Another year had co, and during the New Year's vacation, Martin had borrowed Leonardo's small island in the Caribbean Sea, enjoying a joyous holiday with Lily and Elizabeth.
Lily and Elizabeth hadn't taken a long vacation in a while, and the three of them stayed for quite so ti, returning to Los Angeles just as the Golden Globe Awards had just ended.
"La La Land" swept the Golden Globe Awards, capturing several categories including Best Musical or Cody Film, Best Actor, and Best Actress.
Silsa Ronan also received the most significant award of her career.
She held a party to celebrate it but did not invite Martin and others; she only invited a few girls she had known in recent years.
Back then, as Martin's student, Silsa used to frequent Martin's house, becoming familiar with Martin's neighbor, Kristen-Stuart, and eting plenty of local Hollywood girls.
Such as the Fanning Sisters and the Stallone Sisters.
These were mainly who Silsa invited to the party.
"Best Actress at the Golden Globes, huh?" Sophia Stallone fondled Silsa's trophy, her eyes filled with envy, "We don't even understand acting yet, and you've already snagged such a big award."
Her sister Sistine Stallone said, "You're an actress too, but you don't have any morable roles."
The youngest sister, Scarlett, who was twelve, knew about Hollywood matters. "Sophia is as dumb as a pig, with no talent at all."
Elle Fanning laughed loudly, turning to Silsa, "Can you share what your secret to success is?"
"Because I have a great teacher!" Silsa emphasized her words. "My teacher's help has been imnse."
Dakota Fanning looked on enviously, "A teacher like Martin, who wouldn't want that?"
Sophia ca over from behind, hugged Dakota, and said, "If you had a teacher like Martin, transitioning wouldn't be so difficult."
Dakota's face turned dark, but what Sophia said was true; before she was fifteen, Dakota was Hollywood's most spirited child actress, then her career stalled—not even leading roles, let alone substantial supporting ones.
Elle asked curiously, "Silsa, even though you're Martin's student, he must have so other conditions for helping you so much?"
The Stallone sisters perked up their ears; growing up in Hollywood, they were very curious about such gossip.
Silsa knew what the question implied and because of her ulterior motives, she openly said, "It's nothing much; I often dance for the teacher and play so gas with him, you know."
Sophia couldn't help asking, "I heard so rumors, is Martin really strong?"
"Very strong, not just physically, but his skills are top-notch." Silsa didn't need to brag, only tell the truth. "Frankly, it's very tough for one person to handle, I always lose control. Don't know if you've experienced it, but it's the kind where you think of nothing, and your mind goes blank, just wanting to fly forever in the sky, even if it ans dying right there."
Everyone piqued with intense curiosity, as if discussing intimate secrets among close friends, they pressed Silsa for more details.
Silsa, picking what she could disclose, truthfully told so.
These revelations amazed the crowd.
Silsa also took the opportunity to probe their secrets, using this occasion to grow closer and beco genuine confidantes.
Girls of the new era, growing up in the chaotic entertainnt industry, were more curious and loved to play.
Silsa said again, "Since Harvey Weinstein's downfall, Hollywood's ecosystem has sowhat improved, but for actresses to get ahead without soone backing them is impossible."
Dakota knew the difficulties very well; "You're right. Instead of engaging with many, it's better to stick with one! Even if you engage with many, their promises are as good as none. Inside the circle, trustworthy big shots like Martin are too few."
Elle knew that especially attractive actresses faced certain realities as they grew up, her sister being a typical case of playing with many but gaining little.
Silsa ntioned, "I'm one of the lucky ones, having t my teacher early. He not only instructed ticulously, but he also fulfilled every promise he made."
Dakota was very envious. "Actually, I t Martin much earlier. Unfortunately..."
Elle Fanning interjected, "I once acted with Martin in the sa movie, 'The Curious Case of Benjamin Button', where I and Elizabeth Olsen played the sa role."
Silsa rembered the film. "Martin rembers you too, he said you're a particularly spirited actress."
"Really?" Elle Fanning showed surprise.
Sophia chid in, "Martin didn't ntion ?"
Silsa responded with a smile, "The three of you sisters are so outstanding, Martin always rembers you."
They all laughed and chatted very congenially. During the conversation, Silsa suggested they should regularly hold parties to maintain their sisterly relationship, and everyone agreed.
During the lively chat, Silsa asked Sophia, "I rember you're turning 18 this year. When are you holding your adulthood party? So we can prepare your gifts in advance."
Sophia replied, "My birthday is in August. I'll call you guys then, and you must co to the party."
Elle Fanning added, "I'll turn sixteen in April, planning to have a small party, and only you guys are invited."
Sistine Stallone noted, "Elle and I are the sa age."
