"That boss of yours is really unlucky to have you two as employees. But seeing that he has never given you guys a raise even after so many years of work, it’s clear that you’re not that important to him. He’s totally a Grangtail! Not a wise ruler at all."
Allen Zhang joked, "Well, how about coming to work for ? I can take over your boss’s assets, and everything else about your jobs will remain the sa, you’ll still do what you do. I won’t interfere, it’s just a change of boss."
"Are you interested? I can notify my boss right now. Just wait a mont." Mark hung up the phone and went to inform his boss.
After waiting for two minutes, Mark called Allen Zhang back, saying on the phone, "Our boss agreed to et you, just co directly to the car graveyard in the suburbs, he’s currently hiding out there to avoid trouble."
"Ok, I’ll be there right away."
Allen Zhang hung up the phone, stepped on the gas, and drove to the car graveyard customization shop in the suburbs.
It took him tens of minutes to reach the car graveyard, he turned into a small road and stopped by the roadside. He sent a ssage to Mark, and after waiting a while, saw him approaching with two bulldogs, looking downtrodden and waving casually, still unkempt and scruffy, ssy and disheveled.
"Man, can’t you tidy yourself up a little? You look like you’re high all the ti," Allen Zhang comnted as he got out of the car.
Mark casually waved his hand, "Life is mostly filled with disappointnts, and I’m not looking for a girlfriend. I’m dedicating my life to modifying cars."
Allen Zhang then looked at the two bulldogs, which rembered him and wagged their tails as they approached.
He smiled, "Are these two dogs for sale?"
"I’m not a dog, how would I know if they’re willing to go with you."
Mark said, "But it looks like they like you. You bought the repair and customization shops, so they’re yours now."
"Ok. Take to your boss." Allen Zhang patted the dogs’ heads and got up to summon Mark to et the person.
Mark led the way with the dogs to a makeshift shelter deep in the car graveyard. Hearing the dogs barking outside, the old Fury alerted them, and a skinny, bearded middle-aged man also walked out of the simple shelter.
He greeted Allen Zhang warmly and shook hands, "Hello, Mr. Jin. You are the one buying my assets, right? I’ve heard about it from Mark, and I’ve been following you too. You have quite a reputation in Zone 5, I think you’re an impressive person."
Seeing the simplistic living environnt, Allen Zhang couldn’t help but be shocked, "Dude, why is it so tough?"
"No choice, I’ve been more than 6 hours without answering the police call. They require to report every 2 hours, but I’ve been busy selling assets and didn’t have ti to talk to them. They are probably already knocking on my door. They might be searching for all over the city right now. I can only hide in this pile of trash."
Mike’s boss gave a wry smile, "Can you imagine? Just the day before yesterday, even yesterday morning, I was still a wealthy man with hundreds of thousands in savings, a happy family, and career. Now, not only burdened by high bail debt, wanted by the police, but also forced to sell properties and flee."
"This is my wife and daughter, hey, Ada, co say hello to Mr. Jin!" Mike called back, and a woman holding a child also ca out from the shelter.
Blonde and blue-eyed, still charming but clearly perplexed, hair ssy and unwashed face, but despite this, she still maintained a very enthusiastic attitude and greeted Allen Zhang.
Seeing this family of three turned into this situation, Allen Zhang found it hard to smile.
It’s really unpredictable what cos first, tomorrow or a cruel accident.
"Hello there, little cutie," Allen Zhang greeted the little girl and magically pulled out a lollipop, "What flavor do you like?"
"Sorry, sir, my daughter is still changing her teeth, she can’t eat things that are too sweet," Mike’s wife Ada apologetically said.
"No worries." Allen Zhang smiled.
