The legal staff felt a tinge of trepidation, but could only offer a strained smile and utter so pleasantries.

A group of people left the office building, Allen Zhang handed the car keys to Reko, who took the wheel, while Allen sat in the backseat with the legal staff, driving off the street.

The officer dispatched from the Southern Branch was driving a Ford police cruiser, blaring the siren and clearing the path ahead, which made for a smooth ride, and the General Sect Leader got to experience a taste of special privilege.

After spending so ti, they arrived at the azure factory on the outskirts. Coincidentally, it wasn’t far from Pike Company’s site, a re ten-minute drive away.

"If they really are up to sothing abnormal, looking to start violence and conflict, please allow to use my right to self-defense. My employees are just next door, and they’re not as reasonable as I am," Allen Zhang cautioned the legal staff in advance.

"Mr. Jin, it’s still best to avoid any conflicts. We will help you resolve the disputes. It’s a sensitive ti now. Normally, these employees’ behaviors wouldn’t even matter; if you’re dissatisfied, you could let them go at any mont. But for the next few days, the FBI will be investigating in Los Angeles, so all sectors need to be more cautious."

Plans can’t keep pace with changes, and the legal staff were helpless; they didn’t want to draw fire upon themselves, at least they had to make a show of compliance.

A lot of mainstream dia’s attention was already on Los Angeles, and people from other states didn’t care what you thought; those dias would love to slander you, blowing any little movent out of proportion!

This was not conducive to the developnt of Los Angeles.

After all, it’s Angel City, the second largest booming city, where any filth and chaos needed to be cleaned up to pristine condition.

Allen Zhang also expressed understanding.

"After all, it’s the United States. Every state has its own difficulties, but where would they understand the worries of the Los Angeles mayor with an annual inco over two hundred thousand dollars?"

On the surface, two hundred thousand dollars, but God knows how much money he could siphon off secretly.

Los Angeles’ economy was just too impressive.

They arrived at the scene by car.

Through the window, Allen Zhang saw a group of Black employees wielding placards, interspersed with South Aricans and Indians. Upon seeing the Rolls-Royce Cullinan approach and park at the site, they surged over, with a Black person at the forefront holding a banner and shouting loudly: "Pike Company! Pay back our hard-earned money!!"

"Pay up!!"

"You should be hung from streetlights!!"

This familiar scene made the General Sect Leader and Reko exchange confused glances inside the car.

"Damn it, as a generous and helpful conscientious businessman, they actually want to hang from the streetlights? Is there no justice? No law?" the General Sect Leader muttered angrily.

Looking outside at the Black woman holding the sign, with dirty dreadlocks and a loud voice, Allen Zhang pointed and asked, "What’s her na?"

"Reddie," Reko responded, flipping through the employee list.

"Hey, Reddie, you’re freaking fired!!" Allen Zhang lowered the window and yelled out, flipping his middle finger without coddling her.

"..."

The legal staff were stupefied.

Wait, didn’t we just agree not to stir up a scene? How did it turn so quickly?

How are they supposed to explain this?

General Sect Leader: Too difficult? Then don’t bother!

As these words were uttered, many Black people felt provoked and beca furiously enraged, as if they wanted to charge forward imdiately.

The police officers got out of the car to maintain the peace, pulling out their handguns, light weapons, and the car-mounted shotgun, cocking them with a click, and bellowing, "Back off!! Don’t co any closer!!"

Now their role was truly apparent.
