Leonid pulled open the car door, "Get in."

On the other side, Andre called to rally his n, planning to bring all his subordinates over to get Nokia sorted out first.

In Kiev, the disappearance of a pretty woman hardly counted as an incident.

The three of them got into the car and imdiately rushed to the Dnieper Cafe.

It was an old cafe on the verge of closing down, temporarily rented by Andre as a makeshift operation site.

Almost simultaneously, the bearded Victor and a few others also hurried over.

...

Taking the bus back to the hotel, Nicky rifled through her wallet and pulled out so cash.

Ivanna had been her friend since childhood; she would definitely have to help her friend in trouble.

There were rules in the crew, if you wanted to leave the hotel for a bit longer ti, you had to take leave, and you had to ask for leave from Alexandrovich in person.

Nicky imdiately called Alexandrovich, who said he was in a eting and asked her to wait a few minutes.

Alexandrovich was about to communicate with Nicky about how to bait the hook when he received her call, he felt sothing was not quite right and imdiately found Martin and Lebrov.

In the conference room, he quickly explained everything.

"The Dnieper Cafe?" Lebrov consulted Google Maps and said, "That location is pretty remote."

Martin tapped his fingers lightly on the table and said, "I just got a report from my bodyguard who notified Bruce; the guys watching the hotel suddenly pulled out, and Nicky suddenly received a call to leave. What does this indicate?"

Alexandrovich picked up the line, "Are they going to make a move?"

Lebrov said, "Great, the hotel's security team's AKs are already itching for so action!"

Without hesitation, Martin made a decision, "Since the fish has jumped out of the water on its own, there's no ti to lose. Gather the n and follow her imdiately. Mr. Station Director, didn't you contact the Security Bureau? It's their turn to step in."

Lebrov stated, "My guys will cooperate fully with the Security Bureau's operation."

Alexandrovich asked, "Should we notify Nicky to cooperate with us?"

"Why tell her?" Lebrov, who was much more decisive in this area than the still-growing Alexandrovich, interjected: "If she knows the truth, she would hesitate, she would waver. It could arouse the other side's suspicion and potentially lead to the operation's failure."

"I get it." Alexandrovich took out his phone and called Nicky back, telling her leave was approved, but she had to return to the hotel by nine that evening.

At the sa ti, Bruce picked up his phone: "You two, follow Nicky."

Lebrov invited Martin and Alexandrovich: "Let's go over and take a look together."

The group went downstairs together and boarded Lebrov's black bulletproof Humvee, heading east of the city.

...

Nicky ca out of the hotel, pulled down the brim of her hat, got into a taxi, and gave the address.

Not long after the taxi had driven off, two of Martin's bodyguards followed in their vehicle.

These two had followed Martin for years, and while their other skills were diocre, their abilities to track and counter-track were exceptionally strong.

The taxi driver didn't notice the tail behind him.

With so distance maintained, a convoy of five cars was following along, including the bulletproof Humvee carrying Martin.

After two intersections, three vehicles from the Security Bureau joined the convoy.

The people the Security Bureau rushed over with were even fewer than Lebrov's security team from the TV station.

The Dnieper Cafe was not big and was a standalone building. Over the phone on the road, they quickly determined a plan of action.

Martin didn't say anything from start to finish, and he wouldn't show his face again. The real hero of this affair was Alexandrovich.

It was Alexandrovich who discovered the gang and Nicky's anomaly, promptly notified the Security Bureau, cooperated with their operation, and thus saved many people.

Even if no one else was saved, it didn't matter; finding a few actresses for a temporary cao was not a difficult task.

The convoy approached the target location, and the cars dispersed, surrounding the cafe from all directions.

The taxi stopped in front of the cafe; Nicky paid and got out, checking the sign to make sure it was the right place, then pushed open the wooden door to enter.

There weren't many custors inside, just seven people, one of whom was a brunette girl sitting in the farthest corner.

Nicky recognized her at a glance; it was Ivanna.

Ivanna saw Nicky too and waved at her.

Nicky walked briskly over and said, "You..."

Before she could finish, the big-bearded Victor, who was near the door, stood to close the cafe's door.

Andre gave a look, and including Leonid, five n quickly surrounded Nicky.

The cash Nicky held in her hand fell to the ground.

She looked at Ivanna in shock.

The latter bowed her head, not daring to look at her.

Andre approached her, "Miss Nicky, you've been hard to find."

Nicky was full of panic, "You, who are you..."

Andre didn't waste words, "Control her!"

Two n were about to pounce, but saw Victor, who was about to close the door, get kicked back into the shop. He staggered several steps back and sat down heavily on the floor.

Andre's first reaction was to reach for his gun, drawing a pistol and aiming it at the person entering from the storefront.

The other n also drew their guns, pointing them toward the door.

But the person who entered was not panicked at all.

Because a dozen fully ard strong n ca roaring in.

And seven n rushed out from the kitchen area leading to the back door.

Each man was holding an AK or submachine gun.

The intimidating barrels pointed at Andre and his n, ready to open fire at any mont.

"Drop your guns!" the leader Dmitro ordered coldly, "Anyone who makes a move, shoot to kill!"

Andre's hand was shaking.

Leonid glanced at Nicky, turned the gun to take a hostage.

But this was Damao's heir, the second in line!

Bang, bang, bang —

A burst of gunfire erupted, and Leonid's head exploded. He fell to the ground like a broken sack.

The bloody scene was shockingly compelling.

Andre was the first to drop his pistol.

The rest disard one after another.

Then, those in Security Bureau uniforms ca in to take control, Alexandrovich also entered the scene, with a cara crew from the 1 1 TV Channel shouldering their caras, recording everything on site.

Apart from the Security Bureau officials, the hero, of course, was Alexandrovich.
