In 1966, the AFL (Arican Football League) officially rged with the NFL (National Football League). Each year, the champions of the two leagues would et for a climactic showdown to crown the season's ultimate champion. This event was nad the Super Bowl, marking the beginning of a new era in football.
For the Kansas City Chiefs, their legacy is deeply intertwined with the history of the ga. Despite being founded relatively late in 1959—decades behind the league's traditional powerhouses—they quickly established themselves as a formidable team.
This was largely thanks to their founder, Lamar Hunt.

Lance shrugged nonchalantly. "I'm pretty sure he's not the only one."
