Chapter 581: Chapter 272: Return to Hotown_3
“Is that you? Mr. Jin! Misunderstanding! A misunderstanding! We didn’t an to target you with this!”
Seeing their cover blown, a few international criminals known as “Black” dropped their pretense in a panic, their accents changing from the posh Central African tones to the more grounded West Coast drawl.
“Relax, I’m not planning to do anything to you. I’m not interested in your little sches, and I haven’t suffered any loss. I’ll keep you around because you might still be useful. I’m thinking of selling you to so Central African tycoons, sending you back to your holand. They’re real mbers of the Royal Family, and I guess they’d be pretty pissed off to learn that soone’s sullying their image and dignity on the international stage. They’ll probably look forward to venting their frustration on you.” Allen Zhang said with a smile as he patted their shoulders reassuringly.
The Black people were nearly in tears. What was the difference between this and death?
After all, these people had real wealth and backgrounds, and they reared little lions and leopards and the like at ho.
The Black man with the very long na had a weak ntal constitution and couldn’t withstand the shock; his eyes rolled back, and he fainted on the spot.
Allen Zhang imdiately ordered the Beggar Gang Disciples to tie them up and transport them to the Qiliye Mountain Range via helicopter.
Sieg ca over carrying a few bundles, which, when opened, revealed various cri tools and a collection of sophisticated jewelry. More importantly, there were two or three antiques inside.
“There’s a total of $200,000 in cash inside, plus a few fake antiques that have so story to them. Their next step was to head to Yunding in Malaysia to commit their cri; they’ve already made contact with soone there,” Sieg said.
“Keep the cash. The jewelry, I can use. Toss the antiques though; they’re worthless,” Allen Zhang waved his hand dismissively and then got into the car.
Sieg dealt with the items and also got into the car, driving the rented Jetta toward Los Angeles.
When they got back to the city, it was already close to the wee hours of the morning.
Allen Zhang had Sieg drop him off at a specific location and after saying goodbye, they went their separate ways. He took out his phone and sent a ssage to Amanda.
Allen Zhang: I’m here.
He waited a while but didn’t receive a reply. Allen thought they might have fallen asleep or were perhaps partying hard?
He was about to turn around and leave.
But just as he was about to turn around, he heard a loud commotion and turned to see a disheveled woman, her face sared with cream, running out of the apartnt, heading straight for the General Sect Leader, barefoot. Behind her, there were several others waving electric chainsaws that buzzed loudly!
“WTF!!”
Allen Zhang’s scalp tingled, and he instinctively reached for his gun.
What kind of lunatics roam the streets with chainsaws, chasing people to kill?
What the hell is going on here?
Is this really Los Angeles at just past midnight?
But as they approached, the group shouted, “Hanberger!!”
“It’s ,” Allen Zhang cald down and watched the group with a mix of amazent and suspicion.
“We’ve been waiting for you! We’re playing a ga; do you want to join in now?” Amanda grabbed the General Sect Leader’s hand excitedly; it was clear she’d had a bit to drink.
Taking advantage of people wasn’t the General Sect Leader’s style.
So, he imdiately agreed to join in.
“I don’t mind. What kind of ga?”
“You play the chainsaw maniac, and we play the survivors. If you catch any of us, you can deliver punishnt, any punishnt!” Amanda said with excitent.
“…” This sounds intense?
Before the General Sect Leader could react, a voluptuous woman, still oozing with charm, handed him the chainsaw, “Hello, new maniac, it’s your turn now! God, I’m so glad I don’t have to chase people anymore.”
She was huffing and puffing, her complexion rosy, fanning herself as her ample chest seed unmanageable with one hand.
It was obvious that in this ga she was at a disadvantage; everyone else was nimble with no encumbrance, only she had to deal with substantial burdens front and back.
“Max?” Allen Zhang managed to recognize her beneath the layers of colorful paint.
“Just call Kate or Dellins. I’m quite familiar with you, Mr. Jin! Amanda never stops talking about you; I’m practically getting calluses on my ears. Alright, now it’s ga ti; the ga is about to start, are you ready?” Dellins said with a smile, and then turned and ran off screaming with the others.
Allen Zhang weighed the chainsaw in his hand; it was a modified prop from a set. Looking at the little lambs running away, the won sure knew how to play!
Late at night, there was also no need to worry about disturbing the peace, as it seed there were no residents nearby.
He promptly rolled up his sleeves, pulled the starter cord to rev the chainsaw, which started buzzing, belching black smoke, “Okay, Johnny’s here!!”
