Atlanta, Peachtree Street, Cola Cult Headquarters.
As Martin had just walked through the door, he saw a dozen people standing in the foyer. Leading them was Elena, dressed in a red dress.
Beside her stood Robert, his slicked-back hair shining brightly.
Elena hurried over and embraced Martin tightly. "You finally decided to visit your headquarters."
Martin smiled and responded, "I co back every few months."
Elena knew it wasn't the ti for lengthy conversations and stepped aside.
"Sect Hierarch," Robert said as he lumbered over with his large head.
Martin embraced him and said, "Thank you for every ritual. They always give peace of mind."
Robert replied with a smile, "Peace of mind allows you to perform at your best."
Martin agreed, "Absolutely, ntal and spiritual states are so important."
In fact, he always regarded Robert's Cola rituals as sothing akin to burning incense and offering pig heads in previous movie crews.
As to whether it truly had an effect, maybe not.
But without doing it, he always felt sothing was missing, making him hesitant in his actions.
Under Robert's guidance, Martin began a grand gift-giving spree, and every mber of the Cola Cult Headquarters received a gift from him.
The Cola Cult Headquarters was not only responsible for rituals but also managed the direct dealings with the Coca-Cola Group for the Cola Cult commorative Coke collaboration.
Robert straightforwardly ntioned, "Last year, during the premiere of 'The Dark Knight Rises,' the video of you using the commorative Coke to knock down gunn went viral online. Sales of the commorative Coke, which had slowed down, surged once again from that point."
Martin joked, "It seems I have to smash a few heads with Coke bottles annually."
With no one else around, Elena spoke bluntly, "That joke isn't funny at all. I'd rather you not earn a share from Coca-Cola than see you face guns again!"
Martin explained, "Such unlucky encounters don't happen often, and we aren't living in slums dealing with dealers all the ti."
Elena, touching the chastity ring on her finger, remarked, "How many tis has it been now?"
"Let's not talk about this anymore, let's go ho," said Martin, taking Elena's hand and waving at Robert, "I plan to host a reception in Atlanta. I'll have Old Cloth contact you."
Robert, who had experience organizing events, replied, "Can do."
Martin and Elena got into the car, Bruce started the engine, and they headed back to the Northville Community.
Watching Peachtree Street through the car window, Elena said, "If we encounter shootings or robberies again, can you try to avoid them? Don't foolishly rush in like an idiot."
Having held those words back for a while, she couldn't restrain herself any longer when the subject ca up, "You've made a na for yourself now, why still risk your life like an idiot?"
"I promise, I'll avoid such situations as much as I can," Martin reassured her, knowing it was out of concern, "But in those incidents, I tried to avoid them too. Who would want to fight for life or death? The problem is, those gunn wouldn't let be; what could I do when they pointed guns at ?"
Elena warned, "Don't make wear full black one day, attending your funeral. If it cos to that, I'll curse you as an idiot in the crudest Atlanta slang in front of all Arica's dia."
Martin swore, "I promise, that day will never co."
Their car pulled up to a detached villa in the Northville Community. Martin got out of the car but stood at the entrance without going in.
Elena opened the door and nudged him, "Co on."
Martin looked at the green lawn in the yard and asked, "Holle hasn't been digging holes, has he?"
"No," Elena walked ahead, "He's busy training and competing daily. He doesn't have ti for digging antics."
Reaching the front of the villa, she took out the keys from her pocket, "Holle hasn't been here in at least two months."
Martin understood the underlying aning in her words, "He bought a house?"
"Not just Holle, Harris has also moved out after buying a new house, though he still lives in this community and cos over at least two or three tis a week," Elena said.
Martin, familiar with the life of a sports star, responded, "Athletes have many competitions."
Elena looked at Martin, thinking of the three younger siblings, said, "Those three idiots have made it this far thanks to you."
She questioned, "Harris made a big chunk of money recently, said to be related to you."
"He helped buy and then sold a lot of fixed assets, completely legal inco," Martin entered the living room. It was still the sa as the last ti he visited. Glancing at the photo of Elena, Harris, Lily, and Holle, he asked, "Is Harris coming today?"
Elena shook her head, "He isn't in Atlanta, went to Savannah to et his girlfriend."
Martin curiously asked, "Girlfriend? And buying a house, Harris isn't thinking about marriage, is he?"
"Marriage? Haha…" Elena said helplessly, "Harris goes through one girlfriend after another, and so does Holle. They both idolize you in this regard."
"Let's not discuss this anymore," Martin said as he carried Elena upstairs, "The Hierarch needs to check on the Holy Maiden."
As they reached the upstairs, Elena said, "Wait a second."
Martin looked at her, puzzled.
Elena raised her hand and took off her chastity ring.
Gray Film and Television Production Center, Georgia's biggest film shooting and production base.
The film crew of "Interstellar," with a production budget of 180 million US Dollars, officially moved in and held a launching ceremony.
Several state senators from Georgia, including Kelly Gray, and even the Mayor of Atlanta, were present.
Hundreds of dia journalists from across Arica gathered.
Just the presence of Christopher Nolan and Martin Davis was enough to attract attention.
Besides, the film crew also managed to draw big stars like Michael Caine, Jessica Chastain, and Anne Hathaway.
With a top director, superstar cast, and top-level production scale, the film's news was imdiately listed by various entertainnt dia as one of the most anticipated ga-productions of 2014.
The ceremony symbolically fild a shot of Martin in an astronaut suit.
Afterward, Martin changed clothes and, like the other actors, participated in a joint dia interview.
A journalist from "The Atlanta Constitution" asked Martin, "This is your third collaboration with Director Nolan. What prompted this new partnership?"
Martin thought for a mont and said, "I didn't attend the screening. Hearing that Director Nolan was preparing a new script, I went to his house and had a good two-hour chat with him, and then we decided to collaborate again."
Another journalist asked, "It is said that there were many difficulties during the preparatory phase, and so of the producers did not want you in the film?"
Martin lied with open eyes, "Of course not. I was approved by Director Nolan quite early, and DreamWorks and Fox also gave the green light, and since I have been a long-term partner with Warner Bros., there were no such issues."
During the launching ceremony, one individual attracted imnse dia attention.
To appear professional, the crew hired Nobel laureate and mber of the Arican National Academy of Sciences, Kip Thorne, as a scientific consultant.
Martin wasn't quite clear on other details, but after Kip Thorne ca onboard, he spent a week convincing Nolan to abandon the idea of faster-than-light spaceship travel.
As for technology and astrophysics and the like, Martin didn't understand them and had no involvent; he would perform however the crew decided to shoot.
After the launching ceremony, the crew held a reception party at a nearby five-star hotel.
Martin was familiar with many political figures from Georgia and Atlanta. As a Southern state, Georgia's politics had notably leaned left in recent years.
After mingling for a while, Martin finally had a chance to speak privately with Kelly Gray, asking her, "When are you planning to run for Mayor of Atlanta or Governor of Georgia?"
Kelly Gray replied, "The Mayor of Atlanta is in the planning stages, Governor... still a bit far off."
Martin responded, "I'm really looking forward to the day you beco the first female President of Arica."
Kelly Gray tilted her head, looking at Martin, said, "Unless you marry ."
Martin spread his hands, "What does marrying you have to do with it?"
Kelly Gray asked, "Have you ever seen a presidential candidate without a family?"
"I wanted to marry you back then, and you weren't interested," Martin expressed his helplessness, "Now I don't want to marry, and you're trying to entice ."
Kelly Gray unveiled his true intention, "Was that you wanting to marry ? You just wanted a long-term free ride, to settle down comfortably! Had I agreed then, would there ever be an Arican national hero and Sect Leader Martin Davis of the Cola Cult?"
Martin retorted, "Should I thank you then?"
Kelly Gray laughed, "Don't ntion it."
Martin said, "When you run for office, I can help cheer you on, but forget about marriage, man's precious freedom, how can it be bounded by politics?"
Kelly Gray said, "If you want to be a playboy, just say so directly, no need for such convoluted reasons."
Martin candidly admitted, "Sorry, I already am."
Hearing this, Kelly Gray, irritated and eager, said, "Co with tonight, I want to bite you hard!"
Martin, unafraid of her, replied, "You know my hotel room. If you want to bite, co clean and find ."
Kelly Gray nodded, "Okay, wait for tonight."
Martin went to find Bruce and discovered him shivering in a corner of the banquet hall's resting area.
Across from him, Sophia, dressed in formal attire that could not hide her muscular physique, eyed Bruce with interest.
Martin, the unfaithful scoundrel, imdiately abandoned Old Cloth, pretending as if he saw nothing, and plunged into a group of crew mbers.
The banquet did not go on too late, as the crew had to start official shooting the next day, and many left the banquet hall shortly after nine.
Martin returned to his room, just took a shower when his door was knocked. Kelly Gray, changed into casual clothes, burst into the room and dialed Louise l on her phone.
This was an old project for the three of them.
Louise's cursing voice soon began to sound until the phone turned off automatically due to battery drain.
