In front of an old house.

William stood on the opposite side of the road.

According to Vincent's confession, it didn't take him long to find the place.

"Trudy's House of Wax."

William looked at the standing sign beside the wax museum.

He rembered that there were two works related to "Wax Museum." The earlier one was fild in 1953. The story started with the wax museum's business being bleak. To cheat insurance money, the partner burned the owner's collection, causing the latter to start using human bodies as raw materials for wax figures.

The one William encountered in Ambrose currently should belong to the "new work" of the early 21st century.

In this story, the first owners of the wax museum were the Sinclair couple.

The wife, Trudy Sinclair, was a well-known wax artist, and the husband, Dr. Sinclair, was a surgeon in a big city.

The two claid to the outside world that "they settled in Ambrose for career developnt."

But the truth of these words was open to question.

Judging from inco alone, big cities had more population and more developed economies.

For Trudy and Sinclair, staying there obviously had more room for growth.

A remote small town had neither advanced dical equipnt nor many people interested in art.

Without a special purpose premise.

Anyone with average intelligence wouldn't think this was a good choice.

Not to ntion the couple belonged to the elite class.

However, the original work used Vincent's mouth to tell another version—Dr. Sinclair was exposed for "illegal dical practice," which eventually led to his dical license being revoked.

That was why he had to take his wife to Ambrose.

In the first few years of living in the town, the couple indeed lived a peaceful life, and many wax figure enthusiasts ca to the town to visit.

But all this was broken after Trudy beca pregnant.

When Dr. Sinclair delivered his wife with joy, he found that she gave birth to conjoined twins.

In an era where transportation was not so developed, this was undoubtedly a "shaful thing for the family."

For the dignity of the "Sinclair Clan" and confidence in his own dical skills.

Dr. Sinclair perford separation surgery privately.

The final result was very successful; he separated the two sons, allowing them to have independent lives.

That is, the later Vincent and Bo.

However, because Bo's "face" was connected very tightly with Vincent during the surgery.

Therefore, Dr. Sinclair was still a bit biased—he sacrificed Bo to let Vincent beco the complete person.

This was also the reason why "Bo's" face was destroyed.

The subsequent story had few surprises.

As a wax art practitioner, Trudy's pursuit of "perfection" was almost pathological.

Therefore, she favored Vincent more and was extrely strict with Bo.

Any child born in a certain Eastern country in the 80s and 90s knows:

Excessive spoiling and suppression are not conducive to a child's psychological growth.

Therefore, both Vincent and Bo inevitably developed in the direction of "psychological distortion."

However, both brothers inherited Trudy's wax craftsmanship.

Therefore, after their parents passed away one after another, Vincent and Bo started the art of "human wax figures."

This part of the story described Lester very little. William guessed that this should be a setting forcibly pieced together by the director.

Its purpose might still be for the reason of "leaving suspense at the end of a horror movie."

In the original work, the wax museum's weakness was fire.

Therefore, William found a lot of accelerants nearby.

As soon as he arrived nearby, he observed the entire house with [Night Vision].

The result goes without saying.

This place was full of resentnt; entering rashly would undoubtedly face many dangers.

Therefore, William chose to wait outside.

With the holy artifacts he gave, Sadie and the other two should be able to resist Bo's ntal intrusion.

If the latter intended to solve the problem physically, Sadie's fists were not made of dough.

Of course, provided she didn't lie about her strength.

But after waiting outside for a while, there was no movent inside the house.

This was obviously a bit wrong.

So William took out a monocular from his bag, then picked up a few crushed stones by the roadside.

Smash.

Accompanying the shattering of glass, the interior of the wax museum beca clearer.

"No obvious bloodstains on the first floor... but what is this?"

William narrowed his eyes and found an amulet on the carpet.

This was one of the holy artifacts he gave to the three earlier.

Carly and Wade held amulets, while Sadie held a crucifix.

Seeing this, the corner of William's mouth twitched.

"Is it the iron law of horror movies—one must lose their life-saving item before encountering danger?"

If so, sothing likely happened to the three.

Although Sadie was unlikely to make such a mistake, in similar scenarios, once soone ssed up, they would soon drag others down.

William put away the telescope and began to make arrangents around the house.

Wax Museum Basent.

Huff... puff...

Sadie leaned against the wall, panting heavily.

There was a cut on her forehead, and blood flowed down her brow bone into her eyes.

She didn't dare to move recklessly, only wiping it with one hand, while the other hand held the crucifix firmly.

Opposite her, Carly and Wade both held long knives, walking slowly toward Sadie.

Not long ago, the three successfully found the wax museum.

Because William had instructed them, they knew there was another enemy in the house.

And following William these days, Sadie's vigilance had improved a lot.

She didn't rush in, but first figured out the layout of the wax museum.

Then she supervised Carly and Wade to wear their amulets properly before leading the way into the house.

At first, the three indeed encountered so strange things.

Tables moving inexplicably, wax figures rolling their eyes, and even doors of so rooms closing suddenly, trying to separate the three.

But these were all resolved by Sadie.

Just when she thought this trip would be relatively smooth, an accident happened.

Sadie obviously didn't know much about horror movies.

She only focused on the surrounding environnt and neglected vigilance toward her companions.

Under a "coincidence," the amulet on Wade's chest fell to the ground.

His mind was invaded at that mont, and he turned around and pounced on Carly.

At this step, Sadie could still control the situation with her strength.

But Bo obviously wouldn't stop there.

He used the two young people and Sasha's lives as leverage to force Sadie to give up resistance.

(In the wax museum, Sadie had ntioned coming here to find soone.)

And to find Bo's true body, Sadie also pretended to cooperate.

But in the end, Bo was one step ahead.

Although Sadie found Sasha, she was also trapped.

She wanted to strike first, getting close to Bo to subdue him.

But when she made a move, she was surrounded by a group of dead spirits.

They were souls trapped in this house, all killed by the wax museum brothers when they were alive.

Even after death, they could not rest in peace, controlled by Bo's ntal power, becoming the latter's slaves.

Facing spiritual enemies, Sadie was helpless.

Only the crucifix given by William protected her, becoming the last line of defense.

But at this mont, this line was also about to be broken.

Since Carly and Wade were humans, the amulet (on Sadie/William's power) wouldn't hurt them.

And Bo also took advantage of this.

He used the dead spirit slaves to restrict the movent of this female demon hunter, and then controlled the two humans to attack her.

A trace of helplessness flashed in Sadie's eyes.

She looked at the cellar staircase, hoping to see that figure.

"Give up the struggle, and I'll give you a quick death."

Bo spoke hoarsely.

Not long ago, he lost contact with Vincent; these outsiders must have done sothing!

Just as Bo planned to imprison the female demon hunter, he suddenly frowned.

A picture appeared in his mind—a burning match was thrown into the wax museum.
