Branch encounter sothing like that!"

Pullman grumbled again resentfully.

The tax authority's ard forces were not sothing one could simply request to deploy at will.

Firstly, it had to involve a very bad incident.

Like the attempt on David's life by Dieter, and considering that David was currently the star Chief Tax Officer of Nevada State, the incident was extrely serious.

Secondly, the state bureau had very strict procedures and paperwork for dispatching ard forces, so you needed a complete chain of evidence, along with all the necessary paperwork, to get approved.

Both of these were encountered by the Lake District and dealt with.

That's why the deploynt of the ard forces ended up under the Lake District's na!

"Giggle giggle giggle..."

Just as the office atmosphere had turned a bit somber, soone knocked at the door.

"Co in!"

The next second, Katharine's assistant entered and said, "Chief, we just received a notice that the Lake District Sub-Bureau Branch is applying to the municipal bureau for civilian staff to go to the Indian reservation!"

"Applying for civilian staff?"

This caught Katharine and the others sowhat off guard.

With such a big move by the Lake District, wasn't it just to capture Dieter? What were they doing sending civilian staff to the reservation now?

"Wait a minute..."

Keanu seed to realize sothing and imdiately said, "As far as I know, there are many criminals conducting transactions within the Indian reservation. Could the Lake District's request for personnel have sothing to do with that?"
