Everything began with a bolt of lightning streaking across the sky, bringing a plague from another world. Rolling black clouds unleashed an endless hunger, introducing a decayed superhero into this world.
This corrupted being feasted on the Avengers, infecting them into soulless monsters. Within just 24 hours, they destroyed all of Earth's civilization.
After devouring Galactus in their ravenous hunger, these zombie superheroes absorbed his boundless cosmic energy.
From that mont onward, they were no longer just a threat to their own universe—they beca a catastrophe for the entire multiverse.
After contracting the zombie virus, these zombie heroes entered another universe: Earth-Z.
Originally, this was a peaceful parallel universe. Now, however, these pitifully infected beings were wreaking havoc, destroying an innocent world.
Seeking redemption for his actions, Zombie Spider-Man scoured this dangerous universe, desperately searching for a way to combat the zombie virus.
Yes, this is the tiline most people are familiar with—the usual course of events in the countless loops of the Z Universe.
But everything was about to change dramatically. Sotis, even a slight deviation or a single different choice can send the future in a completely new direction.
As soone who was originally ant to bring salvation to this world, what would happen if Zombie Spider-Man beca a prisoner to his hunger? Who would save this universe drowning in despair?
Ant-Man descended into the Blue Area of the Moon, bringing the plague to the peaceful Inhumans. After devouring and slaughtering all their kin, these infected beings even turned the tables on the Hulk when he ca to seek vengeance.
When Hulk tricked and infected the greatest Sentry, this universe was dood.
Together, they swept across the cosmos. Now, in this desolate world devoid of life, the remaining zombie heroes were ready to shift their sights.
They now set their eyes on other universes, preparing for an even greater blood feast.

This place now bears no traces of corruption. The monsters infected by the zombie virus remain dangerous, but they do not warrant my direct intervention.
Fortunately, I am not alone. In another corner of the cosmos, in a shadowy reflection, I can see a door slowly opening.
The legendary heroes are gathering once again.

The perspective zooms out.
In the Z Universe, within a peaceful-looking New York City, the strongest zombie heroes in the world had gathered inside Avengers Tower. Outside the tower, piles of bones stacked into mountains, reaching over ten stories high.
"Not going to lie, being back in the Avengers feels strangely nostalgic," Zombie Moon Knight said, licking his teeth with a cold sneer.
No longer under the control of the moon god Khonshu, Zombie Moon Knight, now a corrupted demigod, needed only to devour flesh to continue wielding the moon god's powers.
Although Khonshu might consider this sacrilege, it no longer mattered.
When the plague struck, the gods and other dinsions had already severed ties with this universe. Now, with no external energy to empower it, the heroes' abilities were entirely fueled by the energy of consud flesh.
Sitting around the Avengers' round table with Zombie Moon Knight were Zombie Sentry, Zombie Hulk, Zombie Quasar, Zombie Quicksilver, Zombie Spider-Man, Zombie Namor, Zombie Thundra, and Zombie Super-Skrull.
Together, they were the last survivors of this world—and its strongest zombie heroes.
"Too bad about the old wolf. If he hadn't been so stubborn back then, maybe he'd still be here with us," Zombie Spider-Man said with a grin.
Once a friendly neighborhood hero beloved by the people of New York, Spider-Man had lost all traces of humanity. When the corruption left this universe, Spider-Man had beco a complete monster.
"Wolverine, huh? Honestly, killing him with my own hands was painful. He was a perfect zombie. He didn't deserve such an end," Zombie Sentry said, shaking his head.
But his tone quickly shifted, and a sinister smile appeared. "Still, wanting to avenge Kitty? That sentint is what led to his demise."
"Speaking of which, that little girl's flesh was absolutely delicious," Zombie Namor said, savoring the mory of Shadowcat, Kitty Pryde.
Unlike Shadowcat in the original zombie universe, who survived, the more powerful Z Universe proved fatal even for soone who could phase through any object. She was ultimately consud.
Zombie Quasar used the quantum bands to suppress Kitty in deep water until she couldn't resist surfacing for air, forcing her back into her corporeal form.
That was when Zombie Namor struck, tearing through Kitty's throat in a single bite, sealing her fate and turning Logan into their eternal enemy.
"That's what stuck with you the most? Don't forget, I single-handedly devoured every student at Xavier's School for Gifted Youngsters. Now 'that' was satisfying," Zombie Quicksilver said with a cold laugh.
"Shut up, Quicksilver. That was just an appetizer. When Orm and his underwater tribe thought they'd be safe hiding in the Mariana Trench…"
Zombie Namor's face twisted into a predatory grin.
"Oh, you should've seen their expressions."
"I can't understand your incomprehensible sentints, fish-man," Zombie Thundra said, folding her arms.
Hearing this, Zombie Namor's expression darkened. He sneered sarcastically, "Oh really, Thundra? Guess what? I can't understand you either. You should realize sothing—if you allowed n's flesh into your mouth, your food options would increase many tis over."
"Absolutely not, fish-man," Zombie Thundra replied with a disgusted expression, her tone resolute.
"I cannot allow the flesh of n, carrying unique chromosos, to contaminate my perfect warrior physique," she declared coldly.
Thundra was once the leader of a feminist nation in North Arica from a future Earth and one of the most powerful female heroes. To find superior genetic material to produce a successor for her kingdom, she had traveled back in ti to the current Earth, attempting to rge genes with the Hulk to create a strong daughter.
In other universes, that was how her story unfolded.
But here, Thundra's plan failed. Not only did she fail to achieve her goal, but she was also infected by the zombie virus, permanently trapped in this universe as one of the zombie heroes.
"Enough! I can't stand this anymore. We are the most powerful beings in this world, but look at us now. Besides reminiscing about the past, what else can we do?"
The Zombie Super Skrull roared in fury, glaring at the other zombie heroes as he spoke grimly.
"Every wonderful mory we recall is an insult to our present because it reminds us that there are no enemies left to defeat, no flesh left to devour. So..."
Turning to the communicator nearby, the Zombie Super Skrull shouted in anger.
"You damn crawler! Haven't you figured out how the Watcher's dinsional transport device works yet?!"
On the massive screen, a red figure turned his head awkwardly upon hearing the outburst.
On the other side of the communicator was Hank Pym, the Zombie Ant-Man, who was fiddling with the device in his hands while offering a sheepish smile.
"Hi, guys! Great to see you..."
"Cut the crap, Pym! You've been in our universe for decades. Don't tell you still haven't cracked the Watcher's technology?!" Zombie Super Skrull gritted his teeth as he spoke.
"You see... this is the difference between us," Pym said, spreading his hands, carefully choosing his words before replying with a grin.
"Violence isn't the answer to everything. The Watcher's technology is countless eras ahead of ours. Trust , these technologies were designed with safeguards against brute-force tampering."
"So, what are you saying, Pym? We've provided you with everything you've ever asked for," Zombie Sentry added, standing up with an annoyed look.
"Yes, yes, of course..." Pym's gaze flitted over to the severed heads connected to data transmission devices, looking slightly uneasy.
The owners of those heads were none other than the smartest superheroes and villains on Earth in the Z Universe.
To better analyze and decode the Watcher's technology, Pym had chosen to replace standard processors with human brains for complex calculations, making these intellectual giants his pri targets.
Even in their zombified state, the heads could survive for extended periods, giving Pym the ti he needed to complete his work.
"...Actually, folks, I'm almost done cracking it. I just need a little more ti. Just a bit more," Pym said with a pleading tone.
"Our patience is wearing thin, Pym. This endless hunger is driving insane. You'd better find us a universe with fresh at soon, or..."
(Alert!—Alert—!)
Before Zombie Sentry could finish his threat, an urgent alarm sounded, drawing everyone's attention.
"What the hell is that?" Zombie Sentry frowned.
"It seems... it seems to be the hunger alert?" Zombie Moon Knight said uncertainly, his tone reflecting his confusion. That alarm hadn't sounded in ages.
"It's Xavier!"
Quick as lightning, Zombie Quicksilver reacted first, a grin spreading across his face.
"Xavier must have detected traces of fresh at on this planet using the Cerebro amplifier! I get it. We must have missed sothing before."
In a flash of silver, Quicksilver dashed to the Cerebro chamber, where the zombified Professor X was pinned at the center of the machine.
Xavier's vacant eyes stared blankly ahead, drool dripping from his mouth as though he was trying to say sothing.
But Quicksilver paid no attention. Fixating on the virtual map displayed above, he saw a giant red beacon, his smile growing wider.
"Aha!"
"Sentry, guess what I found."
"According to Xavier's scan, there's still fresh at lingering on the outskirts of New York!"
"I rember that place..."
"It's a junkyard."
