Erging from the restaurant, Ryan Reynolds got into his car and drove for a bit before pulling over to the side of the road.
Although he had developed a decent relationship with Jon Berg during the filming of "Green Lantern," Ryan Reynolds didn't completely believe what Jon Berg had said.
It wouldn't be difficult to verify the truth.
Ryan Reynolds took out his phone, found Scarlett Johansson's private number in his contacts, and dialed it directly.
The call was answered quickly, and it was Scarlett Johansson's voice: "I told you, we don't need to be in contact anymore."
Any divorcee knows that peaceable partings without resentnt are few and far between. Ryan Reynolds tried to ask in as calm a tone as he could muster, "Did you sleep with Martin Davis?"
Scarlett Johansson's imdiate response was: "Yes, I did. An unforgettable experience."
Ryan Reynolds could have swallowed just the first part, but that last bit almost drove him mad.
In this respect, n are always particularly sensitive.
Enraged, Ryan Reynolds demanded, "When I asked you before, you said you never had. Why did you lie to ?"
Her tone provoked Scarlett Johansson, and spiteful words slipped out: "He is a hundred tis better than you; I didn't want to crush your ego."
Ryan Reynolds didn't believe it: "Is that the only reason?"
"Do you have a problem?" Scarlett Johansson snapped before abruptly hanging up.
Sitting in his car, Ryan Reynolds listened to the dial tone, stunned for a mont.
From Scarlett Johansson's attitude and Martin Davis's well-known penchant for others' wives, he could pretty much confirm that soone had ddled with his wife during their marriage.
Even though Ryan Reynolds was already divorced from Scarlett Johansson, he still felt imnsely angry.
What Scarlett did before marriage or after divorce was none of his business, but to do so during their marriage—no man could stand that.
Especially since Ryan Reynolds entertained the notion that his marriage could have been an assignnt Martin had given to Scarlett Johansson.
He wondered if that despicable pair had done the deed beneath their wedding photo.
Ryan Reynolds's head felt heavy as if a fire was burning inside, threatening to consu all his reasoning.
At that mont, he felt the urge to grab a gun or wield a couple of knives and head to Brooklyn Studio to take down Martin Davis.
As this thought passed through Ryan Reynolds's mind, he ca to his senses, realizing that confronting Martin in such a manner was tantamount to suicide.
What to do? Ryan Reynolds considered for a long ti but couldn't think of a good plan, after all, that was a titan.
And he, at best, could be considered a second-tier actor who had botched a major production.
Taking down Martin Davis openly was too difficult.
Just then, Ryan Reynolds's phone rang. He hurriedly answered it.
It was his agent: "The new project and role you've been yearning for, I got in touch with 20th Century Fox. They agreed to et with you. When are you coming back to Los Angeles?"
Ryan Reynolds hesitated for a mont before responding, "I'll take a plane back today."
The agent replied, "Good, I'll arrange the eting. However, I should warn you in advance to prepare yourself; those guys have so peculiar tastes."
Ryan Reynolds inquired, "Do they prefer it from behind? Or n?"
The agent's response was exceedingly cryptic: "Younger."
Ryan Reynolds understood: "We'll talk when I get back."
They hung up, and Ryan Reynolds temporarily put aside thoughts of Martin, well-aware that to tackle soone like Martin Davis, one not only needed substantial personal power but also the right opportunity.
...
New York, Brooklyn Studio.
Inside the filming stage where the "John Wick: Chapter 3" crew was, the rat-a-tat-tat of gunfire continued unabated.
Each ti Martin's Glock spat flas, stunt perforrs fell to the ground as though shot.
The butt of the gun slamming down, combined with swift reloading, flowed seamlessly through Martin's hands like the top expert in a military operation.
Jonathan was besieged on all sides, with every hitman in New York eyeing him hungrily.
The assailants kept coming like an endless swarm of flies.
The nearly minute-long gunfight scene was fild in one continuous shot, and Martin, as if he couldn't control himself, took down several assailants in succession before striding toward the cara with his gun in hand.
According to the script and scene plan, that shot was complete.
But the director, Chad, hadn't called cut.
He watched the monitor, captivated by Martin's particularly potent presence, remaining silent until Martin almost reached the cara track, then he bellowed, "Cut! That take was good!"
Martin stood there, motionless for a mont before snapping out of character, sliding the Glock into his waistband holster.
Chad complinted him, "Nice work, Martin, that shot was amazing, especially that last part, your improvisation was on point!"
Martin stretched out his limbs, very full of himself: "I felt it, couldn't help myself."
The conversation spread to the rest area, where Leonardo, who was watching the filming, said to Nicholson, who had just arrived in New York, "See, Jack? Martin is becoming more and more shaless."
Nicholson adjusted his sunglasses and said, "This has always been his best act."
Leonardo was displeased, "Hey, whose side are you on? Just now you vowed to help !"
"I only agreed to help you deal with that guy who thinks he can ss with the heavens," Nicholson wasn't taking the bait. "At other tis, I wouldn't want to stand with a sprinter. It's too embarrassing."
Leonardo gave him the middle finger.
Nicholson's retort was swift, "No wonder Gisele broke up with you."
This hit Leonardo hard, "Do you and Martin, you two assholes, have to see dead to be happy?"
Nicholson smiled and said, "Not at all, you're soone who can really take a good screwing."
Leonardo was beginning to doubt inviting Nicholson over was a bad decision, "I invited you here to help, Jack."
"Help, of course!" Nicholson turned back to the matter at hand, "Have you looked into that Canadian kid's situation yet?"
Leonardo said, "Martin and I have sent people to investigate. Justin Bieber has been up to no good in recent years, his behavior and speech have been very high-profile. I believe they'll bring sothing I can use."
Nicholson said, "Only with enough understanding can we take targeted asures."
Thinking of the things said last night, phrases like "the water is plenty" and "the taste is good," Leonardo felt a vein throb on his forehead, "We might not be able to kill him, but we have to teach him a stern lesson!"
Nicholson took a sip from his cup and said, "I just wish that asshole brought a gun to ss with you."
Leonardo was exasperated, "You've been targeting all day."
"That's not targeting," Nicholson chuckled coldly. "If he ca at you with a gun, Martin would have a reason to take him down."
On the set, Martin was already in place, and the shooting was about to begin.
Leonardo said, "After Martin wraps up, let's go back to the hotel room and talk in detail."
Nicholson didn't say any more.
After the clapperboard was struck, the set went quiet without any more gunshots.
A hulking man, well over 2 ters tall, began to engage in hand-to-hand combat with Martin.
The filming stopped and started as Chen Hu continuously entered the set, instructing on action techniques and adjusting the choreography of the two actors.
The towering man, tall and with long arms, focused mainly on attacks with his hands, while Martin's strikes targeted the lower body.
Shooting the scene was quite problematic, especially for Martin, who needed to make his hits feel real, yet hold back enough to avoid kicking vital spots.
After nearly two hours of struggle, the final shot was finally completed.
With the scene done, the crew wrapped up. Martin went off to remove his makeup and change, eting up with Leonardo and Nicholson to head back to the hotel.
After dinner, the three discussed last night's events in detail, and Bruce called, having collected a lot of information about Justin Bieber.
Martin asked him to bring it back to the room, ready to discuss it together and co up with a good plan.
Since they were going to cause trouble, they naturally wanted to make so noise.
When they got to the room, Nicholson said, "I really understand Leo's mindset, like how I feel about Lorraine. If Lorraine married Martin or Leo, I wouldn't object, but if she brought ho so junkie street punk, I'd break the bastard's legs."
Martin quickly interjected, "Lorraine deserves a better future than with or Leo."
Leonardo agreed wholeheartedly, "She'll find a man who loves her with all his heart."
Bruce ca out from the study, handing copies of the gathered materials to Martin, Leonardo, and Nicholson, keeping one to examine closely himself.
Martin skimd through the material quickly.
The explosive popularity of Justin Bieber in recent years had shown how an ordinary teen could beco lost in wealth and debauchery overnight, repeatedly flouting the law with impunity.
Driving license revoked after doing drugs in Miami, ssing around in front of fans and dia after doing drugs, doing drugs in a Los Angeles recording studio and turning a work session into a wild party, getting high at ho and continuously throwing eggs at the neighbor's house, demanding the neighbor lady ss around with him...
As for jealousy and conflicts with other artists or celebrities, those were just routine.
But Bieber had money, and in Arica, that ant he could do a lot. Lawyers and bail weren't an issue.
And his record company was backing him up.
Martin closed the material, "Did you notice, all the illegal stuff he's involved with happens after he's taken drugs? This guy definitely has a serious drug addiction."
Nicholson looked at the clippings on the material and said, "It's obvious."
Leonardo added, "For a singer, that's hardly an issue. Those in EDM, rap, and rock, pretty much everyone's like that."
"The depraved Arica," Nicholson mused, "How should we save these lost lambs?"
Martin got to the point, "All of Justin Bieber's illegal activities happen after doing drugs, and after getting high, he almost always looks for won."
Leonardo said, "That stuff can indeed stir up those kinds of thoughts."
Nicholson nodded, "Your observation is very sharp. I have an initial plan now, involving won."
Martin said, "Blondies attract won easily, we target him with won. We'll call this operation Blonde Bashing!"
