"William, leave and run."

Jenny whispered.

"They didn't eat before; maybe it's the sa this ti. I'll hold them back for you."

Any man hearing a lady say such words would feel compelled to do sothing.

William was naturally the sa.

"Don't talk, hold on to tightly." He said in a deep voice.

Then he threw out three bottles of 20-year vintage Holy Water.

Relying on their strong bodies, the Mountain n actually reached out and grabbed the glass bottles.

Crack.

Accompanied by three shattering sounds, Holy Water flowed down through their fingers.

A sizzling burning sound instantly rang in the air.

The Mountain n lowered their heads.

Although they couldn't feel pain, the dissolving palms warned them—this thing was dangerous.

The affected Mountain n tried to shake off the Holy Water.

But the Holy Power attached to it was like ants, eating away at their bodies bit by bit.

Until finally, not even the skeletons remained.

The companions aside looked solemn and retreated a few steps respectively.

But the Mountain Man corpses (undead/puppets) had no fear.

After one corpse dissolved, the rest rushed up again.

However, William had already bought ti.

His body emitted a faint light, and his figure disappeared from the spot instantly.

When he appeared again, he was already near the altar.

William turned his head and whispered sothing to Jenny, who nodded half-understandingly.

On the other side.

Seeing the humans running to the altar themselves, and with dead corpses leading the charge, the Mountain Man squad rushed up screaming imdiately.

In the next second, many light blue energies floated out from the altar.

Imdiately after, a large number of dead spirits walked out from it.

They stared at the two humans with resentnt, approaching them step by step.

"Oh my God! William, look, our retreat is cut off!" Jenny shouted suddenly.

William turned his head instantly, then involuntarily retreated several steps.

But the dead spirits were faster, subrging the two in the blink of an eye.

"Ahhh!"

"No!"

Outside the altar, the Mountain n only heard a few shouts; the voices beca weaker and weaker, and finally disappeared completely.

One of the Sharp-Mouthed Mountain n growled low, and those dead corpses stopped in place imdiately.

Then the forr signaled its companions to go to the altar.

Living people are the most delicious food, not to ntion "Sharp Mouth" also saw a human female.

It happened to be the ti for reproduction recently; such a "Tool" could not be wasted.

Just as a few Mountain n approached the altar, the surrounding dead spirits sward up.

The forr imdiately drew the whip hanging on their bodies and lashed fiercely at the dead spirits.

The dead spirits soon made a way, and then those Mountain n disappeared into the nurous "Figures."

Sharp Mouth waited for a long ti but didn't see its companions co out, so it also stepped forward personally.

After threatening the dead spirits as usual, Sharp Mouth entered the altar.

But imdiately it found its companions lying on the ground, surrounded by dead spirits.

The latter were biting the souls of the Mountain n to their heart's content.

Seeing this, Sharp Mouth was about to attack imdiately, but found that its own power was constantly being extracted.

It growled low, trying to leave the altar.

But the dead spirits pounced on it again.

Sharp Mouth soon felt a feeling it had never experienced before—Pain.

This ca from the depths of the soul and could not be eliminated by evil power.

Until death, Sharp Mouth didn't understand why these dead spirits would help those two humans.

At the sa ti, on the other side of the altar.

William and Jenny had already moved far away.

"Ha! We are aweso!"

Jenny waved her fist.

"William, how was my acting just now?"

"I think you will be a good actress," William said.

"Thanks for the complint." Jenny had a blush on her cheeks, obviously in a good mood.

Just now, relying on the cover of the dead spirits, William set up an isolation magic array on the altar.

In this way, the dead spirits could take revenge personally.

On the way next, the two encountered several squads of Mountain n.

But with the help of the dead spirits, they passed safe and sound.

Before long, in front of a huge cave.

This was already the hinterland of the dense forest, very far from the nearest highway.

Compared to the edge area, there were quite a few flowers and plants here.

There were straw beds woven from leaves on the ground, which were also cleaned very thoroughly.

There was also a row of wooden racks at the entrance of the cave.

The goods on them were displayed neatly, but a closer look revealed that these were all certain parts of human bodies.

The whole scene looked quite weird.

"Did these Mountain n evolve a higher civilization?" William pondered secretly.

Not long after, a figure appeared in the dense forest.

Judging from the dress, it should be a Mountain Man, but its appearance was very similar to a human.

It carried a live rabbit in its hand and entered the cave quickly.

Before long, it appeared again, still carrying the rabbit in its hand.

And judging from the facial expression, it seed a little depressed.

Just as William was pondering, he saw the surface of the Mountain Man's skin flowing.

Then several slender tentacles erged from it.

Relying on [Holy Eye], William observed many mouthparts at the end of the tentacles.

In the next second, these mouthparts bit the live rabbit together.

The latter struggled hard, but under the control of the Mountain Man, it was difficult to escape.

Gurgle.

So substances were sent into the Mountain Man's body through the tentacles, and the rabbit's body also shriveled rapidly.

Soon only a skin remained.

Seeing this, Jenny's eyes were full of panic.

She tugged at William's sleeve and whispered: "If you hadn't co, would I have beco like that too?"

"I will take you out." William said seriously.

"Thank you, I won't be a burden." Jenny wiped the corners of her eyes.

Since the number of enemies in the cave was unclear, William didn't rush to act.

Instead, he took Jenny to explore the surrounding environnt first.

The cave was halfway up the mountain, and almost all Mountain n lived nearby.

The periphery was a dense forest. Except for the squads delivering food, few Mountain n appeared here.

But from William's perspective, he could discover many warning lines composed of energy fluctuations.

Once touched, the whereabouts might be exposed imdiately.

Fortunately, relying on [Holy Eye], William avoided all these traps.

However, in this way, it was sowhat difficult to set up magic arrays near the cave.

But his luck seed good.

There was an altar on the west side of the mountainside cave, and the dead spirits had been waiting for William for a long ti.

Ti soon ca to night.

A monocular telescope extended from the treetop, facing the cave entrance directly.

Although visibility was low, William still saw the situation inside clearly.

The entire cave seed to be a breeding ground.

Many spherical objects hung from the top, with embryos vaguely floating in the center inside.

And below, there were specialized Mountain n responsible for caretaking.

Looking deeper, William raised an eyebrow suddenly.

A huge figure was stuck at the end of the cave.

This thing was naked all over, with pustules on its skin.

In appearance, it was very similar to the Mountain n of the second layer.

But there were many normal-sized Mountain n around it, and the latter were extrely respectful.

"Could this be the Progenitor Mountain Man?" William pondered secretly.

He saw those small Mountain n delivering food to that huge figure from ti to ti.

There were even people specially responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of the Progenitor Mountain Man.

"It seems this guy has difficulty moving and has a noble status."

William had an idea imdiately.

Such an enemy was simply the best choice for a hostage.

Just as he was thinking about the kidnapping plan, the next scene surprised him imnsely.

He saw a team of small Mountain n, naked, lining up to co to the side of the Progenitor Mountain Man.

They held certain animal organs in their hands and stuffed them into their mouths respectively.

Imdiately after, the skin of these Mountain n began to heat up, and their emotions beca excited.

Then the tentacle mouthparts on their bodies flew out and extended, biting the skin of the Progenitor Mountain Man.

From William's perspective, a force was being transmitted from these small Mountain n into the Progenitor's body.

And a light blue halo also lit up on the latter's abdon, revealing the small figure inside.

"This seems to be an embryo... then aren't these Mountain n..."

William's worldview was almost shattered.

If he rembered correctly, these Mountain n were all born within the tribe.

Then they should all be the offspring of the Progenitor Mountain Man, but now these monsters actually...

At this mont, William regretted accepting this commission imnsely.

The impact of the scene in front of him was no less than a ntal pollution from a Demon God.

He might have to spend his whole life forgetting this scene.

But this also allowed him to find a way to deal with the Mountain n.

In the latter half of the night, the Mountain n left the cave one after another, exhausted physically.

The Progenitor Mountain Man also entered a deep sleep.

William jumped down from the tree and quietly groped to the edge of the cave.

After setting up backup holy artifacts at the entrance, he entered the depths of the cave.

There was no sll of blood inside; instead, there was a faint fragrance.

William soon ca to the Progenitor Mountain Man. Looking at close range, this guy appeared even larger.

He didn't waste ti and soon found the location where the Mountain Man was "Nurturing."

After taking out so holy artifacts from his cloth bag, he made so arrangents around.

Then he left quickly.

Ti soon reached late night on the second day.

The small Mountain n queued up again to enter the cave.

Tentacle mouthparts soon connected to the Progenitor Mountain Man.

The latter's abdon lit up again.

Compared with yesterday, the embryo inside seed to have beco a little larger.

But at this ti, an accident happened.

After the first small Mountain Man finished, the Progenitor's abdon did not emit blue light.

This indicated that the embryo had not received the "Nourishnt" of the bloodline.

Therefore, the small Mountain Man was stopped imdiately and pushed back to the Progenitor's side again.

The forr let out a low growl, obviously dissatisfied with this.

But for the future of the Mountain Man race, it could only overdraw its body again.

A mont later, the small Mountain Man looked exhausted.

But the embryo still didn't change.

The forr imdiately showed a pleading look.

Seeing this, the supervisor aside thought the Progenitor Mountain Man had so special changes recently.

This situation had happened in the past, so it let the first one leave.

Next, the subsequent small Mountain n experienced the sa situation.

They all contributed the purest bloodline, even exceeding a lot compared to the past.

But the embryo was like an abyss, remaining motionless.

At this ti, the Progenitor Mountain Man moved its body.

The servants aside bowed down imdiately.

They understood that the forr was already dissatisfied.

So they no longer let the small Mountain n leave, but forced them again and again. When necessary, even the servants themselves would go into battle personally.

This situation continued for two days.

By the third day, there was not a single normal Mountain Man near the cave.

Their physical bodies had shriveled a lot, and the food in the third layer had long been consud.

But at night, they still had to co to the end of the cave and contribute their strength.

At the sa ti, on the cliff outside the cave.

William passed the Reversal Array, converting the evil power inside into Holy Power, and rging it into the magic array in the altar.

"These guys have such good stamina?"
