Though the rcenaries were capable of taking out the frogn landing on the ground, they were clearly helpless against threats from above.
“What’s up there? I see nothing?” White Wolf looked up into the cloudless sky, puzzled.
“When I was on the flight back, I saw a spy balloon through a telescope at around 8000 ters altitude. It’s at least 10,000 ters away from the ground, so of course, you can’t see it from down here,” Allen Zhang explained.
“What? A spy balloon? What do we do?” White Wolf was shocked and sowhat helpless.
He didn’t sleep last night, constantly on alert for those with ill intentions, and he hadn’t expected that soone would indeed dare to provoke them.
Didn’t they see the destroyers and battle ships stationed at the port?
Or do they think these are just dummy setups like in the movies, posed there just to scare and actually inoperable so they aren’t frightened?
“These frogn managed to land on the island without any noise, which ans the teams were clearly prepared well, and they must have their sea supply ships nearby,” White Wolf said.
Previously, there wasn’t such pressure because there was no way of knowing when the enemy had landed, nor when they had deployed listening devices.
Now, though, with the Terminator Network Security System provided by the General Sect Leader, every move of the enemy was under their watch, which shocked them to find so many targeting the island!
The sixty-plus listening devices they unearthed yesterday were operational, but they’d been in use for no more than half a year. Since Priyan had bought the island and built fortress facilities equipped with ard teams, who knows how many of those devices naturally beca faulty?
Only the devices that could be detected by the counter-surveillance signal were operational. There could be hundreds of others that went undetected and had naturally failed!
White Wolf also didn’t dare speak up, because just yesterday, on a whim, he checked around his dwelling and discovered a damaged device in the brick gap next door.
He didn’t even know when it had been installed; luckily, the device was already dysfunctional, clearly the work of a previous batch of traitors!

After getting off the car and entering the hangar, Qibatu and the sheet-tal workers had already proficiently unpacked the boxes, sorted out all the parts of the combat aircraft, and even hoisted the engines up, checking each one.
“Boss, we’ve already inspected these parts, and there aren’t any issues. Many of the parts and circuits are brand new and unused. The engines, although second-hand, are fundantally sound and can still be used. If it’s just for routine missions, continuing to use them for another ten or eight years won’t be a problem,” Qibatu reported.

The F16 was a single-engine light and dium-size combat aircraft developed last century by General Dynamics in collaboration with Martin.
The F15 is a twin-engine heavy air-superiority fighter developed for the Air Force last century by Douglas (Boeing).
The latter was an air-superiority fighter independently purchased, developed, and produced by the Air Force during the Vietnam War era, bypassing the Ministry of Defense, primarily designed for all-weather, high-speed, high-altitude operations, with a focus especially on air combat.
The F16, however, was produced because the Ministry of Defense was dissatisfied with the Air Force independently producing this expensive heavy fighter, finding it too functionally limited and not cost-effective, thus opting to have General Dynamics and Martin produce a low-cost, multi-purpose fighter.
Its main features were being economical, easy to export, and even attempting to compete with the F15 in aerial combat.
But reality also proved that the more money invested, the better the performance of the combat aircraft. The Air Force was already fed up with the Ministry of Defense constantly scrimping on defense spending, interfering with the developnt process; they’ve never been in combat, so how could they understand the frontline Air Force’s needs and strategic requirents?
A fighter jet should be purely focused on combat!
What about ground combat, destroying fortresses, conducting bombing missions? Should these be concerns of a fighter jet?
