Los Angeles, Griffith Observatory.

Martin stood alone on the observation deck, gazing at a private residence near the park.

It was sowhat distant, and aside from the faint lights, nothing else could be seen.

But he knew that Ryan Reynolds's party would be starting soon.

In order to push the "Deadpool" movie project forward, this Canadian actor, who had previously suffered a disastrous flop with "Green Lantern," was truly going all out.

He sold the house he had shared with his ex-wife Scarlett Johansson to fund the party.

He had paid a high price to get his hands on a key present from Michel Brian, sothing that could sway a few high-level executives at Fox.

Martin ca down from the observation deck, surrounded by bodyguards who accompanied him to the parking lot.

Just then, Bruce returned by car.

Martin directly boarded the Escalade Bruce had driven, and a few other cars started descending together.

Bruce said, "All three plans are ready."

Martin asked, "There won't be any problems with TMZ, right?"

"An ambitious little team specifically recomnded by Jody," Bruce said succinctly. "We did not go through Jody. Instead, as informants, we notified this team. Their leader, Holden is an ambitious and resourceful young man, he won't miss such a news lead."

Martin said, "To force their hand with public opinion, I wonder how effective it will be."

A few years before, the incident involving Michel Brian had been nipped in the bud without any public attention, just a fine of 35,000 US dollars had been paid.

This ti, even if they secretly called the police, the outco might not necessarily be any better.

Similar incidents, if pursued purely out of a sense of justice, might turn out even worse, possibly landing oneself in trouble too.

Bruce responded, "If we keep it within the scope of Michel, I think the resistance won't be that strong."

Martin nodded slightly, "I didn't have anything else in mind. Trying to turn into a junkie, and taking action to do so, they should pay so price."

Bruce added, "The last two plans are just backups, hopefully we won't need them."

Martin said, "Ryan Reynolds and Michel Brian are mixed up together, hopefully we can resolve it all at once."

...

In the brightly lit mansion, security personnel checked the party supplies being brought in.

A middle-aged man shouted, "Don't panic, move everything outside the hall, hand it off to the waiters."

Seven or eight people carried goods off the vehicles and, after a brief inspection by security, brought everything to the villa's entrance.

Waiters in white shirts were already waiting there.

Among them was Holden.

The deliveryman who brought the boxes approached quickly and placed two boxes in front of Holden.

He lowered his voice, "The stuff is in the cans, I've marked them."

Holden blinked, picked up the boxes and walked into the mansion.

While everyone was busy, he found the marked cans, opened them to retrieve the micro caras, and while setting up the venue, installed them in hiding spots he had previously selected.

Holden had received a tip from an informant that Ryan Reynolds was preparing so special gifts to entertain three heavyweight individuals from the production departnt at Fox.

The source was confident, assuring him it would yield explosive news.

After joining TMZ, Holden had been waiting for a big scoop to stand out among competitors.

In this business, who didn't want to beco an editor-in-chief or even a managing editor?

The path to moving up at TMZ was clear, scoring big news was the way to climb.

The current managing editor at TMZ, Jody, had started as a street paparazza and had risen to managing editor and even won a Pulitzer prize after securing and reporting several big stories.

Such examples lay in front of them, spurring the journalists at TMZ to keep pushing themselves to the limit.

Making use of his waiter identity, Holden installed micro caras in several rooms he deed appropriate and continued to be busy with other tasks.

As night fell, the host of the party, Ryan Reynolds, arrived at the villa with his agent, Cowell.

Not long after, the three high-level executives from the 20th Century Fox production departnt arrived one after another.

The party began, and at first, everything was normal.

The five of them ate, drank, discussed movie-related topics, and shared gossip from the industry.

As Holden was serving drinks, he heard them talking about Martin Davis's scandal.

They said Elizabeth Olsen was an odd one, just because Martin had saved her life in the Burbank Middle School incident, she let Martin fool around anywhere as long as it wasn't in her house or in her face, turning a blind eye to everything else.

Listening in, Holden felt an extraordinary envy; as a man, Martin Davis was a life idol!

Cowell received a phone call and nodded to Ryan Reynolds.

Ryan Reynolds stood up, saying to the waitstaff supervisor, "We don't need any service staff here for now. You guys head to the auxiliary building and don't co out without my notice."

The supervisor imdiately signaled everyone to leave.

As Holden was leaving the villa, he carefully observed and noticed an additional business van parked at the entrance.

Rushed by the supervisor, he didn't linger and followed the rest into the auxiliary building.

As the area quieted down, the door of the business van opened, and soone led three girls into the building.

Ryan Reynolds had spent a significant sum to bring in the party's "gifts," delighting the three Fox executives.

They imdiately gave Ryan Reynolds their promise to fully support the initiation of the "Deadpool" movie project.

Ryan Reynolds laughed with joy, feeling it was all worth it.

As for those three girls, nobody cared what they thought.
